Going to that game last night also showed me how far we’ve come in the Gameday atmosphere department. I remember a time when they had as good of an atmosphere, if not better, than us.
Our tailgating, the music and audio in the stadium, the crowd actually standing up and cheering when we’re on defense (granted their fans really had no chance to do it)…. We’re just in a completely different world from them at this point.

Pay Stoops and Marrow. It's never been this consistently good since Bear, and they built it from nothing.
A Power 5 school winning 7 games in a 12-game schedule isn’t terribly impressive, to be quite honest, but we’ve won half our SEC games over the past 6 seasons. And 2022 and beyond looks every bit as promising.

UKO is a dicklicking dolt.
We play three scrub schools a year plus Vandy. So basically we have 8 real games + a bowl game. We went 5-3 this year, 4-5 in 2019, and 6-3 in 2018. I think that's pretty solid.
How is UKO today?

Does krazy know what the word "mediocre" means? UK football finished the season in spectacular fashion. We had a stretch in the middle that was somewhat mediocre.

We're going to have to agree to disagree on this. Physicality is the issue. It's the main issue. To paraphrase James Bond author Ian Fleming (if the internet is to be believed): Once is happenstance, twice is coincidence, three times is a trend.
The reason that Malik Cunningham, who has run on just about everyone this season, didn't have a run for longer than 9 yards, is that Kentucky's defensive players were better, faster, stronger than the offense that was trying to go against them.

I remember feeling completely hopeless against Louisville around 03-06. I’d imagine lville fans feel the same way today.

Not sure of Stoops’ current family living situation, but it seems that would play a pretty important part.
If stoops were to leave, who would be your first call? Before this year, I would have called Gundy to see if he wants to coach in SEC (small % chance) or now maybe Chadwell at CC?

Good point. FWIW, Ryan Lemond mentioned before that his kids no longer live in Lexington. Not sure if that’s true, but that is significant.
I, too, think a coach’s family situation is an important factor when considering a new job.

Yes, it’s pretty much a lock. Google “Mark Stoops” and you’ll see his name all over that job, and it’s only been open 30 minutes.
