$40,000 a year to learn about it, Wayne. Must be important 🤮.

I've heard a lot of professors talk about how sports are ******** and need to be reigned in, etc... But I've never once seen a professor discuss the outlandish cost to attend their classes or their ********, criminally absurd prices for textbooks.

-52k, actually...and if you are a biology major and want to do any actual labwork, they have a "partnership" with uk...as their labs are HS level. That new student center sure is nice though.

*note* they were generous...got it down to 22k per year. I really wanted oldest (prima) to go there at first...sadly she is a bio major with a research bent...not an intersectional gender studies major. Whatevs.

You can't convince me that "pro gamer" isn't a more viable career path than "college" right now. Especially as we descend further into the realm of bread and circuses.

-politics/international finance...ivy's etc. may be worth it. Dont know him but I would guess your brother woulda been a success regardless of where he went to school wayne.

-doc/surgeon buddy of mine was valedictorian at Davidson and did med school at Chapel Hill...makes the same as his partner who did UK for both.

-have another acquaintance who went to Brown...super bright, 200k+ in debt and works at a bank.

^point being: correlation does not equal causality...or something.

My wife's HS alma mater is right down the street from where I work and is the closest girls' Catholic school to our home. Marge assumes that is where our girls are going to go, too. I did also, until I realized tuition is 13.3k per year... each.

They are currently in 3rd and 4th grade. Who knows how expensive it will be by the time they go to HS? Their grade school is ridiculous enough.

Maybe by then, all of these late hours will pay off!?!?!?!?

Chicken thighs are the superior part of the bird for a grill or smoker when cooked properly. Mopping them regularly with wickers sauce while they slowly cook is my preferred method.

At this point I’m just entirely confused about all these gender and sexuality terms. I find it best to just keep my mouth shut and ignore the trigender, scuekenxiegender, irogicnegender, and jvjtbsiwkcbgender people arguing about ****.

Further, how long before the word gender is decapitated and buried in a shallow grave?
There is a great clip out of some government meeting in Germany where the guy stands up and addresses the audience by using every possible “correct” pronoun for a couples minutes and then runs out of time to make any other statement and sits back down.

Also, years ago, my wife used the term “*****” in the modern “correct” way and it made my dad laugh so hard that he did a spit take with his Miller Lite. He only knew of “*****” as a slur and it caught him off guard when my wife was said it in normal conversation. It was great.

- So, as of 2:35 am 11 days early I am the dad of a sweet lil 6 lb. 11 oz. baby girl. Mom’s water broke at 11:45 or about 30 minutes after I had dozed off. Talk about a freak out.

Everyone is good. Everyone is healthy. It’s a feeling I cannot describe. Proud that she was born on the second anniversary of Big Blue beating that Gator *** in the Swamp AND on Uncle Wodie’s birthday.

- God bless nurses. What a kind and patient and necessary group of people.

- Fair is fair and few have right to a bigger beef with woke Twitter and the lefty media bitches. Do I like that he’s being used by a pawn by that POS con man Trump? No but I am on his side for going Bryan Cox to all the lefties.

- What was UK in state when we were there- $5k? Wasn’t much more than New Cath which was also reasonable.

Congratulations to you and your wife. Being a daddy to a little girl is incredibly awesome. Took my 6 year old to the American Girl store in Columbus over the weekend. Dropped several C notes, but was rewarded with a big hug and kiss and a “thank you Daddy for getting me a doll, I love you” This is why we do this....

Literally was just preparing to carry my girl to bed as I stumbled across the awesome news. Congrats, Chad. Best, most rewarding thing you’ll ever do.

Granite, he had a lot of talent to work with, but Billy Donovan did much better in OKC than I expected. Pretty quietly had a .607 winning percentage, avoided any major drama with his stars, seemed to be very likeable.....good for him. If nothing else, he's set himself up for a huge payday either remaining in The Association, or coming back to college.
