But you did need to seek validation on the GD internet for not caring about what you wear.

:flush:

Today might be the first time in recorded history that I hope we don't blow a team out. A gentlemanly 14 point win where High Point gets it down to single digits once or twice and Cal talks about High Point being the best competition we've had since South Bend will do just fine.

Tubby was looking fly last night. Other than that hideous shirt with a collar that was a different color he wore back in the day, Orlando has always dressed his *** off in an understated manner. Compared to Cal, it is night and day. In the words of SAE, dude always looks baronial.
How is me saying/recommending to buy cheaper 1/2 priced clothes seeking validation? 🤣you’re dumb hank and I’m sorry it’s so difficult for you.

And yeah I don’t wear whatever camo abomination that was you posted. I have a few pairs of their shorts which are solid gray. Now my gym shoes are neon yellow and bright pink but that’s just because I’m not scared to dress however I want. It’s called self esteem, confidence and not caring if Hank Camacho from the internet thinks it’s “gay”.

~Congrats to Tubby....Hank said it perfectly. Had some nice conversations w/ him during his time here. He and Joe B are perfect examples of class before coaching. Too bad both were shown the door in the fashion that took place.

~Miracle Whip is on the Mt. Rushmore of condiments. Those who don't like it probably hate puppies as well, or are just stupid.

~Wings, Lagunitas (that is great beer for you piss water drinkers) and queso on tap for the afternoon. Filets, McKenna 10 and a nice Barolo for tonight.

~May 2022 bring some common sense to the liberals and we get this country back on track.

Game notes:

- John-Michael Wright is not a caucasian, which is actually kind of disappointing. Just kind of assumed.

- Scouting report: NO LEFT HAND DRIVES!! 🤮 🤮

- Saul Smith update: was interviewed on the pre-game show by Goose and Buzz. There's ya answer, BTI.

- Nobody likes the early game, but when it's the most boring matchup on the schedule, I actually love it. Get it out of the way before your day really gets started.

- 10am mountain, so I'm catching this one with pajamas and coffee

- Black people have a lot of cousins.

For as good as he is at grabbing rebounds Oscar is shockingly bad at holding on to entry passes and oops.

High Point was playing really good until we just overwhelmed them.

We have too many sloppy turnovers.

Grady with the sneaky athletic dunk there was nice.

Appreciate the clean game with only 7 fouls called total.

I know there was friction when tubby left but does anyone know any specifics about what happened behind the scenes? Only thing I ever heard was he was asked to change his asst coaches.

He wasn’t going to land Patrick Patterson after years of misses on Brandon Wright type forwards.

I know there was some other things but that was apart of it on UK’s side.

We still had guard play, but he lost post players to transfers etc and only had a half *** Randolph Morris a JR year because of some BS fax the office folks found.

I know today is a Tubby love fest and congrats to him, but he left under intense pressure because he couldn’t recruit anymore. The Rondo/Morris/Crawford class was his last hurrah.

His final recruiting class was Jodie Meeks (legit), Derrick Jasper (legit), Perry Stevenson, Razor Ramon, Michael Porter, and Mark Coury. The year before was Jared Carter, Rekalin Sims, and Adam Williams. And lest we forget Woo, NBA Shooting Guard Bobby Perry, Shagari Safari, and Sheray.

Mattox and I drove enthusiastically to Chicago to watch Tubby’s final game vs Kansas. Even took a celebratory photo when it ended.

With that said, congrats to Tubby! Happy for him. He won us a Championship. Can’t take that away.

Just think of where we were a year ago…a section of the fan base tried to will Calipari getting fired. We couldn’t make an open shot to save our lives. We were extremely young.

Cal went out and got the god squad transfer goons and a couple of snipers. WATTBA.

The fan base was pissed, and rightfully so. But most of us — probably 99% — just wanted him to make some serious changes, players and coaches. And he did.

That he did. You can see the actual change in mentality in recruiting and on the court. It’s refreshing to see a coach be willing to change. We’ve had that with Stoops and Cal.

I will eat my crow

i didn’t think the stubborn greaseball would change. Even after he brought in O and chin. Early season had some ugly games that were a chore to watch and it felt the same.

tempo is up and so is my confidence. I don’t even know where the final four is but I’m about to find out and book a hotel
