I’m all for my crappy NFL team winning games down the stretch. This isn’t the NBA - unless you are going for a transcendent QB, I’m not sure it makes that big of a difference whether you have the 3rd pick in the draft of the 7th. And I’d rather see my young team start to put together wins as opposed to getting blown out each week to secure a better pick. I think it’s better for them.

Had the pleasure of meeting krazykats one time, and the first thing that came to mind was that he's the geniune original. Which made me think of Larry Redmon...

Been listening to the greats all morning.

Garth Brooks Aint Playin Here Tonight

Crazy People Like Me

Really has nothing to do with anything at all, BUT -- that krazykats is one great dude. Brought a ton of joy to this thread. Took all the barbs and jokes in stride. And built a legitimate bourbon business in the process. He's the genuine original. Sorry for your loss, krazy.

-Really can't find a single likable team in the CFB playoff to root for. I guess it'd be Notre Dame, but there is the whole Brian Kelly killing a kid thing that just rubs me the wrong way.

-I bought one of those patio heaters that you usually see outside at restaurants and bars. Allows for the neighbors and I to continue our distanced hang outs. Gotta do whatcha gotta do for sanity's sake.

-Haven't lost a parent yet, but I know it will be devastating. We've become really close friends as I've gotten older. It is tough to watch them age and develop "ole people" tendencies, i.e. talking loudly, repeating stories, interrupting everyone etc.

-I'm the "not watching another game this year" fan who tunes in by himself. Just can't quit. Really sucks knowing that this year is pretty much done for and it's not even January.

-This week is super slow at work, moreso than last. Great getting things knocked out for a clean slate in the new year. No clue why anyone would take vacation during these days, but I'm glad they do.

-Anybody in here have or used the Oculus Rift? Those commercials make it look super fun. I'm 37 years old.

- sorry to hear krazy

I've had to read the local paper, for damn near a year, about how this pandemic has affected a larger percentage of african american people. Now that the vaccine is here, black leaders are addressing the fact that the majority of blacks say they won't take it. Something about not trusting medical professionals. Make up your damn mind.
Just goes to show you how much of this stuff is just garbage.

Finished up The Vow on HBO. Pretty terrible documentary and a very unsatisfying ending. Don’t make me watch 10 hours of ******** and then make me Google the resolution.

It’s always fascinating to me though to see how people get sucked into these things. If Raniere had just abstained from the sex dungeons and slaves, and just banged all of them like a normal person, he’d probably still be living the high life.

One other thing I took from it....the Dalai Lama is a f*cking idiot.

This seems to be a new thing with documentaries on the subscription services. Murder Mountain on Netflix is a great watch, but the 6 hour long episodes could've easily been cut in half without losing a thing.

HBOMax has a new doc about Action Park, and it is incredible. I can't get enough info about that place.

Great. I'm on E7, and was starting to wonder if it's actually going anywhere. Worship most anything cult-related, but it was clear early this one should have been condensed.

Didn't even finish Heaven's Gate, maybe a first for me. Maybe HBO just sucks at this genre?

-'Industry' is great, however.

-In about 1986 we ran into Skywalker at the Cinemas(OG on BTown Rd). He shook my hand. I swore I'd never wash it again(I did about a week later). Was about 25 years later, Willie, WCC and I were supremely hungover in Ramsey's parking lot when Kenny pulled out on to High Street headed the wrong direction. Still one of the funniest things I've ever seen.

-No plans for NYE, probably work the early shift so the dudes can sleep in NYD. I may not even make midnight. Couple cocktails and an agreeable meal sounds good.

-Trying my hand at making mozzarella tonight.

-The Berenson - Rogan podcast was pretty good. He's a bit whacky but Rogan does a good job grilling him. Worth a listen though, good comprehensive update to where everything stands these days on the main c19 issues.

-Black cloud just all over the place for my sports fandom so head down until at least 1 of the 3 pick back up. When UKFB is my most reliable source... not good.

-Geotta sucks.

-Gimme some good switch games for a young dude. Kart and Party already loaded up.

I made it through I think 5 episodes before dropping out. Everyone in that series was loathsome on different levels.

Being a Black Mirror fan, was pretty excited about Brooker's latest 'Death to 2020' on Netflix but mann it just wasn't funny -- at all. I'm all for a mockumentary of the ****** year we've all just experienced but it was lazy and disappointing... despite the celebrity cast. I can just read my Twitter TL for all the same punch lines. Thanks.

Oh and WW84 lol -- that was one of the worst movies I've seen in quite some time. Not gonna waste any more words on it.

- Prayers to Krazykat and his family. So sorry for your loss. Ugh.

I would hate to be black. Can you imagine going through life where a lot of white people think you’re half-retarded? This is what 90% of the writers in Brooklyn (and probably 80 Proof) think what’s going through black people’s minds:

“Oh, dey hol’ da negro down back in ‘32. We nevah take the honky’s devil medicine again fo sho’.”

Most black people I know who are skeptical of the vaccine are like, “wow, seems like they rushed that through. I might want to wait and see how this goes before I take it.” You know, like many other humans who are Hispanic, white, Asian, etc.

We ended up skipping the two episodes before the finale, and I'm 99% sure we didn't miss a damn thing. That doc had real promise if it had been done a year or so from now and really focused on the sex. It became mind-numbing listening to the people who got out droning on and on and on and on about the exact same thing.

OMG BRANDED. OMG HE MADE ME FEEL BAD. Then you google later and you see **** about sex dungeons, and I feel like we really missed out on the good stuff.

- well that's pretty racist even for White Wayne 🤷‍♂️

- making mozzarella is surprisingly easy (pro tip: peel off some curds to make some poutine)😎

- seeing your parents get old and lose their invincibility is tough. I've not had to say goodbye to one yet, but have come close a couple of times. I dread the day 😢

- I'm glad we don't have a game tonight 😶

- picking Upshaw to show out on Saturday 💪

- sunshine and cold, seems like the most proper seasonal weather we've had in months. I loved that extended fall. 🙂

- zero plans for NYE and looking forward to it. No desire to even stay up until midnight. 😴

- I don't think 2021 is going to be any better than 2020, probably worse if I had to state a prediction. 😬

- doing a little framing work tomorrow. It's always good to swing the hammer a bit. 😛

- planning to introduce Jojo to The Force Awakens this afternoon. We rewatched Return of the Jedi yesterday so I think he's ready. 😁

I just like the fact that Wayne said he was going to "video tape" his neighbor. I'm picturing one of those gargantuan shoulder cannons my dad recorded Christmas with 30 years ago.

Wayne, if you decide to do it, you can mail the VHS to me in a manilla envelope and I can convert it to mp4 for you and upload it to Kazaa so everyone here can download a torrent of it as a zip file. That or we can just dub it over if you have a second VCR.

Anth, my boy is nearly 7 and is infatuated with zelda breath of the wild. Even better, it opened his interest to playing a link to the past on the arcade included with the switch. That was a cool bonding moment as I remember playing that with my dad.

I'd also recommend animal crossing new horizons (especially if g is just picking up reading like my son was when he started) and luigis mansion 3.

Haven’t had a haircut or shaved more than 10 times in the last year.

Hey China, thanks for a great year.
