I have googled what certain dreams mean, and concluded that most of them mean that you either "have life-changing decisions ahead" or "its cancer"

My concerns re: Terry Wilson:
  • His injury's impact on his mobility
  • The fact that when he runs he seemed to go down a lot easier than Lynn (tough comparison as Lynn was an AA, but still)
  • Who is going to step up to be a play-maker in Lynn's absence, and the need to have that guy to take some pressure of Terry
What I don't have concerns about:
  • Leadership
  • Poise
  • Arm strength
  • Accuracy (he hit me right in the hands from about 40 yards after the Belk Bowl!)

I remember a shitload of "We win despite Terry Wilson not because of him" posts during our 10-win season. Gave Benny all of the credit, basically. More so on HOB than from the experts here.

Even when we were winning, many people were complaining about our lack of a "real QB" and a passing game.

But when he only threw for 108 yds in an OT loss to Texas A&M and followed that up with 18 passing yards in a narrow 14-7 win over Vandy people were screaming for his head.

He never had prolific passing numbers:

CMU - 78
Florida - 151
Murray St - 163
Miss St - 71
SC - 132
Tex AM - 108
Vandy - 18
Mizzou - 267
UGA - 226
UT - 172
MTSU - 121
Lou - 261
Penn St - 121

But he touching won games. And that is all that should matter.

But there were definitely a lot of backup QB fans, as is usually the case with UK football fans.

I got in trouble on the New Orleans UKAA Facebook page by posting something like “this was Drew Barkers most memorable moment at UK,” followed by the video of him getting knocked TF out.

Was still true, tho.

PS backup quarterbacks usually suck.

What exactly were his other highlights at UK?

My only deal with Wilson is his running like he is on ice skates. That A&M run on 3rd down comes to mind where I thought Stephen Johnson would have got the first down even if his leg exploded doing it.

So there is a concern of him coming off a leg injury.

OK. Dear eight pound, six ounce, Newborn Infant Touchdown Terry, don't even know a word yet, just a little infant, so cuddly, but still omnipotent. We just thank you for all the games you won and that Citrus Bowl...LOVE THAT!!! Let's go win the SEC!!!

Also due to a binding endorsement contract that stipulates I mention Powerade at each grace, I just wanna say that Powerade is delicious and it cools you off on a hot summer day and we look forward to Powerade's release of mystic mountain blueberry. Thank you, for all your power and your grace, Dear Baby God, Amen.

:: The most underrated 80's soundtrack...Less Than Zero

- "Going Back to Cali," LL Cool J
- "Bring The Noise," Public Enemy
- "Hazy Shade of Winter," The Bangles
- "Rock and Roll All Night," Poison cover
- "Rockin' Pnuemonia & The Boogie Woogie Flu," Aerosmith cover

Those bangers plus Joan Jett, Danzig, Slayer, Oran Juice Jones, and Roy Orbison all on the same record. I wore THE HELL out of that cassette when I was a kid. #Old

:: I was at that Texas A&M game. It fell on my birthday weekend. College Station was a bucket list trip of mine due to the Texas vs Texas A&M game being the football game I watched at my grandmother's kitchen table every Thanksgiving. I still have a bazillion pictures on my phone from that trip. That in game stadium environment was insane.

:: Any backup talk this year is another part of the tragedy of Terry getting injured so early last season. I full well believe Terry would have followed up the 10-3 year with enough improvement to dole out plenty of STFU juice related to backup talk had he stayed healthy.

:: It is weird how backup QB's are revered by this fan base.

Got news for some of you - the backup QB is the most popular player on many if not most teams. To think UK is one of the few is silly.

Backup PG's on the other hand..............

Regarding the backup Qb situation, maybe UK fans are fixated on the subject considering how many times we’ve been torched by other teams back up Qb?

Well, signing my life away today was a blast. Time for paperwork, business plans, tax filings etc. hopefully in 2 months we are dba Down Home Distillery.

At the same time preparing for my rye releases over the next month, and ended up drunk.

That would not have been so bad if my day job wasn’t so high maintenance requiring me to visit 2 job site that got messed up deliveries.

And on top of that, my wife found out today that all of her extra crazy aggression isn’t my fault, she is in menopause which is a thing sometimes after getting fixed.

Guess I should be happy I’m not to blame, but in the meantime coming home drunk wasn’t smart and if anyone has a couch, I’ll drink some more with you!

Mags is really perpetuating this idea that the vast majority of Kentucky fans don’t like terry Wilson. I don’t know a single person that doesn’t want to see that dude behind center down on the plains. Really wish he’d cut that **** out.

I know quite a few (and there are some on this very thread), but the point someone else made about social media is probably true with me. If you ever could take the time to read my Twitter replies, KSR Facebook replies, etc, you would realize that whatever horrendous opinion a person could have on sports, politics, or anything else, we have a huge amount of fans who will express it. It is hard not to let it affect how you see things.

I had this conversation the other day with Drew. What is a better representation of our fan base? It is the people I know in my own life and are friends/associates that I interact with? Or is it the thousands of fans who write us in our various communication spheres? If it is the former, then our fanbase is totally reasonable with an occasional weird opinion here and there. If it is the latter, well that's a different story. I am not really sure which is more representative since my friends is a self-selected group and the other really isn't.

Either way, with the NBA thing happening now, it is going to be a cesspool of negativity that will be hard to avoid. Oh well...."The Worlds Toughest Race" on Amazon Prime, "Breaking Bad" on Netflix (which I somehow had never watched all the way through) and "What We do in the Shadows" on Hulu are good distractions

I didn't say she was hot. I said she looked good in that particular promo they were showing for that new SC with her and Michael Smith.

But I do love black women. Sue me.

Leaving the bubble and boycotting the whole season would be the nuclear option. I hope they know what they’re doing.

They say the guys are tired of living in the bubble. I get it, but it's a bad look. Stick it out as half the teams are getting eliminated every other week.

How much player salary is now getting left on the table now that they are in the playoffs?

I don’t think the playoff money is that much. So it will not be a money decision. I guess it could ultimately effect their revenue share in the future.

Man . . . I don’t know what to expect about anything anymore. Everyday feels like we’re all a little closer to waking up from a vivid dream. The closer we get to the wake up, the weirder and more jarring it gets.
