This bagel shop/deli near my office where I pick up lunch most days is a big LGBTQIA69+ place. Nice folks and great food, but super gay. Today I received a complimentary rainbow pattern “****** with Gears” T-shirt with my lunch order. It’s rad. Apparently a leftover from their signature pride week bike rally event. I can’t wait to figure out where I’m going to wear this.

Gonna be a helluva weekend watch at St. Andrews. A Rory vs Sheffler vs DJ on Sunday might be epic.

Mind blown that Giancarlo Esposito (Gus Fring actor) was getting lessons in that jail scene in Trading Places from Billy Ray Valentine about how Karate Man bleeds from the inside. Great comedic scene.

Anybody been to that Nic & Norman's restaurant in downtown Lexington owned by Greg Nicotero and Norman Reedus from The Walking Dead?

Better Call Saul winding down its final episodes in its final season much like Breaking Bad did-- home run episode after home run episode. These last couple of episodes are arguably some of the best in the whole series and on a par with some of BB's greats.

Bruce Almighty was charming enough, but Evan Almighty was garbage.

"She wears a long fur coat of mink even in the summer time." --Sheila E

*Great weather for our bi-weekly street party last night. I had half a gummie and a 6'er and felt great. Partied on the street until around 1 then called it a night.

*Taking the kids to Steak and Bourbon tonight to celebrate my son's bday. I've only been one time, but remember being impressed.

*Pti's white *** on display today.

*JD Shelburn at the amphitheater Saturday. I promise I cannot name a single song of his, but I'm still going, because, chicks.

I can already see it coming: if Ugonna Kingsley Onyenso commits, UK fans will be calling him, "UKO" and GYERO will explode.
Since "UKO" is literally a made up acronym that an internet troll used to try to convince people he is a UK football fan, I am perfectly ok with a fine young man starting a new Kentucky narrative for a name that is otherwise a weeping boil on the ******* of Kentucky internet lore.

My daughter has avoided any major tears in her knee which is good news. We’ve decided to take her down to Nashville to an orthopedic group that specializes in knees (they work with the Titans, Preds, Vandy, etc.) to get an MRI and a speciality brace.

Apparently, she had a quick dislocation that chipped just a small little piece of bone. The dr. showed us on the MRI where it was. She’s still a little tender but overall, we’re very pleased because no surgery . . . for now.

I say all of that to say this - DO NOT DRIVE 65 SOUTH THROUGH NASHVILLE IF YOU DONT HAVE TO. Even on the way back it was awful. A major metro area that has a 2 lane interstate 10 miles away from the city center that’s under construction isn’t great infrastructure. Also, a 3 interstate merge in and around the city isn’t a great idea either.

Last thing: By my estimation 65-70% of all drivers are on their phones while zipping in and around traffic. Truck drivers are just as guilty. Drifting into and out of lanes as they Snapchat, Google search Gene Hackman, post on Catspause, check Tinder, etc. It’s rough out there, you guys.

Speaking of weeping boils, I was at the Hamilton County Courthouse this afternoon and witnessed a near-miss altercation between a (presumably) crack ***** and a homeless lady. Homeless lady had a microphone and signs and was mumbling incoherently in the mic. Crack *****, walking her dog, walks up and yells, "HAHA! I SUCKED YO MAN'S DICK!" repeatedly at mic'd up homeless lady. Some back and forth ensues, and crack ***** continues to giggle and bragged* "I sucked yo man's dick! I was the last person he was with before he DIED, haha *****!" Mic'd up homeless lady stumbled off the curb she was sitting on and starts running* after crack ***** waving her cane around. Crack ***** is a very speedy runner, because crack, and escaped, just to continue her way down the block yelling about how she ****** your mans, your mans, and your mans too (using the word "your" for...just everyone, I guess).

I got inside to my courtroom and there was a cockroach the size of my cat wandering the vestibule. LAW!

