- Saw a retweet on my feed this morning from a basketball recruiting account run by a HS sophomore. You better believe that if Twitter had been around in 1990, HS sophomore KL would have probably done something similar, rather than running up his parents' phone bill calling the TCP 1-900 recruiting hotline for Oscar's latest info.

- Did a "breakout room" for the youngest's 12th birthday the other night. Gotta admit, that was a fun way to pass a weeknight evening. We didn't kill each other and managed to escape with three minutes to spare. Better than suffering through 90 minutes of some "Trolls" movie or whatever.

- Foods that I used to eat with zero problems, but now give me issues....granola bars and cereal. Either one is bad news.

- Always striking the first time you drive around post-election and see yards sans campaign signs. Well, except for this one house here in town that is clinging to hopes of a Trump victory and has yet to pull their seven or so signs of varying sizes, shapes, and colors...accompanied by one sign which threatens physical violence to anyone caught trying to remove one of the Trump signs. But otherwise, barren yards.

- I know it's a chain (though an above-average one, IMO)....but doggone it if Carabba's doesn't have the best Caesar Salad going these days.

All of the above didn't come close to making up the nearly 5K in attendance. Take a horseshow and stick it up your ***.
Look bud, that's taking it way too far, a horseshoe, well, no problem, but an entire horseshow? Simmer down.

A Louisville buddy located and snagged a Starlight Huber single barrel pick (109 proof) for me and I look forward to adding that to the lineup when I visit at Christmas.

Not to pimp for my cousin's up North, but the Huber's Single Barrel Finished in Sauterne Barrels has become one of my favorites even though it's only a 4 year old. Kind of pricey for what you pay at retail, but a damn good pour with lots of great flavor. If you can find any of this particular bottle, pick it up and give it a spin.

-Happy Birthday PTi, you huge asshat you. Hope you have a great day brother.

- Hey 84 here is my 2 weeks, F this ****!

Hey Krazy we don’t accept this notice, can you meet us Tuesday to discuss?!?

I mean, I literally LOL’d

- Jgumbo for lunch, man I’m blessed!

- In our hood the kids play frisbee football, kickball, and cops and robbers.

So yesterday my kids were stoked when I introduced everyone to wiffle ball.

Then of course when it was my turn to bat one of the moms, a former softball pitcher in college, steps out of the house as serious as could be to pitch.

F me! Too much pressure, strike 1,

Krazy: look this **** is just fun to me but why you so serious

Karen: Quit crying

Strike 2

The whole neighborhood: Krazy your ego going to be ok after this?

Krazy: listen, did I strike your daughter out or something, WTF!

Smack..............base hit........FOH

Krazy: What were any of you thinking doubting me! I brought this game to all and you come at me like that?!?

(PS I was seriously scared I was going to strike out, her slider was on point!)

Shorts:

- Picked up a couple Buffalo Trace picks at lunch. As mentioned before- best $25 in bourbon.

- Burgers have been tearing me up of late.

- Having a 2-month old is like playing DeAaron Fox. Relentless. Constantly coming at you. No peace. To think some of you said raising dogs was easier. Idiots.

- I’m a two bourbon guy now on Friday and Saturday as I have to get up with her usually at 4am and again at 7am. The latter is manageable for a minor 4-drink hangover but it’s just not worth it with a 3-4am random wakeup call. To make up for it, I now drink 7 days a week as opposed to the Richie Schedule.

- Good week for Catholics. Get some, WASPs

- Speaking of which, F Dabo.

- Nate Silver looks exactly how you’d think he looks.

- Say what you want about UC football but they know how to hire a coach- D’Antonio, Kelly, Jones (a stretch), Senator Tuberville and Fickel.

- Maple trees just showing out right now.

What kind of wild antics are going on in these Facebook Yard Sale groups? Each one seems to state their stance of “No Rules” or “No Drama” in the group name. Thunderdome stuff.

I could vent, but I spent my morning fixing issues with my bourbon venture which was way more important to me, and had nothing but day job problems(typical Monday) that I honestly am done with.

Nothing stable about a straight commission job where this 2 weeks I get a 10K check and next week I get 0.

Not to mention, I don’t think Joe will be so bad, but I don’t scare easy either so let’s see.

I hate only making 10k a month, too. Good move.

I hate to tell you this, but it seems 10K a month is not even close to the lowest of expectations in today’s bourbon industry.

Hell I know people who do that buying bottles at retail, and flipping them on secondary.

What an incredible badass. Love seeing "non traditional" athletes breaking barriers. Nikic is up there with Miles "Smiles" Taylor (kid with cerebral palsy who got to go hang out with Arnold after his double bodyweight deadlift: link)

Talked with a guy this weekend who is SIXTY THREE and still competing after 33 years. Said he doesn't lift as much as he did when he was young, but loves the sport and is thrilled to get to keep at it.

I like the idea that flipping bourbon on the secondary market is more stable than selling lumber on commission.

I’m sure some of the “builders” in here can tell you better than me how ridiculous home building/restaurant construction is. The lumber, is the easiest part, but the windows, exterior doors, and trim and homeowners come with issues I’m sick of.

I have no clue what industry you are in, but I tend to be more of a go getter so stable isn’t so much the issue as the headaches that come from it changing my focus from what I truly need to be accomplishing.

Distributors from TN, IN, ILL, Montana, NY are contacting me at least once a week right now but I don’t have time because some Mrs WilliamJ doesn’t know how to put screens into her windows.

That said, I’m sure tomorrow after getting all my bourbon stuff square and on track, I am sure they offer something to get me to finish the year with everything I have coming that they don’t want to go to our competitors after I leave.

- Have gotten back into fishing a bit lately. I'll never be hardcore fishing guy but I've enjoyed some time in a jon boat on a small lake disconnecting from everything else.

- Are we going to play every football game on the SEC Network? Can't remember playing anywhere else so far.

- Masters week. Weird.

- Not huge on sweets/cakes/etc but my chess bar consumption can get out of hand quickly.

Well there is nothing stable about going out on a boat and catching fish. Might catch four or five nice ones one day, then 0 the next. I guess it is OK for sport, but I definitely would not quit your day job and try your hand as a profession. Just seems too damn unstable.

All kidding aside, glad to be in management in the car business, selling is DEFINITELY UNSTABLE with a all caps UNSTABLE. Great salespeople (such as myself) will always get theirs, but man some months can be trying.
