I guess Woo is at the top of the Tubby Guys Who Stuck Around. That dude loves KY, and he's hilarious. Glad to have him.

Ramel comes around some and seems to enjoy everybody.

Not a lot of happy faces and good personalities involved with the Tubby years.

(of course Michael Porter stuck around for nefarious reasons)

Woo was at the Norton Commons Y a few months ago curling one of those 30 lb straight bars. Five sets of 10. Was not impressed with his physical prowess.

I use Hertz, love being able to just breeze through and pick up car without talking to anyone. Upgraded status with Amex platinum and Delta. CLEAR checkout some places too for leaving the lot...not sure how bankruptcy has effected.

I think guys like Fitch, Daniels, Hawkins and Estill etc blossoming into really good college players made Tubby think he could just go out and get any lowish ranked player and turn them into stars. This gave us Thomas and the Perry's. He did nail Meeks tho.

I was sure as the sun convinced we were winning it all when we got Rondo, Crawford and Morris.

That 2004 SEC Tournament Final with Raftery on the call? Shew boy that was a fun one. Used to go back and re-watch that game a lot. Destroyed a gimpy *** Walsh with Lee/Roberson etc...

Absolutely phenomenal basketball.

Not too hot of a take but I enjoyed watching the the 2004 team more than 2003, tbh.

Rex [vomit].

By far, his 2014 attention-seeking assholery has supplanted the memory of his performance in a meaningless December 1986 game vs. U of L.

I don't follow him on any platform, but whenever I see something from him, it ends in ". . . EVER!!!" What a Drama Queen. Very low IQ.

F him.

Team CC. F*** Rex and f*** UNC.

I started disliking Rex when 15ish years ago he said UK was racist because they hated on him dating a black chick. Nah, they hated on you because you were a PoS. Like he's proven to be everywhere he's been.

2014 was the final straw. Will never convince me that he didn't cost us that title.

Geese hates Bogans!!!!

03 team vs Florida and Georgia at Rupp was clinical dissection. About as perfect as it gets.

1996 LSU is the GOAT though, with 1993 Wake right behind it. But those 03 games are close. 2015 UCLA was pretty amazing too.

For all the talent Calipari has had, he rarely just embarrasses a team. Wish he would do that more.

Check out the Turo app, Anth. I’ve never used it, but my barber had a great experience using it. Basically Uber for renting cars.

We just missed out on getting to play in the Duke's Mayo Bowl. If Wisconsin isn't playing in the Mayo Bowl every year they're not in the Rose Bowl then what's the point?

-beach was nice. Caught a shark. Bike trails were fun.

-we stayed in a house w/pool on harbor town course. 3 minutes on the bike to beach. Nice kitchen...only had to eat out twice

-the beach with older kids is vastly more relaxing than younger. Helinox backpacking chairs for all/lightweight "beach tarp"/all other accoutrements fit into my 42 litre pack...no muss no fuss. Really don't miss the days of hauling massive amounts of crap for a "beach day". Kids are semi-autonomous. Twas nice.

^wasnt France/Italy but it was a nice/needed respite.

-looking to buy an acoustic guitar and a fender jazz bass. Most of my stuff is electric/for "playing out"...need something that i can play/write with quietly. Time to get back into it(feeds the soul) and i have garage band on my ipad. Minus while.

^plus its a better(cheaper) midlife crisis than a convertible or a girlfriend.

-daniels is my all time favorite basketball cat.

-Sky Walker has it down. Sell a few magazines to dudes that just want to hang out and talk UKBB, like WIlly. Go to games, wave, sign autographs, be a nice person in general, flirt with the middle aged ladies, #profit. He's a worthy All TIme UK Great. Can't drive for **** but I'll give him a pass on that.

I wish Mash was around more but he's got an empire to run and hopefully now that the Cal/Pitino stuff has fizzled he'll be back more often.

-RE: #2, I'm not ready for sleepless nights and diapers but kids need siblings(when possible) and being a dad is the best.

