It’s inexplicable to see our scorers ***** up March after March after March.

How many others were wide open? How many were off balance or rushed? Barnes handed Cal his *** (again) with aggressive defense and Cal couldn't do squat to counter.
In reference to the lack of faith in Cal....
Somewhere along the way we stopped playing the way that made us elite and scary AF. We went away from playing outside-in and taking good early offense jumpers -- and started becoming more deliberate with specific sets to get Oscar more touches. As wonderful as Oscar has been (and he *has* been a revelation) I can't help but wonder if the pressure of a NPOY campaign possibly changed our team's real identity. We morphed from a creative ad-lib juggernaut-- to a 'throw it inside and watch' crapheap.
Our best basketball is when we have been running and allowing our guards to create --- and big O profiting off of their success as a result. Today? Our guards were hesitant and unsure. Top has become a wallflower.
The most recent offensive output (or lack thereof) is proof.
I've said it many times in regard to this squad; if our HOF coach would get out of his own way and let these kids play -- they could do some real effing damage.
Unfortunately, this couldn't have come at a worse time. There's no more margin for error. Hit 'reset' and get back to what got us here. If today is any indication, Cal needs to do some quick soul searching on who this team is. It's a shame too because it's a really good and super likeable roster.

TyTy seems off and not 100%, and Grady seems completely gassed. I truly think this week off and a good 1st round game will help us snap out of it. This team is so together and likeable, I’ve enjoyed this season immensely, and I have no interest in acting like a huge melancholy ***** this week. We’re making it out of the first weekend so that gives us a couple weeks to regain our rhythm with everyone at 100%, which has been like a month and the reason we’re out of sync. It’s been a long 3 years I’m enjoying this **** FFS. All you pussies can f*ck off

I’m still redassed, but this is our first tournament in what feels like a thousand years. I’m going to do my best to forget about today and start having irrational optimism. I desperately want to enjoy this tournament.
