the key to bowling, is to smoke a pack of heaters (I'm old, so you could still smoke in the bowling alley), and power down as many of those 'bowling pin' bottles of Bud Heavy as you could manage in 2 and half hours.

Then pop a few tic tacs and drive, hammered, all the way home. Maybe kick the dog, and put a new finish on that shiner you gave your wife after your team lost the previous Sunday. (in case she gets any ideas about running that yapper to a friend or the friend's cop husband)

What was the name of the dive bar that proceeded Campus Pub on Waller?

The entire menu was 1/2 off during happy hour. My junior year I’d regularly go knock down a pitcher and a sandwich/chips before night class. Total bill was less than $10.

I can't remember, but the very first time I met HossCat was there. We got hammered, and I s**t you not, went bowling. HossCat accidentally put on someone else's jacket as we were leaving Southland Bowling lanes, and it came very close to a fight. Then we back to his apartment and smoked a bowl.

Some girl was there. She wasn't a great conversationalist.

Speaking of ****** chain restaurants, do they still make the servers at TGI Fridays where flair? That **** creeped me out, even as a little kid, when an outing to Friday’s was a special treat. Don’t think I’ve been since. Have worked across the street from one for going on 14 years and never stepped foot in the place.

Circling back to bowling - like anything else in GYERO, there are no doubt a few people in here who KNOW they are the best, so who are you?

It's going to be someone weird & quirky. Hyman, Cawood, Joey are my guesses. Possibly Vern.
Not bowling but I did master 🎯 darts.

Tax breaks or not, Kobra Kai should have been filmed in California if only to find enough Asians for the Vietnam scenes.

K, that’s enough from me tonight. And for a while.

It's a two sided coin. Trump was huge for twitter over the past 4 years and is now less useful for them. On the opposite end of the spectrum, Trump got away with a ton of TOS violations (inciting violence, threatening violence, etc.).

This is just Jack Dorsey flexing on Trump for trying to kneecap him.

They don't and it is because of Office Space. There was an article a while back listing many ways Office Space changed the world and causing TGI Fridays to lose the flair is one of them.

He owns a platform with a Terms of Service agreement. Hell, even Parler bans people.

You either completely change the rules of how companies work, or you abide by their rules. It's not any different than nearly every other service industry. Dorsey and Trump owe each other quite a bit.

Maxwell's, same owners as Trump's on Southland.

Place was legendary for a broke college student. Didnt card, $4.99 chicken strip basket, $4 pitchers, and every Wednesday was $7.99 steak night for a 9oz sirloin, potato, and side salad.
