Man, how great was/is Vin Scully? You can have Jack Buck, Harry Caray, Uecker and the rest....I'll take Vin. Could listen to that guy for hours. His new videos on Twitter always put me in a good mood.

The goat, IMO.

I give no ***** what Trump did or didn't do; he still gets my vote. He's the only thing preventing Democrats from destroying the country. I used to think that was hyperbole, but it's not. They want to pack the SCOTUS; make DC and PR states to give them 4 more reliably blue senators; eviscerate the first, second, and twelfth amendments; open the borders; institute Marxist policies; continue inciting intersectional hatred; etc. It's truly unreal how many people are so blinded by their hatred of Trump that they're willing to surrender their country and its founding principles to get rid of him. I blame the traditional media and social media. People don't want to read or research topics; they want a couple of lines as they scroll through FB, Twitter, etc. They want to watch shamelessly partisan cable "news" programs that confirm their biases. We've always known that politicians lie, but there used to be at least SOME attempt by the media to be truthful and fair. Now they don't even try to hide their bias. They just flat out lie now. My only hope is that the Dems in power are only pandering to the far left radicals for votes, because if it's truly moving toward the Sanders/AOC end of the spectrum, we are f'ed.

I give no ***** what Biden did or didn't do; he still gets my vote. He's the only thing preventing Republicans from destroying the country. I used to think that was hyperbole, but it's not. They want to pack the SCOTUS; gerrymander us to death to give them more reliably red Congressmen; eviscerate the first, fourth, and fourteenth amendments; close the borders to anyone who isn't white; institute fascist policies; continue inciting intersectional hatred; etc. It's truly unreal how many people are so blinded by their hatred of the Democrats that they're willing to surrender their country and its founding principles to get rid of them. Honestly, at this point is there a right side?

I mean WTF is going on here? One side reacts to the other and we seem to be in constant chaos, but in my day to day life I’ve never seen people so polite and respectful to each other, and everyone seems like they got plenty of money.

There is a huge disconnect between what KY Democrats, and the like, want and what the national Democrat party wants. And for some reason middle America Dems don't see it.

It's not your(or your parents/grandparents) Democratic party anymore.

I say this realizing Republicans have many problems also but they have a more clear vision of the future IMO.

You're smarter than that UCL. The "both sides do it" thing used to work, but not right now. What fascist policies is the right pushing for? How are they eviscerating the first, fourth, and fourteenth amendments? Who on the right wants to close the borders to non-white people? The alt right/QAnon are truly on the fringe, not driving policy. I've heard Republicans condemn them, but still waiting on Democrats to condemn Antifa/BLM.

The real haymaker comes when neither party really cares and as long as we keep worrying about which color team you're on, they get to keep putting it right into our b holes.

Grab a coke I guess?

You don't see the hypocrisy of saying the right has a fringe and the Entire left won't condemn something? Like, I'm left of center but no Democrat. The next time an antifa protestor shoots up a public event, I'll get on it. As of now it's a bunch of dorks trying to find purpose in meaningless politics. Proud boys and the new Para military wing of the right has actual body counts, if that matters.

Has anyone heard anything about Two Keys moving to Pazzo’s? I had read when they closed that they’d likely be moving to another famous place near campus and 1. Pazzo’s is closed 2. Seth owns Pazzo’s 3. They’re currently remodeling the outdoor patio at Pazzo’s.

That's the thing. At an interpersonal level, which is what matters at this point, we all seem to get along pretty well. There are always stories about people helping people, regardless of race, gender, religion, etc. However, when political and cultural leaders inundate people with vague BS concepts like "systemic racism," "white fragility," "cops routinely shooting unarmed blacks," etc., you stoke hatred and resentment. It is all optics. Just ask yourself which party benefits from divisiveness, conflict, resentment.

I'm not answering because there's no point. You think what you think.

You're not answering because you can't. I can back up what I said with numerous quotes, videos, bills, etc. Can you?

This kind of thing is what really concerns me. I've encountered numerous Democrats who can immediately spout off talking points, but then tuck tail and run when challenged on them. Many are being put into a really tough position - their party is moving way too far left, and they know it, but they hate Trump and would never vote R, so they're left trying to defend things they don't believe.

Yesterday a friend of mine told me that a mutual friend told him he'd vote for Trump no matter what he did as long as he didn't murder his family. That's where he draws the line. Murdering his family.

You’re the same dumbass who said last week “I’ve never seen the Democratic party so divided” all the while the last 4 Republican presidential nominees refuse to vote for Trump and/or are actively voting for Biden.

So pardon me for not giving a F about your thoughts on the matter.

~Anyone who votes for Biden is as brain dead as he is. Given that pre-covid/Floyd, this country was better off the last 3+ yrs than at any time in YOUR lifetime, a vote for anyone other than The Donald would simply be called stupid. There is no argument otherwise.

~Looking forward to the political BS during the game tonight. They simply don't get it.

~19 yrs tomorrow....#NEVERFORGET

~Major congrats and blessings to WCC and his family....daughters rock.
