-Pineapple on pizza is delicious. With some bacon and banana peppers? *chef's kiss*

-First Thanksgiving of my entire 32 years away from my parents and brother. Nothing makes me homesick like holidays. Not homesick for a place...I haven't been to my "hometown" in 7 or 8 years...homesick for a time, really.

-Thankful for in-laws who I actually like. If any GYERO parents need tips for when your kid hits the dinosaur stage, I'm your girl. Spent an hour drawing t-rex with my nephew the other night and he promised he would bring his dino encyclopedia Thursday. Pretty pumped about it, ngl.

-if anyone needs me for the rest of the year, I'll be watching this on continuous loop.

I am extremely empathetic, anth. This sucks. I'm very sorry for him and his staff. I'm just saying your eulogizing the place is premature. It'll reopen and Eddie will be the purveyor. Christ.

Shenanigans beef gonna spell the end for Toby/Brooksie? :(

Fields needs to play the J Prince role here and squash this.

A couple of weeks ago a grandmother absolutely lit into the teacher on Zoom, right in front of my daughter's entire class. Told her she wasn't teaching well enough, that this stuff was too hard, cussing, was literally screaming at her. I felt terrible for the teacher, as that teacher has been outstanding and that grandmother was just being a c_unt, especially doing it in front of a class of 9 and 10-year-olds. Our experience with virtual has been fantastic, and my daughter's teachers have been better than I could've hoped for given the situation.

It’s high noon on Thursday, May 6th. Sunny and 78. May Madness is here and for the last 6 weeks people have been taking to the new COVID vaccine like dogs in heat. The buzz in Louisville is palpable as bar patios and restaurants are packed, and The Faithful gear up for the Cats’ opening round game as a 1 seed and odd’s on favorite to bring home the hardware for the 9th time.

Shenanigans is officially about to reopen. The line to get in pours out onto Norris Place. Eddie Kupper is having himself a day as he unlocks the doors, grabs a megaphone and proclaims.. “Welcome back. We are so happy to see everyone and for the record... We still have, bar none, the coldest beer in town.”

The crowd goes hot damn B-A-N-A-N-A-S.

Teachers should all be taught how to utilize the mute button on con calls...I use it liberally.

Accidentally hit a vein while getting my weekly treatment and the drug hit me immediately. Valiums didn’t dent the side effects so slowly dragged myself outside to smoke a large bowl to numb the pain. A few minutes later, while fried out of my skull, a terrible smell enveloped me and I about lost my cookies. Realized I had crop dusted myself in wind proof sweats with hoodie I was wearing because of the chills I was having.
I’m sure the neighbors got a good laugh at me stripping down in slow motion, dry heaving and crawling back inside. Note to self....no chili and wind proof sweats combos when doing drugs.

Au Contraire, a 7 year old btodd was in Air-Way (Target now) when the diarrhea pain hit me while shopping with my parents for Xmas. Ran as fast as I could towards the bathroom but didn’t make it. Crying, poop all over me waiting for someone to come in so I could ask them to get my mom.
10-15 minutes pass and who walks in...Santa Claus. How do you try to tell Santa you just **** your pants? As a kid I knew my Xmas expectations were as done as my dignity and clothes.....devastated doesn’t do it justice.

we will return to this story after a short break for drugs and flatulence

(Left out the “!!!!!!!”just for PTI)

Full on sparring going to be included in the next GYEROlympics? That seems like a rivalry that’s been bubbling just below the surface for years.

The best unsolicited advice I could give you younger parents is spend as much family time with your children. If they want to play Pokémon, Nintendo Switch, play dolls or whatever the hell they want. Just do it. You’ll be tired and feel like doing something else. When those times have passed you will miss them.

It’s easier said than done but just trust me.
