One and a half is my sweet spot, but I've been doing the marijuana for a while now. Gummies are fantastic, but sometimes I miss the process of smoking a joint, packing a bowl/bong, etc.

Sometimes a nicely rolled splif hits the sweet spot. Gummies are nice if I’m going somewhere or attending a long event. But if I’m just at home chilling flower is usually my go to.

Me and my wife did a July 4th trip to Seattle about five years ago and we went into a weed shop. At the time the whole concept of legal weed was completely mind blowing to me so I asked the guy how much of the edible to eat. The guys eyes were as red as blood and he looked like he hadn’t bathed in 10 years so he told me each gummie was equivalent to about 1 hit. I hadn’t smoked or done anything for probably 2 years and had never had a gummie and I used to be a massive stoner for probably a decade so I thought to myself “well I used to smoke an entire blunt in one sitting so I guess I’ll just start slow and eat 4 gummies”. 2 hours later and we were in the middle of an outside park for the fireworks show. I didn’t see a single firework as I was violently vomiting while my wife kept going “seriously all this because of weed?!” I apparently kept screaming “I CANT SEE THE COLORS!!!” over and over again but I have no recollection. Was a tremendous introduction to gummies.

My first dispensary experience was this past weekend in Scottsdale. It was located in a nice strip center next to a Target and a high end local grocery store. Like, right in the middle of all of these other retail establishments like it was no big deal.

Lady asked for my ID when I walked in and kindly asked what I was looking for. After scanning the options and taking inventory of flour vs edible options she then recommended a certain Satvia type of gummy, I took her up on her recommendation, checked out at the register and then was on my merry way. Marcus just like walking in a liquor store. Somewhat surreal actually.

Thank God for the NFL. Where all teams are treated like teams.

FFS, if you don't have a marketable star in the NBA, don't even bother taking the f***ing floor, it doesn't even matter.

NBA Playoffs are sick

Feel sorry for those too stubborn to let themselves enjoy from afar - like with NFL,MLB, or even NCAAF most years. (For us non pro super fans)

I’ll never truly CARE, like I do with college/UK interests.

But damn man, if you truly love BASKETBALL, I seriously don’t understand how you couldn’t get into this.

Elite Basketball.

So good. Sorry, Randall.

You all made fun of me (well deserved) for my coke “habits” but let’s face it, gummies are the new gateway drug. Good luck staying off the hard **** once this fad wears off

Yea, how could anyone not get into a sport where all you have to do is call a timeout and that advances the ball half the distance to the goal with no time off the clock. what a great sport.

Watched a lot of Baylor Scheierman youtube clips. The competition is weak and highlights aren't the same thing as scouting but that honk looks legit. Wouldn't surprise me to see him get drafted late in the second round if he stays in the draft.

I'd love to see him here. He has kind of a weird arm angle on his shot but his mechanics are pure and he looks like a helluva passer. With his shot, ballhandling, and passing, he could potentially be a backup ballhandler / point forward if his talent translates to the SEC. I like a Toppin / Livingston / Honk forward rotation.

Dude shot 47% from the three point line. He shoots lefty but he dribbles well enough with both hands that I had to go back and rewatch a couple of clips to make sure he is a lefty. Yes, please.

... a slow-footed, sweet-shooting lefty power forward worked pretty well for Tubby back in the day.

* An 8% return on a US treasury bond looks pretty, pretty sweet right now. It looks all but certain that we're heading into a recession.

* Indeed, Kyle.

If it doesn't keep up with inflation and you are locked in for a year while CPI continues to increase, then it's not great.

Probably not the worst bet to park some cash, but next issue bond's will probably be a higher rate based on where things are going.

Of course we could be looking down the barrel of stagflation, which would make an 8% return hard to achieve elsewhere.

Man if I started spitting bourbon numbers you all would think I was lying, and there is plenty to made without even bringing a brand to a shelf.

For example, if you got an 8% return, which is high, on $1000 by year 4 you’d be around $1,360 in value depending on its amortization schedule.

If I buy a barrel made in Ky of new make bourbon for 1000, by year 4 I can sell it for $3500 and people are lined up to buy it in bulk!

Tomorrow is a huge day for me.

-I got a very crude education on the taxation of aging barrels last year and my Lord. If you can make that ish work, then yea, there's some serious money in distilling bourbon (obviously).

-Love the NBA playoffs, but for some reason haven't gotten into it this year. Just on a bit of a sport hiatus, I guess.

-Had lunch with a multi-generational CRE developer here in town once and he called the Brown family "just a bunch of bootleggers." Bootleggers that could write a check to this guy today for his entire portfolio, but really enjoyed the generational wealth smacktalk tbh.

-9/24, 10/27, and on or around 10/11 are the birthdays of the hens in my household. 3 prime football weekends. Can't have nothin.

-Still don't have a real grasp on this NIL stuff, which is a bit troubling for a college sports ball. Like, businesses/boosters just write the kids checks and say you're our spokesperson now? Pretty much it? No real obligations or anything? I feel like I'm missing something but am so ignorant on what reality is I can't conceive it.

-This Ole Miss DB we signed is making me sleep better. Our linebackers tho... shew bubbers. Stoops gonna get ish right this year defensively.

- Hard to find a guy more universally loathed than Emmert. Dude is just lampooned by everyone from fans to ADs and presidents to journalists.

- I thought The Batman was okay but enjoyed the Christian Bale version much more. Pretty cool streaming like a month after it hit the theater. Think I may make my return to the movies for Top Gun. *chomp*

- Taylor Swift’s “Folklore” is one of the best albums of the millennium. Strong top to bottom.

- I’d take Sharpe Top 3 in this draft and think he’ll end up the best player.

- Think the Bengals take advantage of the abundance of edge rushers and grab a guy that falls.

Lebron rookie

-Get to go back home and speak to the senior class Friday. Those teachers and principal have no idea what they have done.

-First Carvana experience was really good. Couldn’t believe how simple. Second one they call every 30 minutes like I’m late on a payday/title loan. The Calipari of online car purchasing.
