* My favorite part of using Gmail is when my emails just completely disappear. HUGE fan of that. And the search function is amazing. There are people I e-mail on a daily basis who, when searched, it turns out I've only sent them like 2 emails and they were both 5 years ago. Fascinating.
* Turns out this guy is an American hero. Fighting for the rights of 9/11 responders and wounded veterans.
The next time I hear/see someone say X or Y political party cares about veterans, I'm quickly pointing out they're being lied to. Neither one cares. This guy -- a former stand-up comedian, fights government bureaucracy and ******** and gets things done. (insert applause emoji)
* Living at 10,200 feet has been incredible. 1 month down, 1 to go.
- wake up at 5:30
- drink coffee and read for an hour or two
- work for 2-3 hours
- go on a hike/run/etc for a few hours in the late morning/early afternoon
- late lunch
- shower up
- sit around drinking beers and enjoying the weather
Low of 44 today. High 71. Sunny and perfect.
* The best part of the Gonzaga series is that it's a TRUE home-and-home. Real fans and students and band members in attendance. I totally get why Cal wants the big city, big lights matchups, but for REAL fans, a home-and-home is so much more enjoyable -- in person or on television.

"Mark Stoops doesn't deny Axl Rose resemblance, others notes from KSR appearance."
Kudos to KSR for the headline.
* Following Chris Oats' recovery on social media is something else, man. What a hero.
* I've never felt more confident about the future of the Cincinnati Reds. They trade veterans all the time, but what they DON'T do is completely clean the house and build an incredibly deep farm system. It's been universsally agreed they got tremendous value on all their trades. Feels freaking great.
It's also looking increasingly likely that we've got 3 studs in the rotation for years to come -- Greene, Lodolo, and Ashcraft. I think 2023 will be a fun year, and 2024 we'll be ready to compete in a big way. Applause to Nick Krall. Unload the 3 biggest contracts (Votto/Moose/Minor) and we're in great shape. We're not that far away.
* Alex Jones actually DID get all that money by being a simpleton. His two 4-hour interviews on Joe Rogan were incredible. Just 240 straight minutes of screaming and ranting and raving while barely taking time to gasp for air. Despite Rogan giving him the biggest platform in media, he eventually turned on him. Rogan pretended he had no idea Alex Jones was so controversial, and said something like "man, he's got real issues." No kidding, Joe?
* John Cocktoestone.
