6-4. Think we beat Georgia, but lose to Auburn, Alabama, Florida, and GD Tennessee.

Glanced at Facebook at lunch today only to find a post of a good friend's wife (or so I thought) announcing her engagement to her high school sweetheart, and I was totally blown away. I've been over to this guy's house 3 times this year for a poker game and just assumed his wife went out with her friends to give the guys the house to themselves. No one told me she moved out last year. Divorced in January after 30 years. That's the 3rd 25+ year divorce around me in the past year. You think some of your good friends have it all, and then you find out they don't. And it sucks.

I have a brother who's the designated black sheep of the family. Some 7-8 years ago, I caught his truck loan up to date so the bank wouldn't repo it. Sure enough, he never made another payment himself and the bank took it anyway. He swore he'd pay me back, never did, gave him **** about it once (5 years ago), let it go, and wrote it off as lesson learned. 3 weeks ago we have a family reunion in Owensboro, and he pulls me aside and says he's finally going to pay me back. I tell him don't worry about it, I'm not mad at him, no big deal, keep your money, etc. But he insists he's going to pay me back as soon as he got his paycheck the next week.

Yep. Nothing from him since.

Girl at the cleaners the other day had to use the calculator on her phone to determine that I get back $15 change from a $20 bill for a $5 alteration. Bless her heart.

I, too, have gotten sick of Rex's **** once again. There aren't two major Power 5 schools that care more about their players (and especially their black players) as Kentucky and Louisville. What happened to Breonna Taylor was truly, truly terrible. But nobody called for black athletes to boycott Ohio State or any other Ohio school after Tamir Rice and John Crawford. No one is calling for kids to stay away from Minnesota after George Floyd and Philando Castille. But this guy and his MASSIVE ego thinks stealing others' social media content gives him a soapbox to espouse his moral truths.

My nephew was 6 last year. When his parents asked what he wanted for Christmas, he said he wanted to go to the Belk Bowl. My sister and brother-in-law are casual sports fans at best so I’m not sure where he gets it. I can’t take credit for it because I rarely see them. Anyhow, his dad took him to the game. He met several players the night before and was just blown away by all of it. BIL even mentioned maybe getting season tickets (pre Covid). He’s not a GYERO kid diagramming plays but he understands touchdowns and out scoring the other team means winning.

Fast forward to this year and I wondered if he even knew they played this weekend so I texted my sister to let him know. She texted back the first thing he said this morning when she woke him up was one more day to the game and wore a SEC shirt to school. I have to say that got me in the feels.

So I’m not Richie but here is my attempt:

On December 31 of the year 2019, Lynn Bowden proclaimed “for the future of this team and for everyone around the world watching this, keep disrespecting us because we like that,you heard me!” At the University of Kentucky, we recruit and develop. It is NOT our fault that Auburn has to play us. Tomorrow is the first step towards reaching Atlanta. Go Big Blue.

Even though I lean left on most issues, Rex takes it WAY too far left, anyone with a different opinion is an *******, his Twitter sctick gets old fast, and he is all about himself. Just an egocentric *******.

He is somebody that, even if you agree with what he is saying, it's obvious he has zero clue what he's talking about, and you just wish he'd STFU.

I can't sleep, too hype for the game. We are deep at every position, and TDT will have a breakout season.
