I know. In Germany, the first reported case of COVID-19 was in late January. Since that time they’ve been tracking and contact tracing and quarantining/isolating people who have come in contact and raised awareness of the dangers of infection to their population and have moved on to mitigation.

If “the flu” were treated the same way, there would mostly likely be reduced death as well.
Right, I just noted they predictably have it under control. I'll forward all covid posts to you in the future to review before posting, thanks for your help.

She explained that she has not exhibited any symptoms but decided to follow self-quarantine protocols "out of an abundance of caution” after consulting with her doctor’s office and the Fayette County Health Department.

Other than the current string of Sweet 16 and Elite 8 losses, Pitino was responsible for the greatest run in modern UK basketball history.

He's also a gigantic narcissistic POS who couldn't for the life of him understand why UK fans would be upset that he decided to lead a program whose fans care more about defeating UK than their own success.

Both of these things are true.

But I hope he wins there primarily because it would cause pain to Louisville Men everywhere, and that's what matters to me.

For the record, I'm a Pitino fan again. Been waiting for this day since he decided to coach the dirty birds.

Pitino spent 15 years crapping on us in every way he could. He's a bad person. He also drowned Louisville in sanctions, left the place on fire, and has spent two years as a pariah in Greece. I think he's paid for his sins enough to go piddle around as a non-threat at Iona. If giving him a game helps give him a platform to begin the phase of his career where he craps on Louisville non-stop, I don't see the harm in it.

- I find Pitino at Iona irrelevant. Not quite Tubby at High Point irrelevant... but in the ballpark.

- I don’t know Jennifer Palumbo. Never met her. Might be the nicest lady in the world... but GYERO has completely turned me against her. I saw the article on Lex18, started smiling and immediately came here for the responses.

Momma's BBQ just said they're not doing takeout. Their post said they "hope" to reopen in the future.

I'm going now to get as many of those wings as I can shove in my fat face hole.

Damn this virus straight to hell.

- Pitino is on my Mt. Rushmore of college coaches. Big fan.

- PTI et al. - Orange Man Bad's decision to ban travel from China on 1/31: great decision or terrible decision? It's likely he saved thousands of lives by doing that, was roundly criticized and called racist & xenophobic.

Dow down almost 13% today. I get people saying don't panic cuz reasons but when you throw all your monetary policy at this market and it just keeps dropping, kinda feel like not panicking is the UKO move.

Or, we throw him a bone and schedule Iona so instead of bitching about Evansville, we can ***** about Iona and hear about it from all our rivals.

F him. He's already been as useful to us as he ever could be.

At this point, the United States is essentially closed.

When the lass gets home tonight, we're gonna have a good talk about the next month or so. I'd absolutely love to pack up our ****, put the dogs in the car, and go camp out in the woods until May or June. If anyone knows where we can hang out in complete isolation, with maybe a wifi signal and a body of water, lemme know. I'll head that way within the hour.

Almost have to look to the fall for Derby. Can't pick a field without prep races and the prep races aren't happening anytime soon.

There is this place called the Red River Gorge. It has, you know, a river that runs through it providing water. In the right spots you can get strong wifi. They allow you to camp there with a permit.

They also have plentiful firewood that you can use to build a fire and stand in.

Can you maybe go there, build that fire, jump in it, then die in it ? You act just like another troll in here, probably one and the same.

Please tell us you're an obese, febrile, diabetic, immuno-compromised, elderly smoker living in Seattle. We could use a little good news today.

At some point, there's going to be an incident where law enforcement has to forcibly shut a small business down, or force someone into quarantine. Very curious about how that will go, especially if it is the slightest bit violent.

They already did force someone into quarantine in Nelson County
Yeah I saw that. Hopefully when it happens to businesses people will shame them into closing as required, instead of "THIS IS AMERICA GDIT" which I've already seen on Facebook.
