The first UK basketball game I ever went to was in Knoxville against UT. Rex Chapman was playing. UT fans threw toilet paper on the court after the first 3 baskets UT made. The first time an absolute ton of toilet paper. The third, just a few rolls. They didn't even stop the game for the third, Rex threw one off the court while he was dribbling the ball up court. My point is, this is in UT's nature.

Q: Why do UT fans wear orange?

A: So they can go the game on Saturday, go hunting on Sunday, and pick up trash on Monday.

They can’t help themselves, it’s in their DNA.

A disgruntled fan threw a beer on the field in the 3rd quarter of the Purdue walloping of Iowa. A Purdue offensive lineman poured it all over his face while drinking it. If you’re kicking their *** you might as well drink their beer.
No one tell White Wayne Emmert. The NCAA will probably suspend the kid for drinking on the sideline.

Drummond made a good point on Twitter last night: this is our society now. We’re a bunch of caged animals that have been rereleased into the wild. It was UT last night, but **** like this can happen anywhere at anytime. Hopefully, not to the level we saw from those ne’erdowells in Knoxville -they’re professionals - but all it takes is a quick scroll through Old Row or NFL Twitter to realize the level of depravity humans of all ages and social backgrounds have descended to.

Was able to watch the The Closer with DC this morning. Just kept thinking he’s the best at his craft. What a gift to have. LOL’d the majority of the time.

And this is why they take the caps from the waters at all NCAA Tournament games. (So that the water you throw will be empty by the time it reaches the court?) But it really just causes people to spill water everywhere, especially if you buy more than one. I always bring water bottle caps in my purse.

I mean you know this stuff has happened before, right?

For centuries humans would gather in very large numbers to watch people (men) fight to their death.

I’d be willing to bet if the chance presented itself we would sell out any stadium in the world again for the same content

I was at the last game at Cleveland Stadium before the Browns left town and I saw some things. Things involving explosives tossed on the field, demolition type stuff.

Nah, don't give them any benefit, UT fans are trash. Very much like IU fans.

I was at the Bengals-Giants game at the Meadowlands in ‘08 and two Giants fans got into a fist fight in our row. The winner “exploded” the nose of the loser with one punch.

This was just before H1N1 had really come on the “public” scene. But it’s seroprevalence was probably out there. It’s just a pattern at this point, unfortunately.

Holy poop. I feel like complete ***.

We sat at the same bar from 11:30 until we walked over for the game.

I struck up a conversation with a UGA fan and he told me he works for Raymond (warehouse equipment provider and service). We talked business and I told him we are opening a warehouse in Savanah next year...he paid our tab. $275. Good consolation prize for losing.

Game was awesome. Seats were great. Hit a bar or 2 afterwards to celebrate. Debating on staying for the game today too. #whynot?

Drummond made a good point on Twitter last night: this is Bernie’s life now. He’s a caged animal that has been released into the wild. It was the Braves game last night, but **** like this can happen anywhere at anytime. Hopefully, not to the level we saw from this ne’erdowell in Atlanta — he’s a professional — but all it takes is a quick scroll thru his Facebook and Instagram to realize the level of depravity he has descended to.

I take a more measured view on UT fans in this situation. Lane destroyed their program. Set them back 12 years and counting. Plus he’s a smug ******* who was kind of talking **** to them. He’s lucky they didn’t attack him on the field. Had I been a UT fan, I wouldn’t have been involved in this unruly behavior, but it would have made me smile a little.
