I didn't say a word for a year - but the dude is getting a little out of hand lately.

Honest question, do you have a PCP, or do doctors mostly monitor themselves? Because, like, you may want a second opinion on your diet and its correlation to heart health, blood pressure, BMI, life expectancy, etc.

I agree with Llama. This is a difficult draft to pick busts, but every draft in history has shown us that there will be some. Recently, there seems to be guys drafted between 10-15 who are better than guys taken between 5-10. In latest mock drafts, guys like Bouknight and Wagner are going in that 6-10 range. Davion Mitchell will be a better pro than both of them.
I also see Kai Jones going over Isaiah Jackson in most mocks. That will be a mistake. There will be a ton of good players at the top of the second round such as Dosumnu, JT Thor and Josh Christopher. The Bucks have the first pick of the second round. They could add a solid rotational piece who could contribute right away.
The Thunder also have 2 early second round picks. I bet Boston ends up there. I'm wishing the kid well. He seems focused and poised to keep improving, like most Cal guys.
As for the #1 pick, I think Green will be a star as well but Cunningham is a perfect fit for the Pistons. They had a solid draft last year with Bey, Stewart and Killian Hayes, who was injured most of the year but played well late. They even snagged Saban Lee in the second round who proved to be serviceable. Jerami Grant proved to be much better than expected. Josh Jackson and Hami Diallo even played well. They have a solid, proven coach in Dwayne Casey. Cunningham will be the piece that brings it all together.

Going to St. Elmo's Saturday night, will probably get a ribeye and some type of potato, and have an enjoyable meal.

If Pat’s steakhouse got it’s act together it could be the St Elmo’s of Louisville.
Pat’s still has a a cool atmosphere but it needs to be refreshed some and the grub could be upgraded.

It does not. The place is dope as hell. The food is just ok. That little upstairs bar is awesome.

My one dining experience at Pat's was bad enough to ensure I will never return. $60 steak on par with Outback. No thanks.
I typically only trust the Steak House ratings that are found in airplane catalogs. Same with plastic surgeons.

I’ll just say my experiences at Anth’s have involved one of the better homemade burgers I’ve ever had and a consistently elite selection of pizza rolls.

The one steak I had from Pat's tasted like it was a Melton's choice cooked in boiling water. Zero flavor.
I went to Ruby’s in Lexington 3 weeks ago with my big shot buddy and must say it was great. What did I order?
We got oysters, crab cocktail, I got a lobster tail and a delicious salad. That’s right, I literally didn’t even think about ordering a steak, as I didn’t feel like being uncomfortably full and falling asleep at 10PM. Steaks are great about 3 times a year. The cigar/cognac experience outside was the best part though frankly.

If a place that is too stubborn to just increase prices the 3% needed to cover credit cards, they're not not going to do what's needed to fix that place. Which is a lot. If you're decor is outdated but you pump out great food, it's cool. Del Frisco's was dingy, dark, outdated, fried every appetizer into oblivion but still put the best choice graded steak I've had. Jack Fry's in nostalgic, Pat's is a dump.
I love steakhouses, obviously. Mainly because I enjoy group dinners. I get why some don't, but I don't mind a 3 hour meal, with a solid group of friends. In most cases, steakhouses accommodate that style dinning better than the rest. We go maybe once every other month. During BB season(non covid) or road trips, more. When it's just us we almost never pick a steakhouse. Have no idea how Bob eats 2-3 steaks a week, that's crazy talk. Equivalent to weekly chicken breast consumption for me. Learn how to cook some other ****, IMO.
The reals know the best meals at Casa de Schem are apart of the tailgates. Beef drip sambos and spicy sausage cheese dip headline the tour de force on each season's spread.

And the rest of the menu reads like a Western KY diner -- absolutely nothing wrong with that UNLESS you bill yourself *** THE classic Louisville Steakhouse, and charge those prices,
All dinners include 2 sides: House Salad, Green Beans, Baby Lima Beans, Creamed Cauliflower, Hash Browns, Sweet Potato Fries, Baked Potato, French Fries

I also don’t eat much other red meat. I prefer it in its purest form. If I’m doing the shopping, typical week day menu consists of meat and veggies. Chicken, salmon, shrimp, steak, pork is my usual rotation.
Do love our quarterly business dinners. Been some of the best Covid era memories. Private rooms at Ruby’s are so choice.

.We grilled a flat iron steak the other night. Marinaded in Lee & Perrins, applied a chili lime rub, 4 1/2 minutes on each side on 450.
Sliced it up for steak tacos with pico, Kirkland (ELITE) shredded cheese and hot sass. Fiyah.

I dk if cal has covid but I was up close to him about a month ago at one of the youth camps and dude looked extremely frail. He’s obviously lost weight but he looked so small and fragile. Granted it doesn’t help that I’m a giant fat *** oaf, but still. Was kinda alarming.
