I'm sure he's a perfectly cromulent guy, but he offers nothing to a CBB game. Please respect my decision.

I will agree with that. I've only watched him a few times in the fall talking about SEC FB. He used to be a good ole country boy from Giles County, who still to this day run the single wing offense. And won a few state titles doing it.
There's really nothing to be offered during a CBB game. We already have two people talking that we barely (or don't at all) need. Marty does a fine job providing a service no one wants and that can't be done well.
Not sure we've discussed it but its worth mentioning how on-point Daniel the Golden Retriever's performance was last night. He was poised. He played to the crowd. Tail wag was a bit too rehearsed for my liking, but aside from that he earned all of his praise.
Really what I want in a broadcaster is someone who will insult the team/coach/referee/fans I don't like.

I'm at the beach this week and they have these huge installed connect 4 games everywhere. My wife is tired of me telling her that Rajon Rondo claims to be the world's greatest connect 4 player and there appears to be no objective evidence to disprove him.

Catching the end of this Auburn/Alabama game. 78-80 figured it’d be entertaining. Literally 13 straight bricks and several air balls and not a single field goal for either team in the last 3 minutes. Good stuff!

I have a 72- year old lady who works in our office in a secretarial role. She has a dig your heels in, unaplogetic, refuse to acknowledge you're wrong ignorance. One of her things is to butcher people's names even when it is pronounced and re-pronounced correctly many times in front of her. Today was an all-timer with a Vietnamese client we've had for years who's first name is Nga. She asked me more than once if I still had the file for "Ninja Le". I tried telling it's pronounced "gnaw" she disagreed because Ninja is an Oriental name.
