I mean he couldn’t get off the bench here. Cal hated him.

To be fair, Cal isn't big on shooters.

Btw, after the usual dismal start we see from our supposed shooters, once Johnny finally started getting minutes and a little leash to play through some mistakes & misses ---> he ended SEC play shooting 41% from 3 in conference games. [smoke]

I'm waiting for the first confirmed case that is directly affecting a team that will be participating in the NCAA tournament.

If a player, staff or support staff member is confirmed to have the virus, will the NCAA prohibit that team from participating in the tournament?

So if (when) UK shuts down and sends “everyone” home (how does that help?) how does that affect basketball?

All of the city departments currently creating an emergency action plan in case the government shuts down and honestly it's starting to seem inevitable.

The escalation out of Italy seems to have prompted some action... I dont know if its an overreaction or not- but if we're talking about preventing death, even with useless people over 55... tough to argue against.

I'm also in a state where large portions of the population have no realistic access to immediate healthcare-- and they seem to have taken approximately zero measures to prepare or even test for it. Bragging about being a state with "zero cases" is great until you find out they just arent going to any lengths to test for it.

It's almost like they think these kids will give it to each other and then go home and continue to spread it resulting in the deaths of family & friends over 50 or something.

Idiots. RIGHT?

You mean like can happen with various forms of the flu? Or could happen to them at Costco, Wal-Mart, Kroger, etc.?

We could just all be hermits until COVID-19 goes away completely. And let old people die off in nursing homes without seeing them again.

FWIW South Korea has had 4 straight days of new cases decreasing.

I actually think cancelling public gatherings for the next couple of weeks is a good idea, but South Korea seems to have found a way to stop it without welding people inside of their dystopian 40k people apartment blocks

Also, a 0.6% death rate and they're testing like crazy with like 200k people tested.

They have this novel idea of testing basically everyone under the sun - and they actually quarantine when infected.

Wild.

North Korea also seems to have figured it out with “executing everyone who’s sick,” so well, not necessarily completely opposed to that route either tbh.

How long can the virus live on a deck of cards or dice? Really can't imagine a worse environment for the spread of a disease than Las Vegas, except maybe Nashville SECT weekend.

I should have it by next week, along w/ a few of my wildcat friends.

:oops::pray:[cheers]

Short of visiting a retirement facility or going on a cruise, and that's because the off chance of being stranded on a cruise ship for 3 weeks is awful, I can't imagine this stopping me from doing anything. At least with the info we have right now.

Willy, you might want to actually click on the link rather than just read the sensational headlines.

I never said it was like the flu. I said it could happen to them like various cases of the flu. Tens of thousands of people die every year from the flu. Some of those people unfortunately caught it from their college aged relatives. Or from their grandkids.

The Bluegrass region >>> whatever the "nice" part of Alabama is. Please bellidat

- The problem with all of the fearmongering isn't that it doesn't actually prepare anyone for anything and absolutely makes it worse. Even if it ends up being very bad, it will only be made worse by the talking heads blathering on. Swine Flu killed 15k in 2009. If Coronavirus kills 10k it will be objectively less deadly than Swine Flu, but it will cripple this country. At this point, any thing over a couple hundred deaths will be seen as vindication for the doomers and the panic level will reflect that

we've tested 20 in Alabama.

20.
Conspiracy Theory

testing less = less cases = less hysteria

US has only 22 deaths (@ 3.6% death rate) for something we have almost no info on and we're shutting everything down. That's all good and well until you realize what the cost is compared to the likelihood of preventing the spread.