-Not really a big "guy behind the curtain" conspiracy theorist but all this happening in an important election year makes you wonder "wtf is really going on here?"

-Can't imagine what the Bar/Levell family is going through. Just awful. My limited interactions with both families have been great.

-Faucci making an ill-advised statement on football. That's going to lose him some favor. Assuming the 2nd wave doesn't kill every single person on the planet this Fall is going to be an epic sports run. Basically 24-7. Should really cure most of our issues. People are WAY too bored and stir crazy right now.

Both of these things have been coming for a long time.

Any recommendations on mattresses in a box? There are so many companies operating in this space now and half the reviews appear to be company promoted. Come on internet friends, help.

My wife is a reviews freak. Researches everything before purchase. We went with Lull and it’s been really good.

Kenny Walker has it all figured out, imo. Always walks around with a big goofy grin on his face and loves when people call him "Sky". Gives some speeches at the local chambers of commerce, etc. and seems to legitimately love being a former UK great.

Love that guy and I'm too young to have watched him play.

Love Kenny, and talk to him fairly frequent. I got to know him a lot closer thru Wes Strader (RIP), but talk about dumb as a box of rocks. I do not get ALL of the Rex hate. He deserves some, but he is not the first athlete who had injuries and because of them got hooked on pain meds. Brett Favre was even worse than Rex. Now some of the **** he done, he deserved some backlash, but not something to hold a grudge for ever. To me, Doron Lamb BS was worse than what Rex did.

Turned off Bill Simmons a few weeks ago because of his politics and his tone was overly negative.

But he reeled me back in with Fletch on The Rewatchables.

Mixing pop culture and sports...stick to what you do best and profit!!!

* Have played more golf in the last 6 weeks than I did in the previous 3 years. Unfortunately, there is no hyperbole there. Went through a long phase where I just didnt enjoy it. At some point the self-disdain for hitting bad shots has eroded- Nothing bothers me as much anymore. Made the call to try and walk instead of ride as much as possible too- I think that helps as well.

* Lake weekend coming up. Heading to a buddies place on one of the lakes outside of Knoxville. I think i've reached the age where skiing takes me a good 3 days to recover from- and thats best case scenario without shredding a limb mid wipe-out.

* Congrats to the Schems. Good point on kids needing siblings. At this point we'd be thrilled with having one.

* We (actually just me) put in a garden in the spring and now I have a lot of tomatoes that we are never going to eat, more cucumbers than a family of 2 would consume in a lifetime, and i'm pretty sure a deer also died after goring itself jumping over a fence after eating all of the mint. So I believe this will be the only season of the garden. I will however continue propagating my hydrangeas until they surround my entire property line.

Bill Simmons was too political? [laughing]

Grow some thicker skin, bubba.

Pick and choose your lane. It’s not about his politics. It’s about the fact that I’ve developed a routine with Simmons for 20 years and I don’t want to mix politics into that routine.

Page 2 days - print that **** out and go take a dump. Good to go for 15-20 minutes.

We went with Tempurpedic, and it’s been great. Only regret was didn’t get the individualized adjustable frames...we like different settings.

I just tune Rex out now. Was very disappointed in him. He apologized and I’ve moved on, but I have no interest in him anymore.

What did Doron Lamb do other than get a bunch of free room service?

Came in on Cal's dime and then stayed in his room and did not play in the alum game that he was brought in to play in. Then tweeted out some very nervous tweets insinuating he got $$$$ to play. Exactly how often does Lamb come around or talk about his time at UK ? Some on here worship him because of his stupid, illiterate tweets. But Rex catches **** ? If Cal had a problem with Rex, he would not be around, period. Like I said, he deserved SOME of the ****, but it has been way too much, he effed up, nobody is perfect. He did not cost us ****, UCONN cost us the title, and Randle with the bad wheel, with the cramping. I guess Rex cost us the Wisconsin game, the second UCONN game, the UNC game. It is a easy and lazy out, blame somebody who didn't have jack **** to do with the on court performance. The trainer cost us, blah, blah, blah. How about the players and Cal ? No ?
