I’ve been staring at the picture all day and no one is helping him up. Explains a lot about UNC imo

Indeed. Sort of like that video of Patrick Towles getting knocked out in a door and his teammates doing nothing.

Other things that explain a lot: the monstrosity that is UNC's shorts.

KSR on a phone is absolute cancer. They really need to clean that **** up. You can’t scroll a millimeter without the bottom of your screen eye raping you. I have AdGuard on, but I guess it isn’t helping.

-What a disaster for Beilein. Leaves an awesome gig at Michigan for the worst NBA franchise, gets labeled racist(kinda), and out in 1 year. Grass was definitely not greener.

-Would love to hear KenPom on this season. Just intrigued because it's been a pretty good predictor the last few years. We just keep falling, the lowest 5 loss Power 5 team other than Auburn, and 8 spots behind FSU(22) who seems pretty underrated. Ahead of Kentucky and Auburn are 12 loss Purdue(26), BYU(19), Texas Tech(16), Michigan(14), OSU(10), MSU(9). That's insane. He has a hard on for B10/B12 this season.

-Instapot carnitas and sous vide shrimp tacos for family dinner last night. Excellent. The airfryer attachment for the IP worked perfect for crisping the carnitas.

-Lol, he missed on 6 bigs and Anthony Edwards. Any 2 of the 7 probably makes us a top 5 team. We lost to Evansville. Swept in Vegas. It's 3 weeks until post season and our PG continues to regress. Our top rated recruit quit the team in mid January. I don't think we're counting this one as a banner year for John.

-Beating the **** out of any team b/w now and Selection Sunday would go a long way with the faithful. Been a long grinding season for a team that should be sitting with 3 losses in mid February. Need to give us something to be encouraged by and a 2nd half we can sit back and relax while watching.

-Baseball team thoroughly swept this weekend, why on earth do they start in mid feb? That's insane. Only 1 day above 50 in the next 7 and it's today. Old Nick is firmly on the hot seat. Missed the tourney with a stacked team, last year was awful, and this team looks to be even worse.

Beilein would seem like a good fit for IU tbh. Of course, Bruce Pearl would be a MONSTER there, but the chances of that are apparently less than zero.

I think BRax would do a hell of a job there tbh.
Can you imagine the number of David's buckets secretly full of Grizzly wintergreen cans? Wow

- Trying to imagine Pearl at IU. They're almost as sanctimonious as the UNC wine and cheese crew (even while wearing XXL hoodies and calling our players the N word).

Beilein would be a great fit, unfortunately.

Texas? Seems perfect for him.

Really think they'll can Archie after this season?

No, I don't think they will.

I understand both sides, though. Without a miracle turnaround next year, with an equally bad (or worse) roster, he's a lame duck coach at this point - recruiting is bad enough already...

I wouldn’t count Archie out just yet. I mean, if he can miraculously sneak into the tournament and win a couple games, they’ll write a New York Times bestseller about him, hang a banner, and hand out diamond studded rings. The bar is pretty low, so I suppose anything is possible.

I've lost count of how many times (100s) I've watched this, but it gives me chills every single time. Aside from the 3s obviously, what made it so special was the fact that it played out in 5 straight possessions, with NO WHISTLES or stoppages in play - allowing the crowd/moment to build uninterrupted. That couldn't happen now.

Bonus to Prince's low-key cocky *** smug reactions.

What a special moment for fans in UK history. We don't need a recap of where everyone was, at the game or otherwise, but it's rare to have a non-tournament moment like that where every single UK fan can remember everything about it so vividly. :sunglasses:

Cool individual moment for Prince but not a special
occurrence in Kentucky Basketball lore, IMO.

That UNC team was hot garbage and I LOATHED Team Turmoil with a burning passion.

Kris Lang was incredibly unlikeable. Also his name was "Kristoffer" which is awful. I wiki'd him to see if he ever played overseas and found he did play in Venezuela, where his nickname was "White Dinosaur"

Its been 20 years and I still yell TAYSHAUN when a UK player gets hot from 3. Obviously that's not very often these days, but guess I should stop since the moment was so small.

Most people in the building knew Prince was pulling up from deep on that last one, and EVERYONE knew it was going in.

5 straight possessions with no stoppages, but also quality scoring from UNC too. As noted, that team was garbage, but seeing guys hit mid range jumpers with ease is refreshing

Sturgill and Tyler Childers later this week... Excited about seeing them but also been recent reports giving both guys pretty mixed reviews on their live performance. My wife- who has never really heard either- will likely hate it.

My new tenant in the rental house has lived there 5 months, and is 3 months behind on rent. "Get a property manager" everyone told me. I'd settle for managing it myself again since I was apparently much better at finding tenants that paid.

UL baseball has been at the top of my Hateable List for a few years so seeing them lose on this play was :fire::fire:

Marrow getting the green light from Saban on staying at UK (not sure if thats really what he said but i'll roll with that narrative)
