I come from a position on knowledge on autonomous driving. Unless you get special roads with sensors that the car can detect or have a gigantic infrastructure upgrade to our road system we will not get to 100% driver-less cars in a while.

You will get a lot more tech for highway use where the car can detect cars in front/side/back (already have this) and the driver can essentially not pay any attention but to completely have no driver is a long way off.

When I went to a global corporate leadership training for my company to Singapore last November I became friends with people who take care of driverless trains in Italy and Australia. This is on trains which are on a dedicated rail and they had so much tech for signaling in cities that we just don't have yet.

In summary you won't be able to jackoff in the backseat of a car without a driver in the near future.

I'm still waiting on high speed rail to become a thing here. No reason it shouldn't be already. IMO.

LMPD says additional footage shows David Mcatee shooting at Police. Surely the SAE's and Chases will come in and apologize, right?

For work I do a lot of stuff around autonomous trucks. The "industry" view is that it's coming in full force by 2030 or so, meaning you'll see a sizable amount of freight moved without a driver starting in 2028 or so.

Something like 4,500 people are killed each year in crashes involving a semi, so it's not exactly "safe" now. That said, one major accident that can be blamed on the technology may get all things put on hold. Moreover, my real worry is that an autonomous truck gets hacked and drives through a crowd.

Perhaps that will put an end to this basic ***** stuff like people putting their facebook profile pic all black. I mean how many nights do BLM-initiated protests that lead to death, destruction and mayhem have to happen before some of you cucks get off your knees?

-Greg Fisher's press conference right now and he looks just like Billy G the day after he was fired. Good Lord, man. Get it together. How has this loser been the Mayor so long?

When they showed the video there was overlay of his teams profile. Lol. What a buffoon. 3 ring circus over there.

-A frozen snicker? WTF?

-The #blackout Tuesday thing is great other than I keep waiting for a photo or video to load. Every.Single.Time. Then I feel like an *******.
.
-Back in a gym this morning and a legit haircut today. Getting closer.

-Thankfully we still have most of the country locked down, schools and day cares closed, restaurants below break even, bars closed, more and more businesses closing or too heavily restricted. Certainly wouldn't want to do anything to increase the spread of this virus now that we have it on the downside. We're in this together, after all.

Link?

Actually not being a smartass here. I genuinely want to read about this.
Here.

My non-PC analysis is they shouldn’t have let the female cop run point. She lights up the open door with a paintball gun (rubber bullets?) - which they think is gunfire. But she’s possibly just shooting into an open door - into the building. So he returns fire with a real gun (doesn’t know if its cops or what) and then she whips out her real gun and unloads it while backing up.

I certainly will if that footage comes out.

Per CJ...

Louisville Metro Police released additional video footage Tuesday afternoon ....

Before playing the footage at the press conference...

The video appears to show Mr. McAtee firing a gun....

While you're at it, why did those St. Louis and Vegas cops jump in front of the bullets that hit them? Pretty irresponsible, right?

Video is strange.

Looks like dude in white shirt could be holding a gun. Also odd, a few girls took off running at the beginning of the video.

I'm betting the time between the 1st shot and when police returns fire matches the gap between those girls running and when he gets hit.

Having a car that 99% drives itself but I still have to be available in case it screws up sounds like a bigger pain in the *** than actually driving.

Let me know when I can have a martini and read a book and get where I'm going like a gentleman.

It is. That’s why Google essentially abandoned it. They had their employees driving around and realized they were all too complacent, no matter what.

Tesla broke convention and brazenly calls it “AutoPilot” for marketing purposes. All of the other car manufacturers are careful not to call it that.

Tuesday's was Laugh Track Live at the The World Famous Two Keys Tavern. $3 cover charge at the door, and 2 comics a night, with DJ Jesse Warren spinnin' on the 1s and 2s afterward.

Also, I believe they had cold, inexpensive beer at Shenanigan's.
Also, closed later than 1a.

Took me a month to convince Eddie to do 2 for $5 jagerbombs on Thursdays. He didn't regret it and those were definitely #blackoutthursdays.

Booker, next tailgate we should recreate "Spin the Wheel" night at Tazwell's.

Instead of prices, we could just have a different drink it could land on. I know Anth and BBdK would be down.

I’m not sure about anyone else but I’m legitimately interested in how these things are coming down. Rax, I know your proposal to have your boys mash at them until they fell was rejected but how do you think these guys are doing it?

Shouldn't be a problem since China will likely be in control of it.

Taking bets on which woke *** sportswriter is gonna be the first to write an article about how this is the perfect time for the NFL to extend the olive branch and bring Colin Kaerpernick back into the league.

Did you know that Kap has been keeping himself in tip-top game shape and (ohbytheway) here is an exclusive look at him throwing the ball to black guys who appear athletic?

If you want to buy the manual he wrote called Being An NFL QB AND A Vegan *****!, please click this link.
