He made multiple 15-16 footers Nearly every game, which helps open things up.

He can’t just sit in lane for 30 seconds every possession bc, umm, that’s actually against the rules.

Another step back makes perfect sense to me for a few attempts per game, especially if top-of-key.

Dude had little interest from the league despite one of the most dominating big man seasons of this era, of course he’s looking to expand his game - Cal did the same thing with Patterson.

Y’all are some serious pussies in here.

I've got no problem with Cal getting some headlines to try to build Oscar's draft stock. IF Cal can turn Oscar into a first round pick after he returned as NPOY, that would be huge for the program -- especially in getting borderline picks to return an extra year.

- I can’t keep up- so we don’t want more spacing and 3s now?

- Top Gun was outstanding- felt good being back in the theater.

You're worried about Cal playing a big man on the perimeter?

One misconception is that Tshiebwe must now become a 3-point specialist, too, if he is to flourish in the NBA. He shot 60 percent from the field last year, but did not attempt a single 3-point shot.

“He doesn’t have to go to the 3-point line,” Calipari said. “Who doesn’t shoot 3s? Bam Adebayo, and he’s an All Star.
Cal's direct quote ^

He may take an infuriating amount of long 2's but he ain't playing on the perimeter.

KAT turns into a reliable three-point shooter in the league, and we criticize Cal for never letting him take one here. Not comparing Oscar to KAT by any means, and not saying Oscar should attempt more than 1-2 per game...just saying we can't have it both ways, guys.

That account is pretty funny, actually.

RELATED: The new practice court is pretty sharp. Very clean - no checkerboard ********. SEC logo is nice.

Don't expect it at Rupp, of course.

-It's just amazing how awful UK marketing has become. Everything is WalMart or Truck Stop style ****. Stealing your rivals patented checkboard look? That's unforgiveable.

-Same talking points. Cal wants to expand big man's game. He's going to shoot more outside shots. Which will happen the first month of the season and then he'll be buried in the lane with 4 defenders.

-Vern is the anti-UKO but not in the super-hero way. He says stuff and it makes me disagree even if I shouldn't.

-Dinner with some friends tonight, going to house a massive steak tomorrow night, couple bike rides, youth baseball, tunes, might attempt to clean out the garage... might not.

-Driving Dad's Silvarado for a couple days while mine is getting some routine maintenance. Feel like I'm driving a ******* bus. Won't fit in the garage. I'm taking up 2 parking spots.

-Diet is kicking *** since I cut starches and load up on protein. Not a real difficult effort either. If I slip up I just kinda double down on being healthy the next few days. Fruit, veggies, protein in bulk. Never hungry. Back to fighting weight from Holiday Season glut.

-Grill guy is my new favorite IG follow. That dude cracks me up. His facial expressions are too much.

-A 6 year old will take a new song and just absolutely drive that son of a ***** into the ground. I've heard Industry Baby by Lil Nas X about 500 times the last 7 days. Alexa with a kid is probably the worst thing ever. Sometimes I just go back and read what he's been asking her.

"Is today Friday?"
"Play Industry Baby"
"Will you read I just broke my Butt to me?"
"Play Industry Baby"
"What is Memorial Day?"
"Is it going to stop raining soon?"
"Play Right Foot Creep"

*Feeling a little rough today, boys and girls.

*Bourbon and Bow Ties last night was a blast. Had much more fun this year than last. Had a solid 10 person crew that pre-gamed and then yelled music until around midnight after.

*Saw quite a few folks you GYERO'ers know.

*Shaping up to be a great weather weekend. I see some patio beers and pool time in my immediate future.

*White uni is sweet. Make another one in blue and call it a day.

Last day at my current firm...accepted a VP position at another firm and will be hands on consulting campaign strategy instead of fundraising strategy (enjoyed it, awesome firm, and needed to learn fundraising...but wasn't what I wanted long term.)

Life ain't bad right now.

^ Congrats Tommy. My .02 - if it is a Pub, tell him/her to shut up and let Joe continue to win the election for you.

- Vern catches hell here because he has an original outlook. He doesn’t fall in line with the GYERO country club set regurgiating common views. I appreciate that about him. Others just want to shut him down - a story as old as time.

- @anthonys735 when you say protein, can you get more specific?

- Not an original thought but was just so nice being back in the movie theater for a movie like Top Gun. Also - seeing Maverick older was rather relatable when you recall first seeing this movie at like 10 years old and then probably another 25-30x over the years. Just a great experience and needed.
