Emergency trip to the distillery, and I am sure most of not all will disagree, but Vs is a better listen than ten, IMHO.

It wasn't Tressel's first issue with the NCAA. He had a QB at Youngstown State who received a large amount of money from a trustee and Tressel wasn't completely forthcoming with the NCAA but the statute of limitations had passed by the time it was found out he lied during the initial investigation.. They didn't hit him with a show cause and didn't take any of his 4 I-AA championships but they did hit him and the university with a lack of institutional control. Then fast forward to OSU and he got caught lying to the NCAA they hit him with a 5-year show cause and he was 65 years old by the time that expired.

Interesting that the early 90s were viewed as a heydey for country music as well, but not many selections from that genre. I've kinda kicked myself for leaving Dwight Yoakam "If There Was A Way" off my list.

I love a lot of hip-hop from the 90s. Most of it mentioned here. But outside of Outkast or Nas, I could not listen to many of those albums first track to last. I doubt many here could put "The Chronic" or "Doggystyle" on today and listen to that whole thing. It doesn't stand up as well over time. The hits, awesome. The albums, not so much.

Every UK coach should dress like that.

Interstate Love Song is great but it is hella short.

Andre 3000's second verse on Aquemini might be the greatest thing I've ever heard period.

If the world ever needed new Outkast album it would be now.

Late night whiskey fueled thoughts no one gives a **** about:

-Spent the past week with the new Sturgill album. It is beautiful musically. The folks he had playing with him are all stars. If anyone likes this music and is not familiar with Tim O’Brien and/or his band Hot Rize, hit me up. I will blow your mind with some recs.

- Favorite tracks on the album are Voices and Old King Coal. They translated wonderfully.

- There also are a couple songs I did not think translated well. But I’m not going to ***** about that right now; positive energy only.

- Yesterday morning I met with the owner of a small business. He hired a stripper for a sales executive job. Now he is surprised said stripper is suing him. I will never stop shaking my head in this line of work.

- Mexican food fans: do like the locals, and give the vegetarian option a shot. Was at Montoya’s today. Had enchiladas with cheese and onions filling, mole on top. Beyond ridiculous.

- My two year old actually thinks all the Halloween blowup things are real. It’s incredible taking him for a stroller walk while his head just explodes at all the weirdo haunted ******** out there - dragons, ghosts, minions, etc. There is a strong blowup game in North Fort Thomas.

- Give me Knight for my point guard. First Final Four in 13 years - that team is forever in my heart. And he didn’t miss when it mattered.

- Tomorrow, Rodriguez gets 27 carries, 140 yards, and crushes the soul of Mizzou.

- Speaking of which, when the hell did Mizzou join our conference? Weird Big 8 interloping ********.

- Last night the Highlands Dance Team rang my doorbell trying to sell cookies or cakes or something. Not even sure what I bought, but I cut them a check for a requested maximum package of $65. God bless the US of A.

- Beware the murder hornets, my friends. And, GBB.

I agree on the rap take even though I enjoy stuff most don’t due to having to scope out a whole album until about the 7th grade where skipping songs on a CD was possible.

Still, there are some that can easily be listened to straight thru, and that separates those guys from the rest.

All eyez on me
Me Against the World
Ready to Die
Life after Death
Reasonable Doubt
Aquemini
Ridin Dirty

Those are all, 100% start to finish perfection.

That Mad Season album was great but for “grunge” it’s gotta be Ten-PJ or Core-STP. Dirt-AIC is right up there as well.

Hip hop it’s either The Chronic or Low End Theory.

Kentucky Staff- 😂. Would love to have that sweatshirt actually. We had some sharp gear back then.

Cats by a TD today.

* I feel like Mizzou is a better version of Vandy. I consistently know absolutely nothing about them but assume we should be better than them. Seems like it is usually a close game.

I like the prediction of a fairly boring game where we run all over them and our defense allows a few big plays but mostly holds them to 14 or so. We win 24-17. Seems about right on a grey rainy October day. Rodriquez gets the game ball. Terry throws for 150 yards with 1 TD and runs for 40. AJ Rose leads the team in carries and over-celebrating getting 3 yards and not making a cut.

* If you like 48 Hour true crime shows (BBdWinja, for example), you should check out That Chapter on YouTube. It has a ton of true crime stories and the host has a solid dry Irish wit. Recommend. Surprised that hasn't been picked up for a cable channel.

* Knucks to Sloot for posting during labor. There's OG-gangster and then there's that. Rarified air.

* Radiohead is worse than eggs scrambled with AIDS and dog ****. Absolutely awful.

* krazykats not being allowed to talk with the school system because (in part) he called a clerk a "****" is not getting its full due. 🤣

* Can't decide if I want to spring for the UFC PPV. Khabib v. Gaetje is a banger. But dropping $65 for something that is going to conflict with the UK game has my inner Dave Ramsey warring with my inner GYEROMAN.

* Had a few barley pops with my buddies around a campfire and came home about midnight. It is good to know that my dog is a lazy shitheel who won't come investigate a midnight intruder when he's alone with his DogMom. He's getting a stern talking to this morning.

Having bacon and eggs this morning Hank. Get pumped.

Jerry Jeff Walker passed last night. 2020 can F right off. The Pickup Song is one of those tunes that puts me in just a good place.

My Border Collie mix will absolutely go apeshit if you’re a stranger but once you come around a bit she’s showing her belly and giving you the pet me eyes.

Might have made a bit of an drunken *** out of myself in front of the lass last night. She’s Brazilian and just doesn’t understand the need to drunkenly sing “If you don’t like Hank Williams you can kiss my ***” at the top of my lungs after midnight.

90’s music is nostalgia driven for most of us. Kind of have to separate that to get to the true classics of that era.

Hot Take: I like the Big Kickoff show on Fox more than Gameday now. Watching them trot out Corso is just sad.

No Tribe Called Quest?
No De La Soul?

#GYEROsowhite

I listed Low End Theory by ATCQ. I left my wallet in El Segundo still bangs.

If you can't listen to all of All Eyez On Me start to finish, I got nothing for you. Ambitionz Az a Ridah was waaayyyy ahead of it's time. The banging *** bass beat, and the first song heavy on the symbols with snare drum and funk beat just made the lyrics flow, and flow Tupac did, best flow in the rap game. That double album gave you so much, still in the rotation on weekend drunk nights. How Do U Want it is RB funk with some of his best flow on any song, I Ain't Mad At Cha bangs start to finish "yous a damn as *****, but I aint Mad at cha". Pitcher Me Rollin calls out MF'ers straight at them,
