The first UK basketball game I ever went to was in Knoxville against UT. Rex Chapman was playing. UT fans threw toilet paper on the court after the first 3 baskets UT made. The first time an absolute ton of toilet paper. The third, just a few rolls. They didn't even stop the game for the third, Rex threw one off the court while he was dribbling the ball up court. My point is, this is in UT's nature.

It was UT last night, but **** like this can happen anywhere at anytime. I was at the Bengals-Giants game at the Meadowlands in ‘08 and two Giants fans got into a fist fight in our row. The winner “exploded” the nose of the loser with one punch.

This was just before H1N1 had really come on the “public” scene. But it’s seroprevalence was probably out there. It’s just a pattern at this point, unfortunately.

We sat at the same bar from 11:30 until we walked over for the game.

I struck up a conversation with a UGA fan and he told me he works for Raymond (warehouse equipment provider and service). We talked business and I told him we are opening a warehouse in Savanah next year...he paid our tab. $275. Good consolation prize for losing.

Game was awesome. Seats were great. Hit a bar or 2 afterwards to celebrate. Debating on staying for the game today too. #whynot?

He’s lucky they didn’t attack him on the field. Had I been a UT fan, I wouldn’t have been involved in this unruly behavior, but it would have made me smile a little.
