That's rich. He's going to start recruiting shooters? We've all seen that the problem isn't the lack of recruiting them, it's the fact that they are coached not to shoot and/or forced to play to something other than their strength. Just for fun:

3pt makes, 3pt attempts, # games played this year
24-70, 12 games
20-58, 12 games
27-80, 16 games
23-52, 13 games
26-79, 15 games

That's (in random order), MIntz, Allen, Green, Juzang and Baker this year. Never mind the more highly touted recruits from years past. Our 'shooters' aren't utilized properly and they leave for the opportunity to shoot at least as often as our most prolific current shooters.

I guarantee you can pick Allen from that bunch, but that poor guy is just the latest symptom of the problem.

Roll in next season 30 pounds lighter, black hair and a tan.

Most likely will @ you twitter guys with a swaggy Cal pic.

- GYERO is going to be sponsoring a Vegas trip to celebrate 20 years of the thread in 2023. Start banking that cred with the hens, fellas.
If people don't mind helping a bad poster who's partially blind around, I want to be there.

Hopefully Jackson stays, he and Daimion Collins would block any shot inside, Allen and Brooks return, and we get Sallis. Add in this brawny mf’er and we could make a run next year.
I'd love to share the enthusiasm, but I noticed you named four big men, a small forward, and a guard we're not likely to get. That's not the solution.

- Been a long time randoms edition:

- Man, I picked a **** year to do Dryuary. Successfully completed it - and I did need it, given the way I sort of abused myself I guess to deal with 2020. But Jesus - what a **** month that was to be sober. I mean, I don’t need to recount it here - just a straight turd sandwich without the decency of any Mayo or other basic condiments. Booze is really underrated. Mental and emotional clarity be damned.

- Went to a local chili parlor (that’s for you, SAE) today to grab a couple coneys for lunch. There was some totally unhinged, giant of a man, derelict ******* standing in the cashier’s area screaming about masks being the work of satan. To the credit of the minimum wage folks working there, they had the wherewithal to just ignore him, and he eventually went away. He did steal a big handful of Andes mints on his way out, tho.

- Basketball. Ha.

- Overheard two young female employees talking about their waxing regimens at the office coffee pot a while ago - maybe mid January. Felt somewhat voyeuristic, but did mentally make a note of it. It’s the little things, folks.

- As a noted HR compliance attorney, I’ve been hired by several large companies to advise on when their “essential” employees can get sticked. Which is great work - I basically read the newspaper and bill for it. Sometimes make a couple phone calls to bureaucrats at the local level. Health department ********, etc.

- But the upshot is this - us normal folks in Phase 1C are going to be late March, April, at the earliest. Yeah there are ways to possibly get one earlier, as several esteemed posters have done, but it’s random and statistically improbable. Things like the Baptist f**k up where doses suddenly materialize for large swaths of the youngish population won’t be happening again. Govern me daddy has made sure of that.

- Speaking of which, at a cousin’s baby’s birthday party last weekend (superspreader event), I overheard a couple common day laborers sticking their chests out and boasting about how they are “essential.” The other guy who worked at a vapeshop was not essential, and he was shunned accordingly.

- Football. Ha!

- Booze is great! Happy to be back on the life downward spiral train. Please drink up, and
f**k yourself on the way out.

-I’m happy to plan the Vegas Vacation. I’ll just need an assist from resident gambling degenerate, @B.B.d.K. since I haven’t been since December 2019 and he’s been about 5x since then.

It will include at least one fancy group dinner over 8 people and then a limo ride to the hottest club with VIP access. Marcus get a table and a champagne firework presentation.

- @WynnDuffy, were they talking about bikini waxes or sex?

-Y’all know I love @SAECATFAN , but rip SAE Thursday has had me laughing. Maybe he’s a teacher and deserves this vaccine like so many on my timeline? He is ahead of my 90 year old grandma who is still waiting for an appointment, but she only goes to Kroger and her hairdresser so she’s not in a hurry. I actually called her to try and get her set up with the Baptist thing and she declined.

-Here’s a quick and healthy sheet pan recipe:

I mean, I know Anth turned it down for others more in need, but everybody’s got a story to tell.

In for the reunion. Vegas baby.

He was in a car wreck and had a stroke a few days later. Not hearsay from WWH either.

Again, spreading something like that based on hearsay is ********.

Speaking of Vegas, what's the table game minimums in a post-Covid world? Hopefully not an issue soon, but $25 a pop adjusts the starting bankroll for those not from Lake GYERO Wobegon.

- As modern TV displays get better and better, the sound from them gets worse and worse. A basic soundbar has become a prereq at minimum.

- Have already started watching MLB ejection and brawl compilation vids on YouTube. Basically my version of spring training.

- Discovered the only real downside to YouTube TV... really unfortunate that the guide doesn’t differentiate between men’s and women’s college basketball games.

Checks wagercat, you lie!

I hope I haven’t shared my Wisconsin story here, and it wasn’t just the game that caused my issues but I certainly hope no one can top it. I’d feel very very bad for you if it did.

Just watched highlights of 76ers at home vs Portland. Portland had Dame, McCollum, Nurkic, and Zach Collins all out. So 4/5 starters out tonight on the road vs a Top 2 East team, and 10 pt underdogs, but proceeded to beat The Sixers by 20.

Maxey played well though, so that’s good.

Chris Oats is a lizard person who on his way to overturn the 2020 presidential election and arrest Trumps political opponents was struck with a 5G enabled Jewish laser funded by George Soros, Hugo Chavez and the Rothschilds that was intended to release the kraken and destroy a group of satanic pedophile cannibals in an act that has come to be known as “Calzonegate,” aka “The Mist.”

Think we called that hunch punch (sp?) in college but I don't think we threw in the sour patch kids.

I too almost threw up just seeing it concocted. #old
