Or maybe same deal as Hank Gathers. Just awful.

And ESPN has no shame, but it should be ashamed of itself trying to assign blame to COVID-induced myocarditis right after the poor kid collapsed on the court.
yep - total ********.

They are so willing to scare the ever-loving **** out of people with zero evidence. Stupid douchebags.

Vandy cancelled their last game of the season. They have always been my second-favorite team in the SEC as my family has ties to the school, but F them. Kick them out of the SEC. They're a joke.

I used to love going to football games. They would parade military men and women in uniform onto the field, escorted by first responders -- police, EMTs, fireman, merchant marines, coast guard, and such. An 80 yard-long United States flag would be spread out across the field and waived gallantly as the crowd stood to salute and sing the Star Spangled Banner. Fighters jets would do a fly over, dropping a sonic boom in the air just as they crossed the field. 2 paratroopers would fall from the sky, landing perfectly at midfield to hand deliver a flag to Governor, who stood there patiently waiting on a bald eagle to swoop down from the top of the stadium and rest perfectly on his other arm.

Those were the good ole days, before they started with all this political ********.

I know we have full faith in Mark Stoops (offensive wunderkind) to hire an explosive, hotshot, home run hire of an offensive coordinator, but here's the resume of Liam Coen....

2010 (Brown, QB Coach)
2011 (Rhode Island, QB Coach)
2012-13 (Brown, QB Coach)
2014-15 (UMass, passing game coordinator)
2016-17 (Maine, offensive coordinator)
2018 (Holy Cross, offensive coordinator)
2018-19 (LA Rams, assistant wide receivers coach)
2020 (LA Rams, assistant QB Coach)

This guy come from Warwick, Rhode Island Football Royalty, or what?

Here is Joe Brady's resume who made LSU of all teams an offensive juggernaut:

You don't know **** about college football offensive coordinators. You're just fillin in for somebody.

Well I suppose if this staff would just go hustle up a bunch of NFL 1st-rounders, then we'll be fine.

Mike Holmgren used to coach high school football.

Obvious, but there are good and bad to hiring either an up and comer or a proven guy. Up and comer you might strike gold, you might strike out. Proven guy is also most likely a prover loser as well, otherwise he wouldn't be coming here to be offensive coordinator.

The chances of success with either are probably about the same. We just aren't getting a can't lose candidate. Almost no one does.

This must look like the resume of a sure fire home run hire then, right PTI?

1995-1998 (Ole Miss, RB Coach, Special Teams Coordinator)
1999-2008 (Auburn, RB Coach, Special Teams Coordinator)
2009 (Tennessee, RB Coach, Special Teams Coordinator)
2010-2012 (Florida State, Associate Head Coach, Offensive Coordinator)
2013-2015 (Cincinnati, Offensive Coordinator)

-shut that down in 11-12, Joey.

-i manage someone else's now, 90% autonomy: ive met the majority(90%) owner once in 6 years and my boss(10% owner/president) and I meet twice a year...he obviously keeps an eye on the numbers, but does not "manage" me per se.

^I treat the place like I own it...and as a large part of my (job) income is based solely on profit margin, I am wise to do so.

-honestly i was less likely to take time off when "I owned the place.".

-Rams and McVey are as hot a name as you'll find in football. Having an NFL guy on the sidelines is a great piece for recruiting. Optics of nabbing a coach from the NFL looks good. So all good, just hope he can actually do the job.

-We definitely should've fired Gran and not hired anyone for OC, PTI. Great call.

-Try to keep this out of here but damn, Lex and Lou schools are not basically set to not return before March. That would be a FULL year out of school for our 2 largest school districts. TBH, I'd be surprised if they make it back at all this year.

-Crushed beef and broccoli last night. I'm just a damn good home chef.

-Been on a reading tear lately. 3 books in 5 weeks. Hope to get at least 1 more in, Pappyland, before 21.

-Fat wop has basically 2 games to salvage the season. Lose either of these 2 and I can't see a path to recovery.

-Planning for at least a couple summer/fall trips has slowly started. That'll do for now.

-Jemarl.
