Oh, you mean like during the Holidays when you got your 3rd summer and some bonus pool time on Christmas?

The 90's had a few Best Picture nominees that should've beaten the winner.

Goodfellas over Dances With Wolves.
Shawshank or Pulp Fiction over Forrest Gump.
Saving Private Ryan or Life Is Beautiful over Shakespeare in Love.
Any of the other nominees over American Beauty.
Boogie Nights or Good Will Hunting or LA Confidential over Titanic.

Apollo 13 over Braveheart

Fargo over The English Patient

Can't wait for Vern to break down all these same movies again next month. And the next month. And the next month. And the next month.

Just wait until I break down your mom

Chump
Go suck off the coach from Friday Night Lights, Chump!

I rather liked American Beauty, at the time at least. Don’t know how well it’s stood up over the past 22 years or so. The high school chick Kevin Spacey lusted after was . He should have tagged her when he had the chance.

* Getting really sick and tired of people shitting on Dances With Wolves and Kevin Costner. Clean it up.

* January 6 wouldn't even register for me if not for the media attention. It was a dark, disgusting day in American history, and only the fringiest of lunatics are responsible or condoning of that nonsense. No need to bring it back up. Move along.

* Took the dog for a 4-degree walk this morning, with a few fresh powdery inches of snow on the ground. Seasons, y'all.

* Wan'Dale enters a select category of former Kentucky athletes that only gave us 1 year, but will forever be a legend and a hero amongst the faithful.

- Anthony Davis
- John Wall
- Michael Kidd-Gilchrist

* Top 5 Kevin Costner movies:

1> Bull Durham
2> Dances With Wolves
3> Field of Dreams
4> Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves
5> No Way Out

* Not really crazy about all the love Lance Ware is getting from KSR and John Calipari. Guy makes me really nervous when he's in the game. He's basically our version of a hockey goon.

* Giving Peaky Blinders another shot. I think I've watched the first 2 episodes at least 3 times before, but trying the old modern english subtitle trick as well.

* I'm not really happy about the way this schedule is playing out. Georgia is absolutely terrible, and should be an easy W, but damn -- we don't really get a break for a while.

* Top 5 Jewish Drs:

1> Dr Rosenpenis
2> Dr Rosen
3> Dr Rosenrosen
4> Dr Rosenbach
5> Dr Rosenbaum

* Is there another UK-centric website that can do a REAL "where are they now?"

Dominique Ferguson
Michael Avery
Darnell Dodson
Mokakinyo Williams
Michael Porter
Matt Pilgrim
Vinny Zollo

* American Beauty was fantastic, and every 40-something red-blooded male should sympathize with Kevin Spacey's character.

-Tomorrow the twins turn 18. Can’t count how many times during my marriage I thought when they turn 18 I’m out. Wonder if anybody actually does that?

-My favorite time was when they were age 3-12. Those 9-10 years where the best of my life. So you folks enjoy the roller coaster. You’ll miss it when it’s time to get off.

-I see a Final Four caliber squad when I look at this bball team. After a few of these teams we’ve been forced to watch I’m actually enjoying the group a great deal. They don’t whine/complain every call and they compete as a unit.

-It’s insane Oscar can’t make NIL $. Our government makes some really dumb decisions.

Wynn and 80.. Don’t get too crazy and smoke the refer and then make some online sports bets.

I think you’d be better suited wasting a bunch of money on some scratch offs and then getting hammered on some Senator Bourbon. Maybe make a pit stop at Red Mile later today, sit in a some smoke filled ******** and pull the lever on some HHR slot machines.

American Beauty has not stood the test of time. B+ movie at best. Kevin Costner is an average actor at best. Quit talking about him like he's Robert Duvall. If he was an 80s NBAer, he'd be Fat Lever. Solid player but not a perennial all-star.

Did you have to finance it for 5 years OR join the Best Buy yearly club?

What a crock of ****.
I have had a PlayStation account for years, and got a random email from Sony asking if I wanted to sign up for a chance to order one directly from them. I did and about a month later got another email with a window of time to buy one. Even that wasn’t a guarantee, but I logged on at the beginning of the window, waited about 20 minutes and was able to get one.

It’s crazy that you still have to jump through hoops like that. But I do think it might be the first time in my life that customer loyalty actually paid off.

- How great was that Toppin to Grady action for 3 the other night? Toppin still needs a lot of work but man he has some flashes.

- My crypto-bro BIL has made over half a mil on Helium now - basically mini wireless networks on your house.

- “Lucas” featured the greatest slow clap of all-time.

I’ll beat anybodys *** in NCAA football 2003 (or maybe it was 04?). Had some serious battles on south limestone playing that bad boy. There was one team that was unstoppable because they were so fast that you weren’t allowed to choose, I keep thinking it was Miami.
