From the depths of the killa to the top, we're now born
Wildin' on Staten Island be the poet John John
Can't forget Digi; if I did, I'd feel gyp
Like my sandwich ain't a sandwich without Miracle Whip

How many people in Tubby’s position would have made that exit as graceful and amicable? Not many. No lawsuits, no middle fingers, then or after.

If I lived in or close to Lexington I would buy a ticket and go give the dude a standing ovation myself. Some great memories from that run, even if we missed out on opportunities in March (after 98’).

- Got the Cats by 4 NYD in a grinder with Levis the MVP despite relatively modest stats.

- Bama by 24 and Michigan by 2.

- San Francisco gets a bad rep deservedly but out here in the burbs sure seems like a good place to grow up - as I’m sure 73 can attest. Of course, it helps if you can afford a damn house. You’ve got $200k houses out here going $1.2M 30 minutes from The City.

- Had a pour of Bakers with dinner and have been working a Buffalo Trace shelfer. Very happy with each.

- Father-in-law is a vodka martini guy and he makes a good one. Could see it becoming a regular drink for me at some point.

- Did something to my back- probably a combination of being old, flights, picking up youngsters, etc. In desperation, went to the chiropractor for some cracking and acupuncture. I don’t know if it’s quackery or not but seemed to work, and was worth it for the way I can now rotate my neck alone.

- Tubby’s day has brought back a wave of nostalgia. 1998 was my freshman year, and Final 4 weekend still stands as one of the greatest weekends of my life. Although largely disappointing, had dozens of wonderful times in the Tubby era. Some off the top of my head:

Watching live in Freedom Hall has Mu reverse dunked on Indiana.

The Maryland game in Rupp - an absolute banger.

Tayshaun’s 5 of course.

Blowing out #1 Florida in Rupp 2003.

Watching Sparks go nuts in the second half against Louisville with Killa in my ****** Mt. Adams apartment.

The 2003 SEC Tournament in New Orleans.

The Rondo Experience.

Those mid-00s SEC Tournaments with the crew.

I've lived in every area of the US except for the Pacific NW, and Bay Area Californians, along with Boston meat-heads are the most obnoxious, and out of touch assh0les I've ever been around. (Columbus Ohio/OSU fans are a close second)

That said, from Big Sur to Napa, is stunning to look at.

I don’t doubt it but don’t have the experience to comment. I only know my BIL and his husband, originally from small town South Carolina. I was just commenting on the feel of the area.

How many Browns fans do you know? I know one and he is ashamed of himself for being one.

Dickheads? Steeler fans!

i’m a steeler fan and confirm we’re all ok

i’ve known one Browns fan and she had a long, willowy body and gorgeous wide spaced blue eyes. — Jessica....fellow enlisted troop at vandenberg afb — she was so naturally erotic you didn’t even want to leer or rush the “other thoughts” that would quickly arise regarding her —

so i always start there when we hear “cleveland browns”

generally feel sorry for bengals fans - kind of liked couple of their 80s teams

patriots and ravens fans can DIAF

flesh light

Surprised Miracle Whip vs Mayo is getting such a run. Always thought MW was Mayo plus the sugar?

I can be ok with MW on a tuna salad as the sweetness offsets the tart tuna, but other than that it’s a hard pass.

“You know what’s weird? In Europe they dip fries in Mayo! I’ve seen ‘em do it, they drown em in that ****”. - Vincent Vega

Give me Cinci to cover +13.5 and UGA to cover the -7.5.

Every kid we own is having friends over tonight. Who knows what the plan is as I’m sure there will be plenty of Video Games, board games etc. Pizza seems to fit with 20+ kids of all ages.

New Years morning though it’s on! Biggest breakfast I’ll have ever made! Steaks, Sausage, Bacon, biscuits and eggs and probably a few cantaloupe! I guess gravy for the kids and maybe some Cracker Barrel pancakes too…..who knows! UK at 1 and several from the neighborhood stopping by too so I’m stoked!

The ingredients in Miracle Whip are:
mustard flour, water, soybean oil, paprika, high fructose corn syrup, eggs, vinegar, modified cornstarch, salt, natural flavor, dried garlic, the preservative potassium sorbate, and spice…

Whoever invented this should be shot dead. But the bigger question is, ‘why’?

