One observation I've made about today's popular music with teens is that so much of it is designed around being usable for tik tok and other social media apps. The actual "music" itself is secondary to being able to lip sing or design some sort of dance to it or send a message to friends.

Lending itself to a lot of repetitive, nonsensical garbage.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.

I have the Life360 app on my (just turned) 18yr old and 11yr old's phones. The 18 year old doesn't mind it because it actually gives him more freedom and he doesn't have to check in nearly as much. It's good for the 11yr old when he is on the bus for athletic trips or when goes somewhere with friends. There is no trying to guess when the bus is going to arrive at school.
How far do you take this?

Kid wanting to go to the park to play ball, is in fact better than wanting to go to the park to jump on a pole or a pipe. Say No to Drugs and poles. Which brings me to a point of a very touchy discussion. I get allowing kids to express themselves, but D-Wade's kid was "allowed" to choose his / her gender preference at a way too young of an age in my opinion. if I read correctly, he was allowed to "choose" around the age of 10 ? He referred to Zion / Zaya as the "she" pronoun for the first time at age 12, but supported the decision before that. I do not know that i could support my child on that kind of decision at search an early age, damn sure would not refer to the kid as he / she which ever they decided to be. Just way too young. Adolescence is a very important part of ones life, making decisions before is just a mistake.
The Paddock has made an appearance.

For the record, Honky Tonk EJ is the best version of himself and his band. Sorta like Mick Taylor with the Stones.

If DJ Warren isn't laying down Bossman Fat tracks interspersed with Grove Street, over and over, then what are we even doing here?

Calling my shot right now - Pitino replaces Ewing at Gtown.

Assuming he doesn't have a show cause.

Why do you think that???

Ewing has another year or two to make some headway but it doesn't look good for him.
It’s a ridiculous shot to call two years from now, thus it’s another brick in your wall. Build the wall, chief.

We are on our 2nd week of being mandated to wear them at work. Since then, we have 4 people out awaiting results of COVID and today our 1st confirmed. Not sure there's a correlation or just coincidence.

Not a fan.

In today's Daily Prison News, it takes a little heat off the ridiculous national "story" about the Central City "spike", and the uninformed, ******** editorials that followed, lumping Kentucky in with states that are opening "too early".

- fun fact, Mac McClung’s father was my position coach in high school football. Dude was a helluva athlete himself, played Football for Va Tech. I’d love... absolutely love to have that kid in Lexington, but no chance Cal is interested since he’s not a projected lotto.

- knob creek maple... do yourself a favor FTW

- BlackAF on Netflix is a damn funny show

- Hunters on Amazon (with Pacino) is phenomenal

- Call of Duty Warzone is pretty damn fun for quarantine entertainment

- seemingly no end in sight for the working at home. I love the freedom and such from it... but I also hate the freedom from it. Odd I know, just prefer the round of work, then home, etc.
