He was on LeBatard a month or so ago and was trying to act too cool to talk about his basketball career. You know, the only reason anyone knows he is and especially being interviewed on ESPN radio.
Rex also couldn't get out of UK fast enough at the first hint of trouble. And that was a day and time when leaving early for the draft, especially as a sophomore, was fairly uncommon.

Kenny Walker has it all figured out, imo. Always walks around with a big goofy grin on his face and loves when people call him "Sky". Gives some speeches at the local chambers of commerce, etc. and seems to legitimately love being a former UK great.

Getting out of Ohio for a weekend. Longest I've consecutively been in one place for like 15 years. Time to move forward. Gonna enjoy a long weekend off the grid and golfing all weekend

-Can't imagine what the Bar/Levell family is going through. Just awful. My limited interactions with both families have been great.
-Faucci making an ill-advised statement on football. That's going to lose him some favor. Assuming the 2nd wave doesn't kill every single person on the planet this Fall is going to be an epic sports run. Basically 24-7. Should really cure most of our issues. People are WAY too bored and stir crazy right now.

There are more people out now, people are traveling by the 1,000's to this state for vacation now, there's more testing available and the story is there is a rise in cases? You know what, go f'ing talk to the idiots governing the NE that completely and utterly f'd up so bad that it was nearly excused by most as a simple whoopsie but also used as a means to target other states with what they should do.

Regarding our former guys coming around, anyone notice the absence of the true Tubby guys over the years? There are a few exceptions, but overall, it's like those guys basically just disappeared.

Chase style question: Is there any strategy to rental cars or just log in and select a style knowing you're going to get something that sucks and smells bad? I've rented like 3 cars ever.
The strategy is to know or meet someone at Enterprise. 30% of all 20-somethings work(ed) there, so it's not very difficult.

Erik Daniels was an example of Tubby's recruiting at its best (there were plenty of worsts, of course). A guy who didn't jump out at you on paper, but who just knew how to play the game.
Not just him, but that entire squad. Gerald Fitch, for example, had one of the better 2guard careers of my lifetime - and easily one of the most underrated. That dude was tough.
One of the 30% that worked at Enterprise but it's been 20 years ago. All you can really do is select a "class" of car like compact, standard, full size, luxury , SUV, etc and they will try to guarantee the class, but never a specific make or model. Also, unless it's changed, the cars are based on their value, not necessarily size, so if you go "luxury" wanting like a Caddy or a Continental for room, you could wind up with a Maxima.
