Canada has approximately 1/10th the population of the United States. Not shocking they have less covid cases.

US has 4% of the worlds population and 25% of the COVID cases last time I checked.

Stats are not in your collective favour.

Nor is thinking that you’re smarter than the centre for disease control.

EVERYONE in the Bay Area is wearing a ****ing mask, and the cases are still going up. No schools, no inside restaurants, no bars, no sports. Cases going up up up up.

GO MASKS!!!!!

As a lawyer guy, one would assume you would be aware of the inaccuracy of your use of the word “everyone”.

Additionally, In a perfect world, everyone would wear N95s which actually do fully block COVID particles, but not enough exist so they do their best with what they have, which studies show aren’t perfect but are more effective than not wearing one at all.

Spent the weekend at a friend’s lake house helping him out up his boat, dock, etc. Took my son so there were three dads with our three ten year old sons. Lots of toilet humor, chili farts, staying up too late, not giving any effs. At one point one of the boys told us “man, I’m glad the moms aren’t here” so feel like mission accomplished. Highly recommend.

These numbers tell the whole story. Cases are the end all be all, there is no context.

I blame 73 and his ilk.

I remember getting H1N1 back in 2009 because I just plum didn’t give a **** back then.

Now I’m over here all adulting and **** and so far so good other than the whole sitting at home drinking by myself for 7 months part.

I would feel confident in saying that the mask wearing percentage in the San Francisco area is the highest in the country. You are shamed to the seventh level of hell if you don't have one on in public.

-this virus is behaving like (insert audible gasp here) a virus. It is the height of hubris to think it can be "mostly" contained/eradicated. Mother nature is gonna do mother nature stuff. We just work here.

-the metrics that matter are deaths and hospitalizations. Case numbers are fear porn/excuse to centralize control over the populace at worst...or complete ineptitude/obscene risk aversion at best.

I feel like we're on the verge of solving this thing in GYERO. A few more pages of logical fallacies (I'm plenty guilty of this myself) and we should be contacted by the Nobel Peace Prize Committee.

GYERO's bread and butter is ad hominem, but we've made significant gains in tu quoque, composition/division, black-or-white, middle ground, the texas sharpshooter, anecdotal, correlation/causation, slothful induction, burden of proof, and special pleading,

Two things:

1) Joe Morgan.

I grew up in Reds country (southern Ohio/northern KY). I’m not one of those fair weather fans. Always a hometown fan. I can still name the starting lineup for most of those 70’s teams. Wanna bet? Try me.

2) KSR

What a joke. Matt might me the most ignorant sports host in sports history.

Stanford Football...please go practice 5 miles away in San Mateo County! Because the covid protocols in your home county won't allow you to practice there. But after practice, it's ok to return to your campus and dorms in your home county.

Because science!

Sorry fellas, when I see absolute ******** like that, I'm going to call it out for the farce it is. Political sideshow and circus.

50: I was trying to take up for you man. You missed the point.

I'm also 42 years old and weighed 145 pounds this morning before I went out for a slow run. You don't know who you're talking to and you've made a mistake

Oh man. Sick burn, dude.

Your d-cups must be quivering as you chortle with mirth at your own hilarious wit.

Next up will be hiking up the elastic waistband on your sweatpants over your prodigious gunt so you can lift yourself onto your rascal scooter for a quick yet slow drive to brag to the other diabetics about your razor sharp put down on the internet while lined up outside the drive thru foot removal clinic.

Really fulfilling the “don’t like people that aren’t one of their own kind” stereotypes that the more civilized and evolved Kentuckians don’t appreciate on a national level there, champ

He was on your side.

- Josh Ali has been on the Kentucky football roster for at least six years.

- Rajon Rondo is going to make a great NBA head coach someday, as long as he can refrain from uttering homophobic slurs at referees.

- I miss the days when home plate umpires would hold those big protective shields in front of them.

- Let's rank the Dakotas.... (Tie) 1. Prescott 2. Fanning 3. Johnson 4. North/South (TIE) 6. Euton

- Program whose athletic misfortunes I take greater pleasure in than I have any real reason to: Texas

Is there any racket going better than being a high level D-1 Football Coach?

You can fail miserably and still walk away a millionaire a couple times over. Get you a sweet analysts gig on a halftime show for a few seasons until some idiot AD gets conned by your agent into thinking you’re a hot commodity again.

Texas football = Indiana basketball

Both produce great talent year in year out yet both programs remain mediocre. At least Texas has a national title that we remember.

Sorry homie. Was dealing with 3 kids at the time (Canadian thanksgiving and wife working 12 hours at hospital hooray!) and misread the comment as being trolled by vernhatton52, who I remember as being fat and dumb as a rock.

My sincere apologies. I fixed my post
