Absolutely doggie. Call down there and set it up. I’ve always wanted to play it, everyone says it’s an awesome course & worth the splurge.

I’d like to go as well, but make sure it’s not cart path only before you get a tee time. I don’t really want to walk there. It’s pretty hilly.

Scramble format if you have 3 groups (or more). Would be a blast and could totally roast the loosers at the Augusta National 19th Hole Bar and Grille.

Do you have to have your own clubs to play there or can you rent some at the clubhouse? Also need to know the snack bar situation. Are we talking vending machines or live service?
I am a member at August National. Joined simultaneously with Condi Rice because they wanted another white man to go in when she did. Hardly ever play though.
You all laugh now but we all know if anyone, and I mean ANYONE, in this thread is gonna play Augusta and become a member there, it’s krazy.

Seriously, do you think $25K would do it? There’s gotta be somebody who has the right to play the course who needs an immediate influx of $25K.
My guess is you're way low. Also, I can't imagine any would put membership at risk by selling tee times.

Serious question: I wonder how many “normal” members Augusta National has. Surely they have a handful that aren’t super rich and famous. Maybe they’re locals who are super talented, or their family has deep roots in the area, or they’re a member of the clergy, or some other unique circumstance.

I feel like I was told it ran nearly $40k for a member guest to play there circa 2005-ish when an employer played. They had to have a PGA certified handicap and there was some sort of vote by the course board or members to approve the invitation.
Phil Mickelson was 24 strokes back heading into 18, but picked up a birdie, and thus got one stroke closer to DJ to wrap up his round. Solid performance.
