-1st half was *frustrating*. That said, i have seen better teams fold at memorial gym. That was a 30pt turnaround against a div 1 team. I'll take it and be happy.

-IQ is coldblooded. Love that kid.

-ashton with a nice "recovery" game.

-maxey a star.

-nick is nick.

-ej did the little things.

-nate and keon are on the team.

-expected a noshow from jj.

-again...that was a good win.

The fact is, that Evansville loss is the biggest guillotine that any team has in the country. No one else has a Q4 loss. There's no margin for error from here on out.

That loss was worth a seed and a half. Truly catastrophic.

Quickley has the D Lamb blood in him. Love it. Just cant finish a fastbreak.

Clear the team has to RUN and play an attacking style to be its best. Cal will not allow it when it comes down to it. What you saw in the 2nd half tonight, at arkansas post-ejection, and before stall ball vs TT will not be how he lets them play. Roster makeup be damned.

Do the Duke loss to SFA was a quad 1???

81st in NET. Quadrant 3 loss because I believe it was at home?

And yes, I know it's a bad loss. But it's arguably the worst loss in program history. And makes the margin of error here smaller then ever.

Think there’s a chance that Calipari takes a look at how we played in the 2nd half and from here on out decides to start pushing the tempo?

(Rhetorical question, btw.)

FWIW (not much?) Cal told Leach in the postgame that "maybe it's time we just start driving downhill at people like they do us." Sounds good to me, Coach!

What is a better seed going to get us this year? I just watched the #1 team in the country last night. They mine as well be the 50th team in the country. No one stands out so who are we trying to avoid? Every game we play in March will be tough. The number next to our name won't determine **** this year.

I sure hope we don't fall to an 8 or 9 seed so we won't have to play Baylor or SDSU in the second round. Oh, what would we do against such juggernauts?

^Is there a reason why? Honestly?

The only 2 teams I can think of I’d rather not see until the E8 is Louisville(obvious?) and Dayton.

I just don’t want an early rematch with UL for any reason, especially when they’d have revenge factor.

Dayton worries me because of the style I am worried about Cal not wanting to play and making our guys too uptight.

Unless I’m mistaken every team that would normally be someone you might look to avoid has a WTF loss. Yeah, San Diego St. hasn’t lost but playing teams in their conference isn’t going to get them tested and ready for the NCAA.

We do own them, but for me it’s still the scariest matchup just because of the risk involved. I’ll be dying all game like always if we play them.

I'm still highly skeptical of this squad but that half was awesome and if you look at our record, it isn't nearly as terrible as it feels. Those Evansville and Utah losses are just huge albatrosses. (We should never go to Las Vegas again. Ever.)

I'm glad to see Cal cut the rotation way down. We don't have very many good players, so he has to maximize what little he does have.

Maybe by this point in the year everyone's conditioning is where it needs to be and we can run a 6.5 man rotation. Let Juzang be the main backup and then pick your poison between Sestina and Brooks based on the opponent. Neither is any good but we need one more big body.

Maybe there is some method to the madness. It is February and we aren't any shittier than any other team in this garbage *** year of college basketball. Maybe we've got a Lloyd Christmas chance at some bloomer pudding after all!

It really was like playing a home game last night....if you play home games in a concrete barn that used to be a prison for the criminally insane.
That place is a total ******** and an embarrassment to the game of basketball. All of us (BBN) that attended should have a nice class-action claim for asbestos exposure in the near future.

Cal has finally settled into a rotation, which is nice. I know you have to tinker early in the year to some extent but subbing as if you are drawing names out of a hat at random probably cost us some of those early season ugly losses.

How weird would it be for this team to grab a title? Nick Richards hangs a banner when John Wall, Cousins, KAT, Fox, Bam, etc couldn’t. Would be ironic, don’t you think?