If anyone wants a great blowie, I think I know just the girl for you. You're going to need penicillin later, though.

* not that anyone else would be proud, but she sure was

Well, **** - how am I supposed to get to BBdK’s little brother’s “Pimpz n Hoez” foam party with Gummy Bar at Alan Jackson’s sons house tonight?

* I love Keeneland like no other--and think it's the perfect track/setup in the world--but Saratoga is one I'd ask if I could "cheat" on it with; Del Mar is almost there.

* Hey, speaking of horses, let's think about Jack Christopher at the Haskell next Saturday at Monmouth. Maybe $10 tri key. He's one that I had an early look at for a Derby win.

I will put him down for a possible MattsCats Late Summer/Early Fall Triple Crown (Haskell, Travers, Breeder's Cup Classic) winner.

* Decided to learn how to fly a drone and see where that goes; no pun. Didn't think about all of the "DO NOT DO" things that come with this.

Legally can't fly more than 400ft in America, but the slider can go up WAY higher (I'll abide). Also, it literally says don't get anywhere near the 2020 Japan Olympics in the instructions.

Roger and clear.

* The scene in Rainman when Dustin Hoffman's character is rambling off songs on the jukebox and Cruise is sitting there thinking, "$$$$" is amazing.

Then you go all-in when they transition into the Vegas Strip scenery. The music is makes it go from amazing to tremendous.

* Just finished D.B. Cooper. Where Are You? on Netflix.

Christ. I find myself knowing a lot of about history, but I swear I had never heard of this story.

Lock: the biggest and ballsiest "criminal" act of all-time. What a badass.

* Loving the Early American YouTube channel.

I couldn't stop watching the woman cooking food like it was 1820. No music. No voiceovers. No frill.

Made me realize how quiet it was.

No sounds from today's world.

The only sounds you hear are the food being made, birds chirping in the background, and the fire crackling.

Added to my sleep list.

* Can any of the Rupp regulars let me know what music they usually play during the pre-game? I have a cheer coach that asked me and I ran through all the songs I can think of so she can use it for her girls. I have named off tons of songs.

* Speaking of which, I am craving basketball in less than a month, but I am ready to go nuts over "Grove Street Party", honestly. Like big-time nuts.

My wife had never heard of DB Cooper either… we are currently watching on Netflix. No way he survived that jump. Plane going 250mph, 10k ft up, just a simple parachute, landing god knows where in the middle of the night. No way.

Anyone else who post on catpaw swear by this stuff? I slather it on my cocknballs region at least twice a day, sometimes up to five, depending on activity level.

According to your link you better rest that brisket in the oven for 14 hours at 140.

Count me in as one who is impressed for the Knicks. Declining a 4 player 6 1st round draft pick offer for Mitchell seems like a no brainer to most. However this is a Knick organization that was fleeced for Carmelo and went years without a first round pick because of it.

Enjoyed spending the morning with DrX’s peeps on a barrel pick. Totally forgot they sent a box of picks, but when I opened up the EH Taylor Single Barrel pick I couldn’t have been happier.

They ended up picking 2 barrels of the 17YO Rye, it’s that good. Only 2 barrels left ::sad face::

Oldest niece turns 17 and out of every place she could pick of course she wants Blaze pizza. I can feed her, all her skinny friends, and my whole family for $100……..no sweetheart, thank you, really!!

I don’t care how much **** y’all give Anth, I love summer heat. I mainly appreciate it because it goes away, but if I can convince the wife to move to a beach destination with some heat in the next 5-10 years my life will be full.

3 pack of UK football tickets? UL, 1 of USC or MSU, and 1 cupcake including Vandy, think I’ll baby step my way back into “K”roger.

So the Knicks nearly got Quickley, Toppin, a few others, and *six* 1st Rounders for Mitchell. Those kinds of trades crack me up, because the picks are basically guaranteed to all be lotto. Because the Knicks are terrible.
