I mean if you listen to Dave Ramsey should have 3-6 months of expenses set aside in an emergency fund, but not everybody (vast
Majority) does that.

30 days is manageable for a lot of people especially with government assistance. 45-60 days gets dicey. 60+ and we will have chaos. The proposed stimulus checks don’t even cover a month’s rent and utilities in CA and NY.
I can think of other places as well.

Went to the beach again today with a crew of 25 that showed up. Volleyball, frisbee, football, just a good old day on the water.

Had a lady from the Miami new times(?), took pics of us playing volleyball and I’m sure she’ll have the title, “ Millennials in key west are the problem.” Whatevs

US sitting on about a 1.3% mortality rate, for people who tested positive. We’re up 8000 cases today but that is to be expected as testing is more available. Wouldn’t be surprised if we hit 100k this week and hopefully that rate drops. Reports out of California suggesting asymptomatic/mild symptoms group probably >90% of cases and that the drug combos are being effective.

Germany at 0.3%, but Italy at like 10%.

Serves him right for faking a heart attack after final sentencing. Probably picked it up in the hospital there before being shipped off to Rikers.

I dont know if the warmer weather will be as much help as we are hoping... its been warm here for weeks and we have plenty of cases (once they started testing)...
Been in the mid-80’s down here in South Georgia for a couple weeks now, and the virus is spreading like crazy throughout the state.

My wife is a nurse. They’ve already tried z packs, with zero success. No offense, but I’ll take her opinion over yours.

That’s cool, as I see it you read half the post leaving out the most important part.

My wife is a nurse too, but it’s the President and the Surgeon General that I’m listening to.

The theory of the warmer weather being a deterrent against this virus was basically floated when the higher ups were under the impression that it wasn't going to be as bad as expected. At least according my buddy who is the Deputy Director for a very large VA hospital.

I don’t either, and don’t pretend to, but if the SG has people testing it in NYC already to the point they are seeing improvement and are waiting until Tuesday before finally reaching a conclusion we will see.

But, they are not bringing it up during this crisis because it is 0% effective!

Warren Willhelm (aka Bill DeBlasio) is a fuggin moron that the entire city hates. Imagine James Dolan x1000. however, nothing he or anyone else could have prepared what is about to happen in NYC.

the whole thing is gonna melt. An already soft condo market is going to be eviscerated.

I’m boogeying after I eventually get fired.

gonna start cooking for folks.
