~Really nice Tony's "steakhouse" filet last night....but I am sure it wasn't any different than the sirloins at Logans, right Pti?

~Keep waiting on the Biden supporters to condemn the border atrocities taking place....*crickets*, as expected.

~Selection Sunday will be sweeter than most this year. Enjoy beeches. *rimshot* w/ a wink and the gun for good measure.

~Gotta put Sawgra$$ back on the next golf trip .

~Off to get the 2nd dose of juice. Gonna burn a mask tonight just because.

Royal Reds are fire.

Not a boat day without Pub Subs.

Always thought Myrtle Beach was for the poors of KY and OH. Had no idea it was so uppity. Myrtle was my first beach experience as a youngster, it was Kiawah every time after that.

I realize I am a broke mouth breather from Jessamine county but i will never understand people that prefer the cold, choppy brown Atlantic over the emerald shores and powder sands of the Florida panhandle
Jessamine Co is basically PCB without the clubs or beach.

Obviously team Gulf, the Emerald coast is a special place for me.

Royal reds are a personal favorite. Gimme some jumbo shrimp cocktail. A perfectly cooked fried shrimp is a delicacy as well. The shrimp and grits at Funky’s with the smoked Gouda is unreal.

Oysters, yeah I’ll take them anyway you want but prefer just crushing on the half shell. 4 dozen is too many/Pti

Fish: grouper, trigger, cobia, tuna, snapper.

Crab: stick to stone crab claws, colossal king, and fried soft shell...snow crab just not enough meat for the effort, imo. And none of its local.

Not mad at some smoked tuna or crab dip.

I love some Cajun boiled peanuts too.

Speaking of beaches, I cut my teeth at Jones Beach

1975

Rules:

Try and not step on anything shiny protruding from the beach sand.

Those people on top of each other with a towel over their thrusting mid sections were doing it and were to be left alone.

Same with the funny smelling smoke boiling from any group or individual.

Jaws was always 20 feet from the shore so exceeding 20 feet out resulted in death or a severe beating from your Aunt via wiffle ball bat if you made it back to said shore.

Heady times for a kid from Pike County!

Guess I was misinformed. So Denver didn’t put him on the shelf his rookie season because of injury?
Not sure why wcc buys into his injury, and vando's, but it's the same damn thing. They didn't want to play.

My favorite part of the Vanderbilt conspiracy theory is how they got a surgeon to operate on his fake injury and then got the Nuggets to agree to pretend he was injured for the first 49 games of the season.

Now, with Clarke, who knows? Something wasn’t right with that guy. Especially if what Mrs. Palumbo was telling you in the preseason was true.

16 year lurker, as evident by username, first time poster.

Saturday randoms
- As someone who has lived on or around beaches the last 4 years, the rankings are simple: 1. Caribbean >>> 2. Gulf >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> 3. Atlantic
- Former Mt Vernon (yes, 40502) resident, many of walks to football games went right past the tailgate on Cooper.
- Not on team "fire cal" but def on team "time to get **** right again"
- Dad of 20 mo old girl. Currently in the "cant quite communicate" stage so everything is grunt of full-blown meltdown. Almost as bad as "no sleep" stage.
- Stupid *** me, will be dad again (another girl ) in August so will have 2 girls 2 and under. Wife is excited. I'll be damn near 60 when both are in high school.
- Have met or been around a lot of you many times over the years but never said anything. Ironically, most of my spottings were in Liquor Barn Express in Chevy Chase.
- Nothing wrong with a burger after a long hot day at the beach
- Justus and Barbee need to be gone this week
- Have never used Pat for my taxes but did look her up once
- I found this place after S16 game in 2005. The Ramel Bradley punked Bogut game.
- Currently 76 in Siesta Key, baby and wife are sleeping, and first beer cracked. Life is good.

Even though this college basketball season hasn't felt like a true season in many ways, it's still incredibly disappointing to be missing out on March Madness. For any kid who grew up in Kentucky, looking forward to and enjoying the thrills of this time of year is a birthright. I really hope this is the bottom and that better days are ahead...

And a headline for the lols (although it was true at the time):

Yeah, off season surgery is unheard of. Some of you all have very selective memory.

Duke getting way too much mention to make the tournament. Media propganda at it’s finest.

Pitino looking good to make it in. Will be the third coach to take 5 different teams to NCAA tourney.

Damnit I love college hoops. Will have to find a new darling to cheer for this year. Thanks Cal.

Coors banquets FTW.

Yes but Iona wasn’t a bare cupboard. They have made the tournament enough to know their name...but still, obviously it’s something to step in there year one and do it. Rick can flat out coach.

Reminds me of the time I got to fish with KVD in Michigan. Friend of mines brother was really good friends with him in high school and he was at their family 4th of July bbq on a small lake. I was really into bass fishing at the time, was kind of starstruck. Anyway he took us out to fish and was trying out some new lures. Bite was kinda tough but I was still just enjoying the moment. My friend took it as an opportunity to bust his balls.

“Winkleman would have put me on the fish by now.”

Kvd shot him a Tubby stare. Then proceeded to pull them out one after another.

What I’m hoping we get from Cal.

Give me Texas, and you can have the field.

I love these guards! All three can shoot, penetrate, defend, and they drop dimes to Kai Jones and Jericho Sims.
