I think the license plate thing was a mistake...probably the first real one I saw from him where I thought they handled it incorrectly. With that said, as we talked about on the show, I am not sure what you do when you give an order and someone openly defies it. Do you just let it go? But having police take license plates gives your opponents fuel to feel worked up, so it probably was the wrong call.
I just don't get the sudden vitriol from some towards him. The President literally can't get through one press conference without saying 25 absurd things, yelling at people and saying he has absolute power to do whatever he wants. When confronted with those facts, many of his supporters shrug it off and say, "oh well, he just says how he feels." Andy does one thing they don't like and they start calling him "Andy the Tyrant."
To me, these decisions are REALLY hard. And I give some leeway to any making them. Trump is a fool but I give some leeway to Pence and those folks because I really believe they too are trying. Lot of pressure on hard decisions with a lot of people ready to go insane if you get even one thing wrong.