A good mayo, is versatile and clean tasting. From my only MW experience as a kid, Ricky Koffler’s mom effed-up a simple tuna fish sandwich. Tasted like paste and chemicals.

never heard one chef introduce an alternative ‘Miracle Whip’ aoli… KewPie Japanese mayo is the jumping point for many good recipes. Dukes for summertime potato salad or slaws.

Vols fans remind me of Cleveland Browns fans. Complete and utter dickheads.
-Better to be a dickhead than a trashy bengals fan with cargo shorts/jorts, white NBs and backwards hats, just my opinion anyway. 😉

-Got up at 4 to murder my legs with the last workout of the year and to get the vehicle packed up for the drive home before Bball game—>CFP tonight, a full day of fantastic sports 🤗 . Doubt there will be many dry eyes at the ball game this afternoon.

Anyone else going?"

Crazy I don’t need an alarm or anything to get up at 4. Just wake up let the pup out and start getting ready no problem. I’m sure not drinking certainly helps.

-Ordered some new gym gear since they’re basically giving it away at most places for 1/2 price right now. It’s a needed update and always gives me a little motivation to get to the gym.

And no it’s not GYMSHARK or Lulu, I don’t need to let you know what brand I’m wearing. Actually prefer clothes that don’t show/barely show the brand in all types of apparel.

-ECHT shorts
-Fabletics joggers/hoodies
-Whatever the touch TS-IO-DFO shoes are, love ‘em though. Sorry @rudd1 I’m sure they’re from china, I should do better.
-CockyKW Hat/beanie
-Bright colored socks from Amazon

-Speaking of beanies, who else grew up calling them toboggans? I know/knew the difference but that’s what myself and everyone around me called them. Go anywhere else and they look at you like you were just concussed.

-Big Plans tonight, watch fball with the folks after the game and bed directly after. Not a NYE person at all. As has been said a million times, too crowded, annoying door covers that aren’t there the day before/after, youngsters that are housed by 9 and spilling drinks. Just not my thing, probably least favorite holiday.

I’ll love most all other major holidays.

-“Resolution” for next year that started on 12/1/21 is to grow these legs, especially quads/calves. maybe this will be the year my calves actually look like an adult’s. 🤷🏼‍♂️

I have envy/respect for powerlifters like pretz, I just can’t bring myself to do it because so many of the old bloods at gyms tell you they wish they didn’t go so heavy when they were younger because their joints are worn out and they can’t do what they’d like to be able to. All a matter of perspective and correct form but I really hope/plan on being in the gym lifting when I’m 70+.

-Happy New Year’s Eve folks!

i ate at P Deans place in savannah once (or Tybee Isl. maybe?) — and it was awfully good

played at a new years party in savannah once - place was below street level and you took a small elevator down to the sprawling 4-5 rooms

they had a WW2 themed thing and that can be an awfully promising look on a woman

have any of you guys ever accidentally stumbled upon/caught someone else rutting and shagging at it ?

My now wife had to pay for supper on our first date bc she had never heard the word toboggan used as a beanie. She said it was a sled. She was confident the waiter would agree with her. He didn’t. She was floored. I crushed later that night.

I don’t need to let you know what brand I’m wearing.
But you did need to seek validation on the GD internet for not caring about what you wear.

:flush:

Today might be the first time in recorded history that I hope we don't blow a team out. A gentlemanly 14 point win where High Point gets it down to single digits once or twice and Cal talks about High Point being the best competition we've had since South Bend will do just fine.

Tubby was looking fly last night. Other than that hideous shirt with a collar that was a different color he wore back in the day, Orlando has always dressed his *** off in an understated manner. Compared to Cal, it is night and day. In the words of SAE, dude always looks baronial.

I love Miracle Whip. I did grow up in a double wide on a Dairy Farm though.

I have a good income and occupation as an engineer now. I still can’t shake a fried bologna sandwich with MW, always good.

are you an electrical engineer or manufacturing type engineer?
something else maybe -

curious which industry too -

~Congrats to Tubby....Hank said it perfectly. Had some nice conversations w/ him during his time here. He and Joe B are perfect examples of class before coaching. Too bad both were shown the door in the fashion that took place.

~Miracle Whip is on the Mt. Rushmore of condiments. Those who don't like it probably hate puppies as well, or are just stupid.

~Wings, Lagunitas (that is great beer for you piss water drinkers) and queso on tap for the afternoon. Filets, McKenna 10 and a nice Barolo for tonight.

~May 2022 bring some common sense to the liberals and we get this country back on track.
