What does this team do that is redeemable? I mean, in past years, you could see what we *could* be even through a bad loss.

I’m having a hard time seeing this team be competitive in the SEC. Easy playbook: sag on defense and body Boston and Clarke. We have no answer...

Yikes, would’ve been nice to have a couple more cupcakes to figure **** out more, dont really have the time or schedule this year unfortunately. Just hope we don’t lose 10 games before figuring it out.

Cal isn’t speaking to the media after the game, I see. He is scheduled to do a show on Monday before Kansas. If he takes it upon himself to condescendingly lecture BBN as he is won’t to do when he has no real answers for why his program is now in shambles, plant me firmly in the bus. As a matter of fact, don’t. I’ll just get off the bus and walk to a new destination.

Maybe you will run into Darius Miller

Luckily for us, UCLA, Notre Dame, and Georgia Tech are f*cking terrible. We’ll win those two of those three around 69-63 and beat one 85-62 and everyone will be convinced it’s some big corner turning moment.

I’m old enough to remember Josh Carrier being a dead eye shooter by reputation so I say bupkis on any shooting reps until I see it in a college game

I think I've mentioned this before but a couple of years ago I watched the UK-UofL Dec. 1986 replay and CBS had a short interview in the pregame with Crum raging against the 3-pointer that was introduced that season saying that it really wasn't what basketball was about and doubted it would have an impact. Realizing at that moment that UofL had just finished a 14-year run that would only pale against UCLA or UK's runs and they would spend his last 15 years dying a slow death. And right now, it seems real familiar.

Thing is- I don’t think it would take a major change for Cal to get ish right. But it would take some change and he seems really dug in.
Roster continuity would be ideal, but not for a guy who measures success by ending generational poverty.

There's a real jerkoff and slapdick air around UK Athletics right now. There is way too much stuff like AJ Rose fumbling like a prima donna dumbass only to see Stoops feed him the ball instead of sending him to the locker room until the second half. (Of course, Rose bitched about coaching later in the season because why not -- he was taught to be a spoiled brat.)

There's a lot of that cool breeze ********, starting with the coaches of the two flagship programs.

Dykes is a goober but there is an element of truth to there being an institutional culture and ours reeks of entitlement and expecting fans to always be supportive for decisions that are almost universally made without any concern to fans' interests.

I really don't want to hear **** from Calipari about draft records, scheduling, etc. I'm sure that helps recruiting but I don't want to hear about it any more. I want to hear about putting the best possible f***ing UK basketball team on the floor every f***ing year and not a bunch of carnival barker horseshit.

Get everyone haircuts (starting with the coaches). Throw everyone's phones in the nearest trash can. Shut the f*** up about all the extraneous nonsense and worry about putting the best possible product for the BBN on the floor, you fat, sloppy bastard.

I’d be ok with a cheesy “lock them out of the locker room” move but they’re probably restricted where they can go due to COVID

Gonna be a fun year of watching us force feed a big while our should be top 10 draft prospects develop not one iota and end up going in the 15-18 range along with two transfers (looking at Allen and Ware).

Topping getting PT is horseshit.

Coming into this game, Jacob Gilyard had 1300 points, 500 assists and 300 steals on his college resume. A-10 Defensive Player of the Year last year, too. 22 years old.

Meanwhile, our starting point guard reclassified so he could get to UK even sooner, setting foot on campus first as legitimately at 17 year old child.

Why in gods name would we expect Askew to be the better player?
