Robin Williams (RIP) joked that cocaine is God's way of telling you that you make too much money. I feel like "transphobia" (whatever that is) is something similar.

Bread and circuses and whatnot.

Joe Burrow is the most talented Bengal ever. The dude's arm is stupid accurate. They may be 0-2, but I feel like they're SB winners. Just so proud. (yes I know Joe will injured and there is zero shot the bengals ever build around him)

OTOH...

We so SEC it hurts. 8 days.

1- I’m not a bengal fan.

2- It’s clear he is talented AF. No help from an Oline, no help from AJ Green and he is so damn football smart.

Also, it doesn’t take much to go out on that limb. I mean Boomer, Palmer, Dillon, Rudy Johnson, Ocho Cinco, AJ Green.........yea I’m pretty confident this kid ends up better than all those bengals.

For funsies, upon performing a quick Google search, Dom last played professionally in Spain and averaged 6 & 6 back in 2014-15.

Hasn’t hit his prime yet, though. IMHO.

Billy G was so awful that I actually tried to consider justifying UK taking Bud Mackey.

In retrospect. the BBN should be thankful that Billy G was so objectively awful that getting rid of him was easy.

We should be thankful that Billy G was so awful that he allowed us to take a step back and be rational and realistic about our expectations as a program. It’s what’s helped us truly appreciate Cals tenure here and being in the national spotlight and hunt for the championship every year! GBB!!

I was there too, and still have the "Ushering in the Billy Gillispie Era" t-shirt they were giving away. I keep it around for laughs.

Listen- we were ALL in a place where “he lives Dr. Pepper and Toast-Chee!!” was seen as a positive and not a huge red flag.

Jean Bell from Wilmore tried to warn us about him when she pointed out how ridiculous his house was but we mocked her instead of listening to her and I for one am sorry about that.

"He's not even worrying about buying a home he's just living in the Cambell House so he can focus on only basketball. This Avery kid in middle school is already committed- Buckle up, boys"

A month later he was seen taking a piss outside of the Merrick Inn before drunkenly speeding off in a rental car. And we defended him.

The only fond (?) memory of the Billy G era was the NIT game at Memorial Coliseum. Pretty cool environment all things considered.
That wasn't really found. It was maybe more surreal, like WTF.

Regardless, they need to have one of those games per season. We're not even close to selling out a few of those early season games anymore. Just make 1 game students and gen admin and play in there.

Not going to defend the guy but I was at Harry's quite a bit during the BCG era and I never once saw him alone. Was always with a table full of folks.

Always seemed sober(ish). Guess that was his Merrick pre-game spot.

The Bungles should just fold up the franchise and blow up the stadium. Turn it into a nice park or something.
The first part is almost certain to happen in 2026 when someone pays a billion dollars and moves them.

Meanwhile taxpayers will be paying for the stadium for the next 50 or so years after than while the other two major league franchises play in on their own separate publicly funded stadiums! The system works!

That would be a great tradition to start as long as we use it with a Power 5 team. I still want to see UK play in the Palestra every few years as a road game.
