Solid band… unfortunately, I’m booked.

*Inventing Anna is an A+ story with C- writing/acting. I watched it cause they pulled me in. Overall, I wish I hadn't. Just read up on it. The show is ****.

*Did anyone watch Stranger Things past season 2? I thought it should've just been one season. Wondering if it's worth revisiting.

*Scrubs is the best show made for mass consumption.

*Anybody seen Licorice Pizza? I love Paul Thomas Anderson, but this one hasn't really moved the needle for me.

*#TV/Movie Talk

*2016 dunk contest will never be touched. Aaron Gordon's seated dunk over the mascot is the best dunk in that contest of all time. Didn't we recruit him? Bummer..

*I used to hate Steph, but my god, what a generational talent. Granted, it was an all-star game, but that **** was nuts.

*Footballs, who should we be looking at for OC, and what do they bring to the table? What is their go-to play style?

*If we can lock down a 1 or 2 seed, all bets are off. Let's finish this out.

*Bought some new KEF bookshelf speakers. Finna hook em up and spin some tunes.

*I'm off today for our presidents or whatever.

*NBA TV is showing non-stop highlights from all star games. Without context of how ****** the actual games were, it's pretty entertaining.

*Did anybody else do well typing class and then just call it a day when they started teaching numbers/symbols? I can type very quickly, but if you need a numeral in that text, I'm hunting and pecking.

- Enjoying this second act of the Cal era.

- Steph is ununlikable. What other superstars fit that bill? Barry Sanders?
Maybe Joe Montana/Peyton Manning? Griffey?

- Hoping the tweak will be giving Grady more playmaking responsibility. Doesn’t need to be the primary but let the guy do a little more than run off screens.

- I don’t need any Covid in fiction. Just act like it never happened. I don’t need my favorite TV characters discussing masking.

Goodman is Goodman, but I actually like him a bit now.

He’s a stubborn douche like all the others, but always corrects himself eventually

@TheFieldof68 nightly CBB recap videos with he, Dauster, Gottlieb, Prohm, etc are good ****.

Kentucky a focus of damn near all of them. The one with the Grady team bus interview awhile back was spectacular

That Oscar article is something else, man. To leap into the fan favorite territory he's found isn't an easy feat. We're talking special air for a guy that's only been visible for like 8 months. I always though Huggins was a drunk, but at least a decent dude outside of that. How big of a f*cking c*cksucker do you have to be to attack a guy like Oscar?

“Every conversation we’ve had — me, Cal, Nate, everybody — it’s been about how we can get this done so Oscar can help his mom,” said T.J. Beisner, who oversees all things NIL for UK basketball. “The urgency hasn’t been about getting him a cool car or new clothes, although he certainly deserves those things. It was about creating an avenue to take care of his family and help people back home.”

To that end, Tshiebwe was delighted to reveal to The Athletic on Monday that the wheels are now in motion to get his mother to the U.S. in time to watch him play in the NCAA Tournament.

“I’m so thankful to God, I don’t even know what to say. I’m just excited,” Tshiebwe said. “That means a lot to me. When I see my mom, I’ll probably cry like a baby. To be able to do this and help my mom is one of the best things in my life. I’ve come from a long way away and always try to find a way to take care of my family, and now God has opened the doors.”

“I tell her if she’ll be there, I’ll probably drop like 50 and 30,” he said, laughing. “I tell my teammates if my mama is there and they pass me the ball, if it touches my hands, it’s not going back.”

“I love that his mom is going to get to see all this now. I don’t think she understands the impact Oscar has at Kentucky, on college basketball, on the world, really. It’s going to be an incredible story, an incredible opportunity, for her to see that during March Madness. That has always been a huge part of this for him.”
