So incredibly sad about WW. What a funny and intelligent guy he was and his humor will be missed by so many. So sad for his family as they grieve and go through the process. We only get one run at life guys, make the most of every day.

Going to pop open some Woodford brown water later for WW and reread some of his twitter postings with a giggle.

Love you guys.

Zooms crashing all over town. Parents up in arms and on the warpath. Virtual learning is great!!!

Democrats nor Republicans care about any of that Covid related stuff/funding but mention that the USPS might not be able to get mail in ballots on time and they drop everything. I seriously hope every single one of them not only lose but catch Covid for life!

We’re coming up on 20 years on here, y’all. Major life changes, events, friendships, marriages, kids, highs and lows. Crazy.

Raise a little Woodford Reserve tonight in honor of our friend, and two decades of stirring up ****.
I was one of the first dozen or so members of this original site. Names have changed and whatever, but fact is, it’s been a life. My little brother died unexpectedly five years ago. It crushed me so bad I quit posting on social media places like this. It’s still hard to talk sports now, because he was and always will be my best friend and best sports buddy. We buried my dad three days ago. He was my baseball, football and basketball coach in my toddler years. He made me a sports fan. It’s been in my blood ever since. The death of NJT isn’t a sports thing. It’s a life thing. Cling to it, folks. It can end without notice.

RANDOMS.

* Well the Chinese are throwing spectacle parties in Wuhan and we can't get kids to school. 2020 is the Year of Idiocy.

https://www.cnn.com/2020/08/18/asia...153LoxtgFU_excP9lfo857r02fHn2PRbiu_NIjakyCkQU

* WTF is the Big Ten doing? If COVID should teach government and institutions anything it is that taking the time to understand the facts and present a truthful, consistent message to the masses is far more important than being the first to respond on inaccurate information.

I'm dubious that college sports will be played in 2020-2021 but the SEC, etc's approach of waiting to see is the best play. And most truthful.

* 15 Days To Stop The Spread was in March. It is August 18, 2020.

Great effort. Superlative.

* I respect Calipari growing a COVID beard and WOP mullet. Why not? He's earned it.

* I say this as a registered independent who did not vote for Trump and does not plan to in 2020 either --> the fact that Joe Biden is the leading candidate for president is an embarrassment and it isn't his fault. What in the hell is the Democratic National Committee doing that resulted in a guy who probably has dementia and can't answer questions without a script becoming the likely next leader of the Free World?

America in 2020 needs to go to rehab or otherwise do a lot of introspection. Is there an Idiots Anonymous program or something?

What the hell are we doing?

* I've never been more at peace with a UK sports program than I am with football under Stoops. He's built a sustainable machine that is going to make us respectable until he moves on.

He could very well be our Frank Beamer.

So sorry about your family, big guy. You and I go back a long way....prayers up.

I mean Biden appears to have some mental degradation going on but I feel like at worst it puts him even with the opposition.

how about this- in 2024 both parties scrap primary voting and hand pick a candidate that at least has his or her marbles? If the people don’t like their choices they can form their own parties. Would that be worse than what we’ve got going on now?

Not a chance in hell unles there's campaign finance reform and term limits. Whether we like it or not, both major parties will do anything/everything to protect the limited field of competition.
