Even less surprising is a bunch of dumbass UK fans turning their noses up at Ky football royalty because it comes from Jefferson County.

Moorhead would be a home run. The other guys would be "meh" on the surface, but I'm certainly going to give them a chance. I presume Stoops knows football, has plenty of connections and understands who would be a good fit. Certainly, he's in a better position than any of us, and so far he hasn't decided that hiring his old incompetent buddies is the way to go, unlike Cal. Benefit of the doubt for this hire ATKOT.

-moorhead, please.

-optimistic take: hopefully the light went off for these kids...busted *** in the 2nd half and still lost. Now they know what it takes or whatever, idk.

-flank steak on the grill last night. Nice little marinade ...ginger /honey /garlic/green onion.

-duck/speck hunting trip booked for next month in Stuttgart Arkansas. Need it, gang.

Moorhead seems like a dream hire and I'm not sure why he'd leave Oregon to come here unless Stoops has him sold on being Assistant Head Coach or whatever title Gran had too in order to set Moorhead up for another head coaching gig at a big time school in a few years.

My only worry is that Moorhead looks like the love child of Mr. Mackey from South Park and Charlie Weiss.

I don't care where he's from... there should at least be a bit of caution in hiring someone as the OC who has never called plays and has only ever coached for his brother.

If a female can contribute to a college football team, more power to her. If she can't, that's the coaching staff's decision. I care as much as I do about any other Vandy player, which is none.

I don't care if she's an All American. I don't care if it is a publicity stunt. I just don't give a f*ck.

Yeah, that covers it. If a girl was on UK's team, I'd have no problem with her playing if she earned her spot. If she didn't, I'd ***** about it just like any other player that is playing in front of a more capable player.

That's equality, correct?

I was happy for Sarah Fuller. Cute story in the time of Covid.

I was not happy with the media narrative around Sarah Fuller that this was some transcendent moment in sports that unlocked doors for women everywhere. Junior high kids (boys and girls) can make extra points. And that's the crux of this. Her "accomplishment" was insignificant, yet it was treated as if she went out and threw for 300 yards.

Some of you guys pay too much attention to the media. Who gives a f*ck what they have to say about 99% of what they write about? I care as much about sports media opinions as I do the opinions of random "CBBFAN6969" fans on Twitter. It's meaningless.

Follow me for more tips and tricks on nihilistic living.

Dammit this week is the season finale of Mandalorian, UK sucks, I’m a Bengals fan, and everything is dark and grey.

You merely adopted nihilism. I was born into it, molded by it.

‘Die Hard’ may be my genre of film.

I’ve enjoyed Die Hard on/in the following:

An airplane, a mountain, a bus, a train, a hockey arena, Alcatraz, NYC tunnel, prisoner plane, Air Force One, an airplane full of snakes, a cruiseliner, a subway, a super block apartment building, a battleship, the White House, and a space prison.

- Have been enjoying Die Hard and Die Hard 2 over the past few late night Dad Times. I don’t care if they’re Christmas movies, they’re more enjoyable around Christmas. Good background for making the decision on whether to pour another bourbon with that 6 am wakeup call staring you in the face.

- If you were looking at the lifetime scores on my Brand Loyalty Index, Franklin batting gloves and Snyders of Hanover hard pretzels may well rank the highest.

- One of my favorite things about being a Kentucky fan is the random conversation about the team when you and a stranger notice each other in public rocking UK gear, “Big game today.” “Yup - hope they come to play.” “I don’t know about that Boston.” “Me neither.”

- I still remember Chuck Culpepper condescendingly chiding the rednecks in our fanbase for not cheering Todd Svoboda’s contributions. So yeah good stuff Matt and PTI.

- Speaking of criticizing Matt Jones- you do realize this guy obnoxiously gets hit from all angles every day from complete and utter morons. While I agree it’s part of the primo position he holds, you must realize it like affects his takes on things.

If I were in a prominent media position like Jones, I would try to not look at my mentions. Bill Simmons said as much. Not saying I could do it, and I assume it would be tremendously difficult, but I think that's what you'd have to do to keep from being pissed off all the time.

I see Llama's cute Facebook posts daily but I feel like he's prolly going through a real rough patch right now --- UK basketball and now the Indians news?

Harris won't handle the KC football team removing their name very well either.

Future puppies scent to all the supporters of the Braves, Raiders (Red and Blue), Utes, Illini, Hawkeyes, Warriors, Tribe, Chippewas, Choctaws, Moccasins, and any that I might have missed -- both collegiate and professional.

Additional thoughts and prayers to the 'Crusader' contingent as well. We can't have any religious affiliations with people who murdered, raped and pillage in the name of Christ.

I have some friends from the Cleveland area that are OUTRAGED by the Indians move.

I mean it’s not like changing the name is abandoning a proud tradition of success...

I remember seeing Die Hard in the theater shortly after it came out. Just looked it up and the movie was released on July 15, 1988. Summer blockbuster. Definitely not a Christmas movie then or now.

I really enjoy the new commercial where they state “ we will stand up to any injustice we see and make a change.” Good luck chasing your tail because you can’t do **** anymore without it being an injustice to someone, somewhere, somehow. Then again it could be the best thing that happens if they’re all running around like a chicken with their head cut off.
