Dropping by for the first time in many months to read the NJT tributes. Didn’t disappoint. Condolences to all of you that knew him.

Hope you’re all well. **** Covid.

Gyero, I’m going to send some flowers from Lee’s “Wildcat Friends”.

After talking with CCLark, the best place for memorial donations may be made to the Birmingham UK Scholarship. If you want to make a donation: please make your check payable to the University of Kentucky and mail to Jim Bryant, 4008 Acton Circle, Birmingham, Alabama 35243. The Birmingham Alumni Association doesn’t have any fundraisers this year due to Covid so they believe Lee would have appreciated donations to their scholarship in his memory. Clark can clarify if you have any questions.

RIP woodford. :(

This is badass. What a fitting tribute.

Lee created a popular on-line alter ego "Not Jerry Tipton." Devoted primarily to Kentucky athletics, it demonstrated his true values: family, faith, patriotism, humor, and a scathing assessment of rival Louisville – so much so, syndicated columnists and casual fans set to unmask him. Lee found the efforts misplaced, explaining simply, "I was never trying to hide who I am." Those words perfectly fit the father, husband and man who lived his values and loved his family.

Damn, what a terrible, terrible loss...he was so funny and sharp. A true Gyero man.

As many have said, this place is special for so many reasons. A community for wildcat friends, a brotherhood for the faithful, a place to celebrate the highs and find solace when life kicks you in the teeth. And today really sucks.

Prayers for his family, he was one of us. RIP bro.

Everything has been said already. Been thinking about him a lot the last couple days and im sure i will a lot going forward. Heartbroken for his family and everyone who was close to him. Loved his college football and basketball season countdowns to the seasons, as he did it every single year, every weekend, and posted about it daily. Truly enjoyed engaging with him in gyero and twitter over the last decade plus.

As many of you have already stated, GYERO really is family during times like this. When my brother died, y'all came through in a big way.

And it was in the days after his death that this thought came to me...

Why do we wait until someone is gone before talking about how much they meant to us?

When my brother died, hundreds of people told me about the impact he'd had on them, their families, and their community. And my guess is that he had no idea.

Maybe we should just let people know how they've impacted us while they still have a chance to hear it themselves.

The greatest gift you can ever give someone is letting them know how they positively impacted your life. Just my opinion.

We tell each other every single day on GYERO just how terrible they are, so I’m not sure what you’re getting at.

Guess I’ll be looking for a new best man at my wedding, a Godfather to my children, a consigliere for my syndicate, and the person to give the eulogy at my funeral.

Your loss.

Rex is an attention *****, bottom line. Just a POS all the way around. He can blame whatever he wants on addiction, and that's fine, but he's still a POS.

Can't believe he's carved his little niche out; just shows how touched we are as a society when he's trying to be some sort of known moral authority.
