That was fantastic. Blue doing their thing is amazing. Goose bumps.

It’s so good to have this feeling again. Finally beating a big name, highly ranked team AND on the road. Let’s go Cal, we know you love this and this is why you came here.

Was at the amphitheater watching a show but was really watching the game on my phone. My friends were like wtf is wrong with you there is live music? I’m like we all have priorities guys and this is way bigger a deal.

Big Adams Morgan fan, unfortunately waiting on my Uber and heading to Dupont Circle to meet a buddy in town. MFer trying to bar hop in Navy Yard, that's where I draw the line.

Also...Old Town Alexandria > Anywhere in DC
Love Old Town. 😍

It’s been 8 years since I lived in DC. We had an apartment on N and Wisconsin.

Someone posted earlier in the week that Oscar's ~1.3 SPG is very underrated and they are right. Man is incredibly aggressive on entry passes and when hedging screens.

I was more impressed with our defense tonight for a litany of reasons. Don't even feel like we played that well offensively. Also don't feel Kansas is a top 5 team.

None of what I posted above really matters, we just wire to wired KU at Phog Allen and would have done the same to AU last week were it not for injury. Bilas is right, we legit.
Who IS legit top five so far this year? That’s the question. Zags? Outside of them and their weak *** schedule I bet money that top five changes rapidly this year. Auburn, Baylor, Purdue, UCLA are all really good but for sure top 5, nah. I don’t trust Arizona at all.

Even before this game and seeing how we played against LSU and Auburn in LOSSES I knew we were legit. We kept it close with them without our best players the majority of the game.

I think this squad is (at full strength and health) 50/50 at least against any other team home, away or neutral.

Legit top 5 with/without bias and without consideration to losses.

Gonzaga
Auburn
Baylor
UK
Duke

I only include Duke because regardless of NBA Draft projections Banchero is the legit best player in college basket ball and that matters.

I dig that. I could argue for all of those. As I said Gonzaga will remain due to schedule(they should really upgrade even if it’s just basketball but why would they?) the rest will come and go besides auburn I think will stay.

Duke will have some more losses for sure, I don’t know about Baylor (besides KU) and us.

We will lose again but not against anyone not named Auburn, Alabama or Tennessee.

I really don’t think we’ll be outside the top ten the rest of the way.

I’m some weird nonsensical world I feel like Cal will unleash Sharpe on the world during MM but in my brain I know he’s never going to even dribble a ball for UK.

When healthy and not wasting possessions with horrible lineup combinations, the Kentucky Wildcats the are the best team this season.
Our shot chart was **** tonight. Too many long 2s. It doesn't matter that we made most of them. They could have been 3 attempts. Kind of negates the victory in my eyes.

Wow. I saw a video on bleacher report on IG showing a sick goal but it was in Canada and there were no fans. I jokingly said, “And these Canadian pussies have no fans to see it.”

Instantly removed from IG. Jesus Christ. It could’ve been a game with low attendance and it would’ve been no big deal, but Covid and 💥 gone. I don’t even get it anymore, can’t say nothing.

Enjoy the win boys and girls, I’ve got a hundo on the UT game with a UT fan down here, going to collect that money I lost from the football game.

Yup. Unfortunately defenses don't always allow superior quality shots. So best to take a solid shot that comes within the flow of the offense. We've been doing that and, as a result, we have one of the best offenses in the country.

1st time since '15 Wisconsin my son asked to watch a game with me. Didn't disappoint.

Dropped him off after and hit a couple local bars. 3 am was my lat text saying "get up here, queef!" Where "here" is, I don't remember. That's the best part of the cult, no driving.

KU can eat a bag of human dog ****.

Watching the game again and actually noticed during in game.

May have been discussed here during in game.

No context but Cal and Chin had some back and forth first noticed just after the Keion assist to Oscar at the 9:38 mark.

With these types of outcomes, they can altercate all they want!

- I’m all for assistants challenging Cal in game. I’m not completely confident in his game management as a whole so the people with the balls to chime in the better!

- I watched the 1991 UK@LSU game last night as I couldn’t sleep. Two things came to mind:

1- If you a LSU as your second team kind of guy then you should really go back to the days of Dale Brown. I hated that MFer and would never in my life adopt them as my 2nd favorite SEC team just because of the hate he instilled.

2- I hate doing comparisons, but Mashburn would be to me the best comparison for Banchero. Inside/outside mid range and passing plus their defensive ability and the fact they legit look different on the court than most of the other 9 guys. Like it’s obvious and clear those 2 are/were the guy on the court to watch.

- Been a rough few days for me as my stepdad passed away. I don’t remember for sure but I believe my last post including anything about him was New Years when he shoved so much toilet paper in the bathroom sink and left the water running so long it flooded our basement.

Regardless of dementia induced mistakes, he lived with us 22 months, and just 2 days after I got home from COVID Pneumonia, we had Hosparus to the house to evaluate as per my wife he legit has 6-12 months and that when Hosparus steps in and can be huge help.

Well, the evaluate him and proceed to tell us he has 2 weeks to live, and he made it 1 week at their facility. Surreal honestly as the move we made in July and the pool we put in was partly motivated by him being with us at least 2 years and providing the space needed and the pool was always his favorite exercise.

Now he is gone. Like my mom last year in the moment it is a relief as the dementia wasn’t allowing his body to function like it should. When doctors tell you it’s a steady plateau’d decline until then end where it’s just a nosedive to the end, they aren’t lying! The last two months every week was like a year in decline compared to the previous 7 years!

- UK when clicking is a sight to see! This squad has IT.

Key to the season: Call out any picks for Wheeler because that kid has no defensive vision at all and hasn’t seen a pick coming the whole season.

- We already landing studs for the next class, have mercy Stoops!

- My heart says Cinci/SF today, but KC/LA is the ratings pick and smart play.

- Distillery update: We crushed site visit. Onto 2/9 and Ag Review board where the people against us get to voice their concerns. I have half a mind to file for DSP tomorrow to speed that up because the haters can’t stop fate!

Booker was it you with a family member that has a ton of cooking experience, or some kind of mash bill/product knowledge?

~In the span of a bit more than a month, we prison-shanked UNC, Tennessee, and Kansas. I'm here for it...

~Domination at the Phog. Kansas led for 1:13 of the game, and it's largest lead was 3pts. Kentucky led for 37:56 of the 40mins.

~Bama is such a hard team to handicap. Wins against Gonzaga, Houston, and Baylor with inexplicable losses sprinkled in to Iona, Memphis, Davidson, Mizzou, and Georgia. No doubt we get their best shot next Saturday...

~Wouldn't suprirse me if 3 teams in the SEC sneak into the E8 this year. Underrated quality in our league --> pure athleticism.

~Already pissed that Gonzaga will snatch a 1-seed because of its garbage conference. The other 9 WCC teams have a combined average NET ranking of 149. FOH...2-seed should be the ceiling.

~Keion was the best version of himself yesterday. Dude could average 15ppg just letting the offense come to him. He's the worst verison of himself when he tries to insert himself into the game.

~5 teams that can realistically cut down the nets in March (err, April) (in no order):

1) Kentucky
2) Auburn
3) Duke
4) Purdue
5) Gonzaga

~LFG!
