*Mintz has playable very poorly.
*Sarr is a stud and will be consistently throughout the year.
*10 turnovers in a half is way too many. Tighten it up boys.

Atmosphere is about like watching Vandy and Mizzou on the Wednesday night SECT opener. Cheerleaders alone in the American Flag endzone upper deck. Leach and Pratt got evicted from center court and are in the corner. Very, very strange.

When Richmond’s guards start making shots, our boys are going to be in trouble. I still like they’re buy-in on D. I love Sarr’s footwork. Boston is a natural slasher/scorer.
There are no great passers on this squad and they all seem to have minimal court vision. Would love to see some court spacing - even if we’re not going to shoot it - just to give guys lanes to go 1-on-1. The Iverson cuts across the top of the key into a misdirection ball screen is Cal’s “vanilla” offense. Hopefully he tweaks something going forward.

Our PGs have been godawful. Understandable with Askew. Disappointing with Mintz.
Make lol Cal won’t even let us take them. It’s nauseating.
It puts a lot of the ballhandling responsibilities on Boston and Clarke, which they aren't ready for yet.
It’s November. Already know this team is gonna struggle shooting 3s and at the ft line. Mostly cause the coach has probably told them it’s the worst shot in basketball to take.

It seriously is like a mistake when we take a trey shot.
Either the clock is running down or someone just decides to jack one in iso...they almost never come in the flow of the offense.
It is muuuuuuuuuuuuuuch easier to make BS calls against the home team when there is no crowd there to boo mercilessly.
We’re outrebounding them by 14 and they’ve taken 14 more shots than we have.

The issues in this game, to me, come down to this. A floor general is necessary with this group, but there is so much to work with our PG should easily have a quiet 8/8/4 line every game almost.
Instead they are glaringly off and we are surprisingly not looking like a unit.
