Just turned on Grammys and saw some large black women perform “wet *** *****” and I’ve never felt older

If your pimphand isn't strong enough to keep stupid *** awards shows off of the television in your presence, that's on you, Ron.

Unless Ricky Gervais is emceeing, why?

- Got some kind of gross head cold. Went and got the old Covid test yesterday and I am awaiting results. It's been a year since I have been sick since I have worked from home and not eaten out. Not getting sick was nice, but it's made something I used to suffer through 2-4 times a year relatively easily feel much worse. Getting back to normal means more of this 💩 unfortunately.

- Enjoyed the golf tournament this weekend. It was nice having fans cheering on the guys. TPC Sawgrass is such a great course. No one has an advantage and the winners list is more varied than any other tourney. I am glad Justin Thomas got the win. He has been wearing Greyson Clothiers apparel since his ouster from Ralph Lauren. Interestingly the brand was started by the former lead designer at RLX. They probably have some history so don't be surprised to see him repping Greyson soon.

- I forgot the NCAA selection show was this weekend. Amazing how far my interest in NCAA basketball has declined. Never was a big basketball fan period, but I loved UK. That has been harder to do for several years. I didn't even get Sling this year to attempt watching the games and they obviously did not capture my attention the few times they made it to CBS.

- My son got his first job last week. He will be working at a local golf course doing the outside stuff like taking care of the carts, trash, cleaning up practice area, picking balls, etc. I am excited for him. We live on the course so he can also walk to work which is nice since he doesn't have his license for another 2 months.

-That's up to WS.

-What a bummer, typically one of the best distracted work days of the year. Brackets, travel planning, analyzing possible matchups, ticket dealing. FFS Cal.

-At least it's still light at 8pm now. That does so much for my mood.

-Coffee thread is interesting but I stopped at a nice maker and grinder. The results I get are really good.

-Hell of a day Friday on the Creek. Was supposed to rain but barely got any. Caught a few fish. Hiked a few miles. What a cool place, Commonwealth occasionally gets **** right and that's certainly one of them.

-Fish Fry Friday from CTK. Not too bad. I was starving from a 6a workout then fishing all day. Basically inhaled two "boxes". Fish fries were just the best as a grade school catholic kid. Parents downstairs working the cafeteria, open gym, negotiate sleep overs, run over to Dixie Manor and check out card shops or music store. Dang.

-Texas vs the Field, even odds. Lol, ok.

-Speaking of Texas... good lord Shaka. That hair looks TERRIBLE. Dude wore the bald head as well as anyone. I do like the guy, so glad he's getting it together down there but use the clippers my man.

-Mack is why I'm completely fine letting Cal figure it out. Odds of Cal figuring it out are way better than one of these other guys being able to handle the pressure of following Cal and coaching at UK.

-However, if we're picking: 1. Make the big boys say no Billy D, Vogel, Stevens, Few 2. Holtman 3. Oats 4. Beard. Oats seems like a stud but I want to see it for a couple years because that brashness can go sideways with the quickness, as we've seen. Holtman is really good and he knows the job.

-Also, if UK calls Oats, nothing they can do about it. Just like if Bama called Stoops.

-HC debut went solid. Great group of kiddos and a couple dudes that can absolutely rake. Even a set a twins to really test my ability.

-Haven't seen a second of the Red Legs. Did MLB cancel them? I guess it's Fox Sports again? I'm not picking up Hulu.

-JT with 5 under through 4 holes in the final round. Then that shot on 18. Kid is such a stud. Good for the local product.

Say what you want about Mitch, but so far I’ve only heard 2 complaints about this field.

1- Ok State as a 4, but the lost 9 games. Get over it.

2- Belmont should be in. This one is fair, 28-4.

Not bad at all, and the thing looks like a lot of chalk so we know from experience it’s time for fireworks!

- Joke on Texas or Shaka all you want. I’m more concerned with Abilene Christian than I am Bama, Michigan, or FSU. Odds are 40/1 and bet is placed!

Is Cal going to get picked up on one of these studio shows? Seems like he’d be a natural and possibly really enjoy doing that. He’d be a perfect hybrid of Vitale (loud, Italian) and Dykes (stupid catchphrases) with a little Bilas (WOKE) sprinkled in.

Still can’t get over by far the two biggest brands in college basketball sitting this year’s tournament out. Remarkable.

  • A benefit of the Covid-remote office action is the found personal time. Adding back 4 hours into every conscious day has added years to my life. Guaranteed.
  • Vaccine or not, I’m remote at least 2-3 days a week going forward. There is no putting that genie back in the bottle.
  • More sleep, less stress, physical outdoor activity, as soon as Incan unearth my bike from the construction staging, I’m using that Beyotch every morning.
  • I’m coaching 1-2 grade LL for my little man. I missed out on my first kid’s childhood completely. I may as well have been shipped out to sea during the week.
  • Wife got the J&J vaccine on Saturday, thus clearing the way for a Louisville visit to gramma. Wife gets to see her mom for first time in 1.5 years.
  • Im cheffing it up too. Steven Raichlin’s grilled Gulf Coast shrimp tonight over polenta. A must in your arsenal.
  • Bar project is coming out nicely. Cant say enough about Etsy for this one.
  • Cal has 2 years left max. Turnaround or not, he looks sizzled.

This morning sucked. Sinking in we’re not in the tournament because we were total dog **** all season. And if everyone leaves, and nothing changes, I for one don’t have a lot of hope for next year. Not as far as making the tournament but being relevant.

Still not completely sure Tubby was ever a good basketball coach. You could argue either way with me.

-will have this Friday's games on at work...per office-mate's request. My weekends/nights will be spent doing things that bring me joy/being productive.

^my only bball desire is that one of: unc, ku or msu doesn't win the tournament.
