I mean. C’mon.

That’s sick. Probably H&O most iconic instrumental. Well done by the homie Simply Red for a more modern scene.

Even an old school rap/rnb video vibe with all the hoes and sexual innuendo.

I’m firm & confident with this take. Come at me.

I could not help thinking about Geese when Jack McKinney started their practice.
'Flow means water. Flow means finding the empty spaces.'

Boner soup.

'Winning Time' is awesome. Much more character depth than I thought. Their portrayal of Jerry West is indeed absolutely hilarious. What a psycho, (if true).

Keeping with this evening theme…

I’ve never shied away from ‘Shake you Down’ as my #1 overall favorite song of all time.

If you also enjoy, This live cover is Just so damn good.

Huge live band, chorus ladies, the dancers, the singer, extended play out, it’s all just perfect.

🥰

Saw on the tweet machine that Phil Collins recently had his last concert and his stuff has been in the car rotation lately. Like a soundtrack from early childhood.

Don’t know why anyone after Hall & Oates even tried.

Wanna know something unusual about “If You Don’t Know Me By Now?” It’s in 3 instead of 4. All of you who took cotillion learned to dance the waltz to it.

Not Oates and Hall, but this is a fantastic cover of the original. Butch Walker at Daryl's House

Legend Paul Pesco on lead guitar is pretty badass as well.

As far as I know, Hall & Oates have “honorary black” status on The Groove on SiriusXM. Telling and well-deserved imo

Boney James (sax) arranged a very good version of their “Sara Smile”

That’s the only H&O item i like -

It’s worth listening to if you’re a deeper fan of those 2

If Cal wants to stay here, he has to start recruiting guys at an earlier stage. The “WOW” factor of being at UK has lost it’s step and that’s totally on him.

Build a team and quit resting on your laurels. use pieces and build off that success, recruit guys back. Make changes to your offensive scheme…

- If you were a parent of some 6’5 shooting genius, would you ask your kid to come to UK?

I think Hopkins will be a beast of a college player in time. If he were at, say, Kansas...he'd just develop nicely and by year 2-3 be an All Conference type dude, most likely.

So GD annoying. Dude should go to Houston.

Welp, this + Brooks likely gone at least opens the floor for my guy Toppin to finally be THE guy at his spot...hopefully he sticks around.

Especially when Hopkin's Dad specifically said their plan was at least 2 years at UK. It's one thing if a guy puts in 3 years at UK like Allen or Brooks, but 1 year, talent, didn't play and feel like he has to go is just brutal.

The players put so much stock in being an NBA pick in one year because of the b.s. narrative Cal embraced and promoted that they feel like a failure if they aren’t 1 and done. Or they fear that Cal will recruit or portal over them instead of developing them to their fullest potential. Cal’s recruiting pitch needs to change just as much as most everything else.

If Cal doesn't turn it around, and none of us have any reason to think that he will, and he sticks around another 4 or 5 years, he's going to go out as one of the most hated coaches in UK history.

And I'm going to go ahead and call it; Calipari is going to blow it with Wagner. And when that happens, it might be the last straw LOL. j/k - we all know that it WON'T be the last straw.

Allen, Brooks (he ain’t coming back, guys), TyTy, Hopkins, Davion, Grady, are all gone for certain. That’s 6. Oscar will likely bounce and who knows about Wheeler.

So, it’s possible that 8 off this squad are outta here. I mean, that’s not hyperbole. That’s a reasonable number, right? This is ridiculous. You can’t build/develop anything like this. This program is a farce. . . and year in/year out, it’s the norm.

Rip the bandaid off NOW!

I dont think that has anything to do with Hopkins leaving- he was committed for a couple of years, but just recognized how fast the ship was sinking and how much more opportunity he would have under a better coach at likely a better program.
