Korn was considered the height of music at Russell County Middle School in the late 90's. I distinctly remember this being played at multiple school dances.

And this was one of the more iconic music videos of the TRL era, first non NSYNC / Backstreet Boys video to reach #1.

That said, looking back, the music was awful.

Yeah I may have missed it by a few years. Obviously, was aware of Korn. Just can’t recall it ever being played.

If you want to gawk at bad music/culture, an abundance of which is inspired by the worst of the late 90's and early aughts (e.g. Korn, Staind, Creed, Incubus, emo, etc.), check out Catatonicyouths on Instagram. Curated cringeworthy content. Hard to look away.

Soaked up about as much football as I could yesterday. Cats are confident. I came away excited about every single position group, except maybe DL. Seems like Brad White knows there's talent and depth there, but he wants someone to step up and be the damn man. He seems to like the new pieces in the secondary, which is great news.

Scangarello giddy about the TEs. Cummings will emerge as a star this season.

Dane Key hype is not slowing down. Barion Brown generating early buzz too. Get 'em the ball, Rich.

Dept of Transportation proposing refunds for flights delayed by 3+ hours (6 if international) even if the ticket was "non-refundable" or beyond the airline's control. Also would require non-expiring vouchers for travelers affected by the pandemic (sick, stay at home order, or border restrictions). Could go into effect in 3 months.

-Capping off the kids summer with brisket and go karts this weekend. The Kroger had more brisket on sale yesterday so I bought 2 more and the household has begged for one this weekend.

No problem.

-Turns out the pool chlorinator wasn’t the issue, it was my electrician selecting for 220 option then wiring it for a 110.

-Krispy Kreme is giving a chocolate glazed dozen for $1 with a purchase of another dozen. There was a time I wouldn’t miss that for the world.

- Just realized the cubs didn’t move a few guys they should have electing instead to take the comp picks when they leave in FA. What a crock those comp picks are.

- Reading reports out of Titans camp and the draft they had this year seems to be better than I thought. We are quiet on all the talk shows this year and I like that too. Talk up Josh Allen, Cincinnati, Lamar, and Mahomes all day long.

- I’ve gotten down to 262 now just doing that 16/8 eating window. I’m determined to get to 250 and that means a real commitment to the gym now. Saturday/Sunday at first and then work on Wednesday while kids are at church with their grandma.

- I’m a fantasy football nerd and in a 32 team RSO league where we manage a budget and contracts etc laid out like the real NFL. Have picked up first round picks for next year trading away expensive assets to increase my chances at Will Levis.

Time to shine kid!

These were our jerseys the last two times in The Bahamas so I wouldn't read to much into them for the regular season.

2 problems w/ this...

One, you're assuming Bell is still managing, and that is worth at least 10-15 losses.

Two, you're a Reds homer and know zilch about baseball in general.

In other words...stick to the mountains.

From The Athletic

“They added a slew of high-upside prospects, and while they won’t all work out, they’ve acquired so many of those guys at this point that they’re likely to get two or three stars out of the entire system, including the players they already had,” Law said. “When you add to that the fact that they’ve had two very solid drafts in 2021-22, and some of the young players still developing in MLB, they seem like they’re in way better shape going forward than they were even four months ago.”

The whites are the basically the women’s jerseys without checkerboards. Not bad.

The blues are the cream baseball knockoffs but worse. How did they mess that up?

The black unis are just soooo bad.

Why do we feel the need to over complicate everything and make it so busy? We can’t even plagiarize ourselves well.

They look like something some D-II school called ButtF*** State would wear to Rupp to get beaten 117-61 in a preseason game.

No need to explain to that dipshit. He mentions the Dodgers when discussing how to run a franchise as if more than three or four teams can handle 300 to 400 million dollar payrolls.

Anyone that can’t see the position the reds are in are simply choosing not to and are the perfect example of “trying to hard”.

It's incredible how consistently terrible our gear and uniforms are...it shouldn't be that difficult. All three really do look like UK wome...err, HOOPS unis. I'm not giving football a pass either, those are generic and stale.

Whatever...if we win it's background noise, if we lose it's just something that makes me even more irritated.

Barron countdown in 5, 4....

I agree with everyone else. The white unis are okay, the blue ones aren't, and the black ones are awful.

Sat through a pretrial hearing in a murder case yesterday. I never want to do that again.

I lost over 3% of my bodyweight yesterday from sweating, and I wasn't even doing labor. Just walking around a farm with arborist and stone masons getting quotes.

Grandmother was released from the hospital yesterday into an assisted living facility for rehabilitation. Second broken hip in 4 years, she'll never get through a metal detector now.

Worst part about the Reds building out their farm system is knowing all those prospects will get traded once they break through with some value.

More rain on the way. I wish some of it could have come last month while crops were dying and pastures were withering.

Critter (my youngest) decided to wake up at 4 this morning. Got her back to sleep and she was up again at 5. Got her to sleep again and then she didn't want to wake up when it was time to get ready for daycare. Kids

Dove season opens one month from today. Looking forward to shooting some birds.

30 days until kickoff!

Anyone going to fan day this weekend?

-Ruined the blues with the shoulder and short white bands. Other than that I like em. The black ones are terrible and should be trashed. Whites are fire.

-Can't believe we're going on 8+ years of our tribute to Secretariat. F*cking terrible. Mitch is somehow ruining our uniforms and making me have distain for the greatest race horse of all time.

-Alone series on Netflix is a nice little mindless watch where I casually judge survivalist in the artic who have been out there for 40-50 days alone in grizzly bear country. "Oh, you f*cking loser, leaving b/c you're a little scared of a recent grizzly encounter, who cares you haven't eaten in 3 weeks, sack up we have 500k on the line."

-I'm interested in dove hunting. Holla atcha boi.

-New video boards have to be an upgrade considering the last couple season we've had huge black squares randomly not working throughout the game.

-Little man(#2) is becoming a little person. That's fun to watch but 2-3 year olds will test the patience of event the coolest. It's on the horizon.

-Speaking of kids, I'm not sure why, but the group we run with has a big aversion to pillows on couches. 2 steps in the door and these bastards have every single pillow and throw blanket on the floor. Before I can even make it from the door to the living room. Like it's a matter of national security or some ****. No explanation either. "Why do you all immediately throw every pillow on the floor?!?!" **Blank stare**

-Pearl Jam sucks. TS.

-B/W game in Pikeville is awesome. Nice work.

-Pork chop sandwiches still a thing at the State Fair? Damn those were amazing. Love the state fair as a kid and teenager.

-Worst Reds team ever is now 3rd(in central) above the douchebag Cubbies. FYI.

-Props to FCPS for staying mask optional!!

Always good being on the opposite side of BBdK’s arts opinions.

I love everything about the state fair except the rides.

The indoor flea market, 4H exhibits, talent shows, everytown Kentucky, university displays, and especially the food. Top notch people watching as well. I wish they'd let BBdk do the talking for Freddy Farm Bureau.
