That must be why it has some of the nicest neighborhoods, most expensive homes, and the two nicest golf courses in Central KY. Your continued ignorance about Jessamine is amusing. It has been 12 yrs since I was there, but I wouldn't hesitate about going back. You have an inferiority complex?
Well my point is clearly wrong.

I wish the picks weren't unprotected.

But KAT basically been playing as a 4 on offense forever. Plus Gobert negates KAT's weaknesses in the paint and will hopefully keep him out of foul trouble.

Draft picks in the 20s don't mean anything, so as long as they stay somewhat competitive the trade is fine.

Todays Lex-Louisville Events & Snackdown:

  • Breakfast at Keeneland Track Kitchen an all-timer. Magical experience for $16. For both of us. Biscuits & Gravy for $3? Beat the **** out of soggy *** Biscuit Belly.
  • Cruised backcountry, horses
  • Buffalo Trace Gift Shop (Eagle Rare for $35)
  • Ruth candies for gramma
  • Nazareth home on Newbugh Rd didn’t have gramma… she’s in Clifton, drove all over the place to find the other nursing home. Looks good. Still sharp…note to self, no knee replacements on 89 year olds
  • Irish Rover with friends. Guinness.
  • My bottle of Justin’s HOB cask strength pick exploded (cork popped) under extreme heat in car. Rental car. Wax failed. Unreal🖕🏻
  • Back to Lex. Ruby’s. Very nice. Service makes that joint. Wedge, Steak Burrow. Mac… WmTarr then EHT. Tarr had notes of wet dog on nose.
My kid loved it. All that matters.
  • Hoping Delta overbooked flight as they offered $10000 to some to reschedule. Yes please .
  • Happy 4th!

If we get this trade rumored to be in the works then KD is a ***** for real.

KD to Phoenix
Ayton to Utah
Donovan Mitchell to Brooklyn

I’m sure other minor pieces fill in too but that’s a blockbuster and Brooklyn gets the best piece IMO.

My house is in the middle of the dry bubble heat vortex wormhole or something. I have watched clouds and rain pass by here that defy meteorology. No one could make it make sense to me. How can a cloud split, dry up, and then regain momentum after it passes by me less than 5 miles later? It’s unreal. We’ve been 27 straight days without any significant rainfall at our house. Water bill, boom. We went from a 90% chance of rain today to 10%. Not a drop. Had storm damage from a wind burst/wall cloud two weeks ago. Not a damn drop of rain from. Not. One. Drop.

Mitchell has led the Utah Jazz to multiple one seeds in the west and consistently a top 2-3 team since he joined the team.

I believe he is also 5-6 years younger than KD too.

I’m not arguing that Mitchell has had a better career, but I’d certainly take him on my team over ***** *** KD right now.

If it happens, I’d suspect Mitchell will lead Brooklyn to better seed than KD and Kyrie did.

Agreed on all points.

KD overcame an achillies injury, but that may always be a looming factor for projecting out his long-term durability.

The Nets were better off with the guys they developed and Kenny Atkinson as coach. They were a fun squad.

eff Kyrie

Donovan Mitchell is 8 years younger than Durant. Mitchell is 25, Durant 33. Both born in September.

It’s just summer league, but sat here watching Keegan Murray go off while swimming with the kids.

He was my bust of the draft, but I’m not so sure after watching that.

Wilson Lake or Lake Guntersville? Grew up visiting cousins several times a year on LG. Amazing place. They lived next to a summer camp, which their parents ran. Any time there were no campers (holidays, weekends, basically every time we visited), we had free reign over the place. Swimming pool, basketball courts, baseball field, tennis courts, ping pong, canoes, swimming off the dock, etc.

We rented a cottage in downtown Midway with a pool. Currently sitting beside the pool waiting for the sun to come on strong while the church down the street is having an old school revival concert complete with what sounds like a black choir, electric guitars, drums and the works.

I'm sitting by the pool listening while getting ready to tear into a novel. This might be Heaven, like that town in Big Fish.

Currently sitting on my porch in Newport smoking a bowl and thinking how much the state of KY means to me…I’ve been getting really sentimental this last month or so before the move.

I’ve lived in the state 35 out of 39 years of my life…blessed to have been able to call Harlan, Berea, Richmond, Lexington, Versailles, Winchester, Covington, and Newport home. This state is really special.

I’m currently at the ER because my daughter may have torn her ACL at a church camp on Friday. Let me tell you, the ER in Bowling Green Ky is some kind of place.

- A baby cries continuously.
- one man is having a loud conversation (argument?) in some Indian language on a phone.
- a middle aged lady talking loudly to her “Pop Pop” with dementia trying to ease his mind. She’s about to drive the entire waiting lobby insane. Dude would probably be ok if you weren’t constantly in his face barking orders, toots. I feel so sorry for the man.
- 2 young African American ladies essentially making fun of this situation through snap chat. Their phones aren’t on silent and you can hear the photos taken and text boxes being hit with reckless fury. It’s almost like they enjoy being here.
- Lots of loud, overweight rednecks that are dressed exactly like you think they would be.
- Surprisingly no burn victims or fireworks injuries.

It’s been a decent run, folks. Let’s just go ahead and fold up shop.

I just hear the giant suction of tax dollars being wasted with every increasing detail of your post. One of my best friends is an ER doc who has to work this weekend. Usually he and I text multiple times a day, even when he's working. He's been radio silent all weekend, poor bastard.

To many, the ER is known as “the doctor’s office.” Not sure that’s how it’s supposed to work, but whatever.
The young ladies sitting next us said exactly that . . . via a FaceTime call back to their crib. They were adamant that Tony (lol! Seriously) make sure they grab a towel and shorts for the boy. They were headed to Beech Bend water park after they got out. We got hear (and even see) all of this conversation.

Thanks. Could be a meniscus, MCL, ACL, or any combo. There’s some pretty good swelling. There’s something going on.

She is not a competitive athlete at all. She was involved in some sort of dizzy-bat spin relay and took a bad step. Pop and down she went.

She does run across country so that’s probably out for the year barring some sort luck that I’m not expecting. Hoping it’s *just* an MCL sprain or maybe meniscus.

Wilson lake.

Guy that invited us grew up here and now lives in my neighborhood.

Pontoon, lassies, beer, steaks, fireworks, more beer.

I don’t care. I’ll say it. I’d take Tom Jurich in a heartbeat. I never hated him the way you Louisville posters do.

In the NIL age, a guy who stiff arms the entire university administration, takes a win at all costs approach, and runs his operation with complete autonomy like a mafia family is exactly what you need.

...and he kept his mouth shut in the midst of serious scrutiny. I don't want him as my neighbor or friend but that prick is the best.

Barnhart irritates the living beejezus out of me but he's proven himself to be highly competent and there are zero concerns we'll get in serious trouble on his watch. That was a fantastic approach up until about about 4 months ago. I really don't want to have to deal with Tapioca TopButton publicly justifying his approach as his swansong. Just retire and go preach the good word in Bolivia or whatever.

Jerry Tarkanian still alive to be AD? Cal was once considered a pirate captain. Set that fat, crooked wop free, imo. In other words, did someone say titty?
