Clear the Palate Randoms:

- Coffee tastes better out of a ceramic mug than any other receptacle. They should make a portable mug out of ceramics instead of that Yeti metal stuff. They probably already do, but I'm a rube and don't know about it so they need to fix that.
Fellow Carter Everywhere Mug has a ceramic inside liner.

You're welcome.

We’ll pull out, someone will fart, and we’ll find out the windows are closed shut. And that’ll be the start of our awful journey.
We were on a bus to Minneapolis for the annual band trip back in the day when a kid took a dump in the restroom somewhere outside Chicago. Even the chaperones were yelling at him.

After all the stupid takes on this thread, this is the best take that has ever appeared. Coffee in plastic or metal receptacle has a chemical aftertaste. Well done, Strokin.

Can't wait to see what bespoke, small batch, artisan, hand crafted, vintage, farm-to-keurig, non-GMO, organic, gluten-free, masterfully curated, ethically sourced, direct to consumer phaggy monkey **** coffee mug brand that insufferable hoe moe rudd exclusively drinks out of.

-currently taking a **** in Santa fe...sadly I don't know anything about bespoke coffee mugs. At work I use the one the hr lady got me for Halloween a few years ago...it's monogrammed and has a pumpkin on it. At home...whichever I grab first.

-headed up the mountain to catch sunset.

^almost forgot: ead, pti.

I haven’t taken a test but this feels nothing like the rona, fortunately. Idk what it is but *******.

September of 2020 I had something similar and it wasn't Rona. 3-4 days of 102+ fever, did have an appetite, but just whipped. Took me another 5 days after that to get right. But if you do pass, I will carry on your hatred of JVC!

flavor as well

There’s a “Jerry’s” in Paris (Ky) —-
it may be the last one

I just call it Monday but that’s just me.

It’s probably the flu that’s been going around. It hasn’t gotten much run since Covid so it’s on a comeback tour. Hopefully you and everyone else can get better and back to normal. I’m stuck in bubble mode catching fish waiting on morels to keep from having the Joe B Hall revival tour ruining what’s left of my sanity and life.

So our almost 8 mo old has found her voice and literally screams every waking minute of the day. We are now going on 3 weeks of this.

Couple that with March madness and the fact that the wife and I haven’t had a real vacation in 3 years, I walk around all day feeling like I could go Will Smith on a complete stranger.
But . . . I think you may have mentioned once (?) . . . and correct me if I'm wrong . . but don't you live on Siesta Key?

That's my vacation spot, so isn't your life like a vacation?

Sold the house I had been living in for the last 7 years last week (with 15 days post occupancy after closing), closing on the house I purchased on Thursday of this week, and will be moving Thursday-Sunday.

Moving is a mofo, even though i feel like we are ahead of the game as ~75% of our stuff is already packed. Shew-wee. Hope my next move is to a retirement home.

If your kids are healthy, praise God and count your blessings…then remind yourself to stop bitching about them on a sports message board about them not sleeping and being kids.

Grief.

Yeah. We'd love to move but between the crazy housing market and the pain in the *** of moving, we keep putting it off.

I know, trust me inertia would have kept us where we were.

Got re-married in November, and wife and I had looked at several houses in November/January before we realized we shouldn't even be looking if we don't have our own house on the market, otherwise we are just wasting everyone's time, including our own.

Got my house (pretty much a starter house, a bi-level with 3BR/2.5 bath/2 car garage) de-cluttered and on the market, showed it for 2 days, received 8 offers and took the highest one, which was $25K over asking.

Found a house we really liked the very next night and had it under contract 2 days later.

Has been a rollercoaster since. First buyer backed out, but another bidder jumped in at $20K over our asking price before the day was even done. Actually had a defect in title in my property that was never found the other several times the property was transferred, but had a title insurance policy in place that covered it.

Has been stressful, but glad we are now less than 48 hours away from closing on the new house. Just one of those things that, a couple months from now, we'll be so glad we did it, but in the moment, we're thinking, "What the hell did we just do?"

Do you expect people that claim to be hardcore Christian to vote for gambling and pot?
If you are a Republican start voting for actual conservatives instead of people that use religion to seem conservative to the small minded populace

Acoording to my Christian marriage counselor(stop it) gambling and pot is fine and really a non issue, but what the real issue is stressing people out until they need to gambol or use pot. Those are the people to blame, not the users!

When I was young, I naively thought some of these old dbag losers in power would die off, and we could rely on our age group to do basic, no brainer ****, that the great majority of people want.

Never been more wrong about anything. I believe the “Christian” stranglehold on politics has actually gotten much worse.

As an actual Christian, the shysters running politics in the name of God in this country both embarrass and infuriate me.

Since we're being depressing on this page, a friend of mine dropped dead of a heart attack last night at 43. Life is painfully, horrifically short. GYEROers, especially of the male persuasion, please don't ignore "no big deal" health problems you're having. If your wife nags you to go to a doctor, for the love of God, go to the doctor and you can ***** at her after the doctor says you're okay.
